The Chietain's illness had picked the wrong time to start hindering his performance in battle. He was in no state to fight off the powerful Geist, and so he simply passed out. His head fell forward and his breath fell silent as his body was dragged deeper into the woods. The two dark skinned men who followed had their fangs bared towards Geist who was now attempting to leave Trance with Geist. They wouldn't put anything behind a man of Geist's calibur. A man like that had nothing to lose. One of them glanced towards Cheville who wasn't all that far way from the scene taking place. "None the less expected from the daughter of a coward." He muttered in reference to her father just before turning towards the dark area in the woods where Geist had taken their Chieftain. It wasn't fear that was holding them back, but it was caution. Diving into the situation the wrong way could cost the chief his life which would be an incredible blow to the village's overall morale. "Go an alert the the rest of the tribesman of the situation."

Dammit, this place is about to turn into an angry anthill. We'd better go.

Myles and his companion move together in one body. They crack their neck a bit, sling the satchel to the front, and gives their wings an experimental beat. Then they start running along the cleared strip, catch the air, and push off into it. Gaining altitude, they wheel around in the direction of GEARBOLT's gates.

Cheville's plans were seemingly coming together when a wild card came into her mist.
"Chieftain! what are you doing here sir?"The words of the chieftain resonated with her, and for the first time in many years Chevile felt shame from her actions. She'd grown arrogant and had fallen guilty to belittling her opponent. Even if her power was more than his or capable of stopping him with ease. It didn't matter now. She'd come to her feet with a pure look of disgust as she watched the wicked hands of Geist wrap around the old mans neck. She'd feel every cell in her body tense with frustration as the old Chieftain was pulled dragged along into the darkness of the woods. As soon as the cloak of darkness had completely sealed there forms. Cheville would already be tuning into the nature around her for the voices of the spirits. She was in a trace, but her mind was still aware of the looks sent her way. Her heart ached as she heard the words of the Guard.

It made her clench her fist hard enough to puncture her skin, allowing drops of scarlet to escape the wound. Cheville priorities had to be reasserted as the situation had become dire. The old man was the heart of Trance and if he died...if he died...She wouldn't know what she'd do, but this was not something that she'd have come to fruition. They weren't out of the woods yet so Cheville would jump down to the guards and ignore any insults that may of came her way. She'd herd them her whole life, and now wouldn't be a test of her. Ludwiga had come to her side and reverted to her sealed state. Cheville would send her into the woods after them at a fair distance to keep watch of them.
Looking to the guards she'd speak, " Cancel the alert, if you let on of this happening to the people, the little sanity we have will crumble. You may not like me, and you may mock my lineage but I still am you superior in the Shamanistic arts! Now you're going to send men to secure a barrier of the forest. I'll relay the coordinates to you as to how far you'll need to set up. Make sure to have guards so the you don't get killed by the malice of the mist. I'm going to save the Cheftian alone. I'm the only one strong enough and I'm the only one strong enough that cares. Ludwiga is keeping them in sight, and if you can hear the voices they are reporting as well. Make sure to make it so the barrier is beyond his current point, if he bumps into trouble it may go to the worst before anything can be done. Only the closest friends of the Chief and Myself may know!" She turn to call her other Familiar " Turn you back to the under world and your front to me Goddess High Witch Baba Yaga!"
Her pistols would be drawn towards the earth and fired. With a sudden deafening silence of the winds and all around, a blue flame would erupt revealing the old witch.

"I'll follow him in Yaga's Motar. It flys silent and fast!" Cheville would take to her familiars vehicle. With a twirl of her staff, the for would shift from a staff to that of her Maken in it's sigil engraved sheath. Then she took off into the woods apparently not right behind the two. She was aiming to cut him off from the front. he was still not in his territory, and with the the estranged woods neither was she to some extent. Yet she still had a chance, and she wasn't going to bet anymore. Cheville was serious now. She was ready to show the face of the legend again. Cheville was ready to throw all the power of a true Maken at Geist, and he'd be smart to not terry. He'd be smart to over estimate, he'd be smart to give in. For the Chieftain was harmed. His body would be split between worlds forevermore.

