She grinned "All right good. Its not too far so just follow me" Taking off to the sky once again and heading for a small, one room, cottage nearby.

He unfurled his large wings and shot up after her. Her home appeared modest, and he smiled to himself. It suited her perfectly.

She landed and turned back to him with a smile "Well this is my hut. So as you see no banana leaves.. but its quite small. Only one room."

"It is lovely. And very suiting for you." He folded his wings back up as he landed. "I feel that I might be inclined to stay outside though. One room does not leave much room for you to get away from me should you wish to." Andrei smiled at her teasingly, wondering where such a notion as to tease her had come from.

She raised an eyebrow "That sounds handy.. and good for my garden. Now don't you need to hunt? You should do that and I'll make my own dinner while your gone."

She went inside to make dinner.. and try to make sense of the really odd twist her life just took.

He acquired a target and moved in. The sooner this was over the sooner he could go back to Medley, to his lifemate. He let out a breath slowly. That thought sounded so delicious. He had a lifemate. And she was waiting for him to return. It wasn't as if she was willing to participate in being his lifemate at this time, but she was there, and she was willing to spend time getting to know him. The fates were, for some reason, very kind to him.

After eating she flopped down on a chair thinking about wht just happened. She apparently had a lifemate... who drank blood... and slept in the dirt. She couldn't quite get the image of a venus fly trap out of her head even though she figured that wasn't quite right to associate him with.
