Kyler giggled at the smaller boy's voice, "Yes... Their names are Tui and La..." Kyler began to play with the toddler's hair, "So what's your name..? My name is Kyler..."

Mischa purred softly at the hands running through his hair and gently wrapped a tentacle around the older boy's wrist, giggling. "I is Mischa~ My brudder is Edes! He say lots o' good dings about you, Kyler-big brudder!"

Feeling that a tentacle-like touch was around his wrist, Kyler smiled, but was taken aback as he said that Edes was his brother, "Eh..? Like... What kind of things..?" Tui and La moved to cover the two like a dome, and they started vibrating, and petting the both of them.

Cody smiled and nodded to Edes, all anger and irritation melting away at the very sight of the boy. "Okay." In one smooth move, the boy gently pulled Edes out onto the ballroom floor. Deftly moving his hands and guiding the other boy's, the patience spawn was soon leading the other. He wouldn't tell anyone, or even admit to it, but he had been watching the older couple dance and had managed to at least get down most of the moves. Or so he thought but hey, being half a head taller than Edes had to count for something right?

Celi's lips parted into yet another smile as she spoke, "That sounds absolutely marvelous." she said, the sincerity in her voice genuine. "It certainly would be nice for us to get a break, even if our children are perfect little angels." she gazed into his eyes for a moment, leaning her head on his shoulder.
"You make me feel very calm and serene, it's relaxing." she complimented.
"Ya should read ta me lots. I like books lots, and mother reads to me an' stuff but I just want an excuse ta see you." he said with a smile before hearing what the young girl had to say next, looking over at the buffet.
"Cookies! I love cookies let's go get some Europa!" he said, grabbing her hand as he began to walk. He made sure not to pull her though, that was just rude. He smiled and laughed, excited to get a little snack. After all, dancin' was hard when you were little!

Tony smiled back, unafraid of he eye contact, and gave a little humming sound when he felt the woman's cheek on his shoulder. That was very nice. Very, very nice.
"I'm glad you think so," he smiled, speaking softly and changing to the usual step-and-sway, "I wish more people thought that way. You're...calming to me as well." And he had never had it before, but that wasn't something you said to a girl.
Europa just laughed and followed Pippin to the table, putting two cookies on a tiny plate for him and two on another tiny plate for her. She gave Pippin his first before nibbling her own. Napkins were an afterthought, when she realized that licking crumbs from her lips was probably not the most ladylike thing to do.
"Look, look," she said softly, bending to Pippin's height and pointing to their parents. How cute!

Celi felt quite refreshed, with her head leaning on him. Everything about him was wonderful, even the little things. He was a handsome man for sure, with a very calm personality, was easy to get along with, and very pleasant to be around in general. He even smelled good.
"Why thank you." she said with a flattered smile as they swayed. She felt very happy, knowing that Pippin was in good hands with Europa and she was in very good hands as well at the moment. It was nice to have someone sweet like Anthony, she really had grown to appreciate it even with the little time they had spent together.
Pippin bit at his cookies, grinning and wiping his mouth on his sleeve before he remembered how bad of manners that was and rushed back for a napkin. He grabbed two, handing one to Europa as she pointed in the direction of their two parents.
"Aww, they're cute. I like when dey look all happy like that." the boy said with a satisfied tone as he took another bite of the treat. "Your daddy's really nice, the only time she smiles like dat is when she's wit me." the boy said, not meaning for it to sound like he was the only thing that made his mother happy besides this moment.
"We're lucky we ran inta each other." he pointed out, obviously more than satisfied with their meeting.

"You're welcome," Anthony said softly, feeling a little guilty. She didn't know more of him than he willingly showed. There was so much more to him, and so deeply ingrained. She'd likely leave like the rest. It would be best to hold the big reveal off for a while.
"You're welcome any time. If the far right window is lit, I'm home. The far left, I'm not. Neither or both? Well, that would ruin the surprise." Taking a bit of a risk, he kissed Celi on the temple just above her ear.
Europa nodded, biting into her cookie and swaying foot to foot to the music.
"We are," she agreed, taking Pippin's hand and leading him to a table, "Maybe they'll go on dates."

Celi felt her cheeks get a bit pink, blushing from Anthony's tiny kiss on her temple. "You're very sweet, did you know that?" the woman said, placing a careful hand on the cheek that wasn't shrouded by hair.
"I do like surprised, I must admit. And I'd love to visit you more often..." not just sometime, she had made sure to add the word often. The man was charming, everything a woman could ask for. Why wouldn't she want to see him again?
Seeing Europa's feet moving Pippin imitated her, only tapping his foot instead. He was a bit off on the beat at first, but got the hang of it after a while.
"I hope so. That would be neat. An' I think mother would be reawwy happy and stuff too." he nodded his head, approving of the idea. He thought that it certainly wasn't an impossible feat, if anything it was highly likely.

Anthony suddenly stopped, as if Celi might feel something different on that side of his face (which was absurd) and pulled away slightly to look down at her. Ever so gently, he removed her hand.
"I've heard that before, yes," he said, voice going soft. He held Celi's hand in both of his and then gave it a brief kiss.
"You're very kind."
Europa, meanwhile, wrinkled her nose. Oh, right. Last week a little kid had seen Daddy push his hair back, and he'd run for his momma. That really wasn't a good thing. Daddy was already sensitive about his face.
"Maybe," she nodded, "Maybe not."

Mischa cuddled against Kyler, giggling and moving so that he was standing.
"You tentacles funny!! Ooh! Wan dance wif Mischa? We have good time!!"

This.. Was definitely unexpected, but more than welcomed. Everything around the two seemed to melt away, and all that was left was just himself, and his love.. That seemed to be happening alot lately..
One hand was on his waist, the other held his hand just ever so tenderly, and they spun elegantly on the dance floor.
"Cody... I love you.."

Cody smiled, glad that his skills class hadn't been a complete waste of time. At least now he knew generally how to dance and, by copying another, managed to learn another way to dance and impress Edes. No, he wasn't a child of pride but making Edes feel loved and protected was one of the few things he made sure happened.
"I love you too Edes," he muttered, gently spinning Edes before pulling him close. It wasn't hard to tell that he had fallen hopelessly in love with the curly-haired spawn.