Come on Yaga speed up around him get around him, If you need it you'll have the sieshou! Now Move! Yaga wouldn't speak or answer her, she'd only give her a nod and lean into her movements in the flying bowl. "Remeber stay at least a mile out of range!" The wind combed trough her hair and her brow furrowed with distress, she hadn't felt since four years ago. When she'd lost something of her self. When even home lost it's familiarity. When Her family had gone to pieces, and her father had become a coward. When he was once deemed powerful enough to have a Valkarie called down to claim him, and he would claim her instead. Bringing the Miracle of her birth and her sister. Slight tears fell from her eyes, but they were tears of the past.

"Well, my work here is done. I think I'll be on my way. Mustn't keep the goddess waiting~" Va'an was already turning back, coming around the tree and placing his hand on the gnarled trunk. "...Which way was it again?" Seeming to have lost his way again, the traveler went off in what direction seemed to strike his memory. Something about a lake? He could hear the sounds of water in this direction, and he'd figure out what to do from there. If only that pretty little familiar had asked him to do something, he just might have, but alas things were getting complicated, the old man had been foolish, and plain and simple the place was getting crowded, and Va'an didn't like company.
At great length he managed to find his way to Trance village.

With his hands spread out like wings, Terra Lume, flew through the air, a smile on his face, now the outstretched arms, weren't need for him to fly, but he couldn't help it, fly was just so fun, and it was all thanks to his Keepsake Fallen Hawk which was the big hawk skull, that also acted is mask, below him laid, the Wickia Woods, a place of evil, one Terra had been through a few months back on his last trip to Trance Village, just thinking about that day, and night brought a cold chill upon him, still he had survive so how completely intact, which meant he was quite lucky, above him ,laid clouds, no blue sky just clouds, and has Terra flew, one of his familiars Gaia, laid in his hair sleeping, his other familiar Baldur was scouting out the area, and should be coming back any minute now, taking care not to fly to low, or to high Terra kept to his present course , taking a longer path to Trance Village, so to give Baldur more time but he didn't need more time, he was pack when he said he would back, so now to Hawks flew the sky, one Human, the other not so much.

"Find Anything."Terra asked, his voice calm and even."Yes I did."Baldur began, his wings in perfect sync with Terra's."It seems the Chieftain has gotten himself captured by an agent from The Institute, and as we speak, he is being followed by Cheville, also, the other Shamans are going to set up a barrier."Terra was really paying attention to the last bit but, he still managed to listen to it."Okay lead me to the man, that old man, may not trust me, but he did help us , after we got out of these woods."Terra muttered Baldur, already heading towards where Geist, was, and as they headed for the man Terra already had a spell ready, if he was able to get the Chieftain away from Geist, which might take awhile

Then he saw Geist, and instantly he flew down through the tree, dodging the branches, his wings simply passing through them as they held no physical properties, these wings came with his Keepsake, and like always they looked like the wings of a hawk, and then he was upon Geist, like a monster from the world of shadows, and the bird skull only reinforced the fact, as well as the spirit wings one his back,."Mother Earth, hear you child's call." Terra mutter, as the Hedgehog in his hair, turned to sand and instantly a sand storm, had kicked up, that created instant cover around Geist who probably would find it hard to see through it Terra, however wouldn't have as hard of a time, as he went to grab the Chieftain and cut Geist's arms of with one of his blades.

As they traveled through the darkness of the woods, Geist could feel the eerie touch of the dense mist upon his shoulder. He was getting closer and closer to the forest as they dragged on backward. Of course this would lessen the amount of men that would come after him. Most of the villagers were terrified of the Mist. He had known this by now. The Professor once stated this after the completion of the last recent scouts on the village. "Alright old man, this is taking too long. I'd hate to splatter your little friends all over these woods and drag your rear around at the same time. Since I'm feeling pretty generous today and since you so kindly came willingly, little old Geist is going to give you a free ride on the shoulder. Whaddaya say big guy?" He gave out a little chuckle as he slung the old man's body gently on his right shoulder. Besides he didn't wanna break any bones on the old guy if he didn't have two, then again if he resists......well you can imagine with Geist's pesonality by now.

"Well let's get to it shall we, their waiting on us back at the Institute. Wouldn't wanna keep those morons waiting for us now would we?" He said sprinting off into the woods. The trees seemed to fly passed him now that he was carrying the old man on his shoulder. Cheville on the other hand didn't seem too far behind. He could feel her seishou approaching in from the far distance. "That a girl. A bit late, but I knew you could do it." He grinned. But her first trial would be to catch up with Geist. From his back, Wrath would create slits through the surface of his shoulder blades. "Oh, so you have something in store for her do you?" Of course Wrath was cooking something up for the owl like familiar who didn't seem to far behind them by now. "You take care of owl gal and the babe while I tend to pops." As he said this another set of tendrils shot out from behind and began slashing open a pathway through the trees and any smaller animals that may have slowed him down. As he sped through the forest the reflection of abnormally large deformed trees would reflect in each in his golden eyes. "About damn time, took me a little longer than expected." He chuckled as he spotted the entrance through Mistvail Forest further down.

Just when things were going well, there was a distraction. Some winged guy decided to crash the party. "I love this place, things keep getting better and better." He smiled. And then it happened. The converging hawks caved in towards him causing an explosion to blow away three trees in the area. Deep within the smoke a small black orb could be spotted. The orb formed around Geist had absorbed most of the damage while the rest of it was exerted onto the Chieftain's body whom Geist used as a shield from the inside. From the inside of the orb loud laughter could be heard and then it was silenced. The blackness drained away munch like a liquid back into the flesh of his skin and the orb vanished. "I hope you like your chieftain a little charred." He laughed. The Chieftain's left arm was charred the explosion that had taken place. "Well, if I gotta beat the hell outta you guys with the old guy's body then screw it. Let's do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

((Torsin you'll just have to re-edit your post or make another one if you're trying to free the old man. But I did acknowledge your attack by the way.))

The old man didn't feel a thing in his current state. He was unconscious and his breathing was slowing with each breath. On the other hand his body still felt the extent of the damage. His lifeless body hung limp across Geist's shoulders and every now and then man would stir with a slight groan. As for the dark skinned men that Cheville ordered, each of them returned a slight smirk towards the woman as if she were some child they used to bully so many years ago. "Superior eh, I doubt that. You couldn't even hold off the Gear Folk let alone deem yourself over us, the Moon Folk." The first one said. It wasn't surprising to hear such things coming from their mouths these days. Ever since someone from their kind was elected as Chieftain over the village, the Moon Folk had grown slightly cockier over the years. With each passing day their arrogance was growing supreme. The second one said nothing. The only thing he did was returned a warning snarl that revealed slightly growing incisors from his canines. If one would look closer, they would notice that both of their eyes leaked a silvery bright radiance that resembled spitting images of the full moon itself, munch like the Chieftain himself. "Remember your place Cheville." The first one reminded her. When he noticed the slight change in the second one's canines, gave his companion a slight pat on the shoulder. "Control yourself, the last thing we need to do is have the Chieftain angry at us for giving away secrets amongst the tribe." The first dark skinned man ordered the second. "Whatever, you go ahead and send the message to extend the barrier, I'll send for more of the guards and at least one member of the Mandinka for the sake of speed." He responded.

There was no doubt that something like this was bound to happen. The Chieftain was too lenient on letting the Gear Folk through the village from the very beginning. Anytime scientists were involved something bad was likely to be ensued from there. Once word had been received by the Mandinka Tribe on what was transpiring in Wickia Woods, the tribe immediately dispatched Mikel to pursue the intruder of the village. Though he was young, this incident would serve as a test to the trials one had to go through to become leader of their own pack. Like the rest of the Moon Folk, Mikel was a dark skin toned young man who's hair was just as ragged except that it was bound by a short ponytail. He wasn't far off from where most of the action was taking place, but that's not where he was headed. So far it was by his understanding that they needed someone to extend the barrier further into the woods to stop the intruder from escaping.

"I doubt if that works. Those Luxia Towers were specifically built to keep out those who lurked within the mist forest." Then again this intruder didn't seem like the type of guy to give up either. Truthfully a head on fight was really the way he preferred to go about things. But that was the typical Moon Folk's way, he had to try something different for a change. The smell of the Gear Folk and the Chieftain could be spotted from miles away. He wasn't sure of the exact situation in detail, but he could tell just from their scent that the two were very close to each other. Just as he knew there were a few more others present there. "Alright, let's get this over with." Mikel leaped through the treetops, letting them the thick branches pass him up in green blurs as he sped through the woods.

As he dove deeper into their brushes, the atmosphere would grow darker and his eyes would naturally adapt to this darkness. Each of them illuminated the darkness before him with a silver radiance that shined so bright, it seemed the very light of the moon itself were captured within them. By the time he reached halfway he had already picked up on the trail left behind Cheville and the others. Apparently another one was among them as well. Judging from his increasing seishou, he must have already launched an attack on the intruder. Though they were further ahead of him, he had already locked upon their scent and with it he would reach them in a matter of minutes. "And I was really hoping it wouldn't be as crowded. Ah well, I'm only doing this for you grandfather."

As Cheville sped along around the moving Geist she'd place her self in a trance and focus on her Sieshou to regulate it between her familiars smoother. This was so she would waste too much energy on the action. She would also astral project to see what was going on right beside the Chieftain. Though she wouldn't be able to do a thing but watch. She wasn't sure if he could hear her, but she did sometimes say, Wait for me, I'm coming. As bothl her familiars and her self were at work she'd spot the estranged figure adorned in Shamanistic wear. She'd not seen this race of Shaman before, but it was clear he was a creature of the sky. Once he attacked Geist, Cheville would cry out to try and stop him.
No you fool!!! You're in the way, if you respond like this! She'd bring her soul back to her body, yet remain in her trance as she herd the spirits talking of more on the way into the woods, though the voices of the woods became more beast like a snarled. She could still make out the voices words, and could tell a strong and fast aid was on the way.

Ludwiga on the other end would feel her master regulating her natural supply and her own powers more so that it would be focused and not wasted. Yet she was having difficulty with the fast whip like tendrils of Geist she had to quickly dodge on a constant. They seemed to come from all ends, yet she was fast and her eyes were strong. She would see them a ways off before they came, and move just in time so not to waste her power and sustain her speed. She'd find her self slowing down once she spotted Geist stopping and being attacked. It became too much when she saw the old Chieftain hurt but she restrained herself with Chevilles orders and kept watch.

Cheville would now be reaching just about in front of Geist as she'd planned. Bursting forth from the trees with yaga's grin wide and her mouth full of blue flame. Cheville was now holding her Blade still sheath and glaring at Geist from up on high not to far from the stranger. She'd begin to talk not looking away from the GEARBOLT hound known as Geist.
"Would you mind giving your name Stranger? If you want to stand here with me and fight this one, after such reckless action. I would like to have the name of the man responsible, because if you get that man hurt again... I will have to place your name on a grave with you in it. " Cheville's voice held no emotion, but had a cold and heartless air. She wasn't trying to start a fight with the stranger, but he was meddling in things beyond his concern or understanding. Not to mention quite recklessly and haphazardly. She jump from Yaga's Motar and Land on her feet gently on the ground. Once she was on the ground she telepathically relay to her familiars not to try any tricks. this man can sense me even when hidden, he'd feel most things with a seishou coming at him. You make the wrong move and this may end in the worst way. She'd taken into account how he was hold the Chieftain on his shoulder, and she came up with an idea. He wasn't aware of her abilities and her familiars were fast so she'd have to move in the next few seconds. Cheville would quickly rush Geist in one quick gust of air from under her feet, thanks to her keepsake. Her blade drawn in the same instance. When she came in range she'd caste a gate of fire in between the small space between giest arm and the chieftain.

Though Cheville was able to meld her gates to an object. Their original use was as a free ranged blast of said pure element. Also with spacial magic such as gates and door ways. A gate could be formed as long as there was a considerable tangible difference between two objects surface. Yet range did matter, so Cheville would have to be relatively close to Geist to do so. The flame would quickly eat trough the arm if Geist did nothing to prevent it from doing so. The gate was affixed to the side of the Chieftain pressed to Geist's forearm. She'd Move for the arm more directly and grab the Chieftain and fall back while slicing into the arm, so as to create a void inside it and have the mass collapse into it self and disappear from the Chieftains body. Falling back towards Ludwiga she keep her eyes on Geist for how'd he'd react. He was a wild card, but even he had his options.
Cheville restrained her self from trying to tend to the Chieftain, though she did feel that some how he could been infected by the vile form of the Meta. Still she focused on what she could handle at the moment. Her battle with Geist was something she had to take serious now, and she couldn't let the Chieftain become a hindrance to her. So she shot Ludwiga with her pistol and release her from her sealed form. Cheville was ready to show that she wasn't some low class Shaman or mage to both the arrogant moon folk of the Chieftains pack, and anyone else who questioned her powers. Ludwiga would take the Chieftain and step back, opening her wings to fly off back towards the village.
"Come on Geist, Let use finish this. You win the village might just be yours and the rest of GearBolt Scums for the picking." Cheville would say this in the same icy tone as before, but with more of a calm undertone now. She'd come back to her element, the Void.
