I wish to assemble a good group of rp fighters that can spar with one another and work as a squad to knock some of those HoH faggots down a few pegs to their rightful places.

I'm so tempted to jump into the tournament, but at the same time, thinking about fighting Ertai kinda scares me. (Go on, call me a wuss. rolleyes )

Ichi, that's defiantly deeper than just a simply screen issue. When something like that happens, it usually mean something in the hardware is screwed. My sister has had three laptops. The first two had screen issues and the last one had hardware issues that affected the screen. The latter one looked lust like your screen shot. I could be wrong, so don't hold me to it, but I'd defiantly have to say send that sick puppy to the vet.... or just put it down and get another one.

Why would you be scared of fighting me? I've fallen so far out of the game that I will most likely die in this tournament, and thats what I am light weight hoping on to be honest. By putting my character up on the line, I hope to attract the best that everyone hast to offer. If I die then so be it, that ends my saga of Ertai and perhaps I'll start a new character.

I just have the uncanny ability to use your post against you, I am a great reaction fighter, breaking it down in moments for the long term goal, your death and my victory.

I'm still not all too confident... but since this is supposed to be your last hurrah... and you are adamant about getting people to join..... and because I can't back down from a challenge..... I'll do it.

Ertai... I won't say I'm against this from happening, but the tournament lacks even the most basic of structures. You're pretty much allowing people to have at themselves with whatever they bring into this tournament.

Unless it's regulated in SOME form or another, you'll find that the first round of the tournament will not end for a long time, and with most of the fights needing judge calls - if there are even judges present at the time to enforce rules.

I know you think GTB and HoH are nothing but s**t - I think differently, but know that there isn't anything in the world to stop you from thinking this - but the reason why EVERYONE joins them is that they are fun, fair and regulated.

The only kind of people a tournament like this one attracts are people searching to use insanely overpowered characters and excuses to argue. In all honesty... your tournament won't amount up to the four running years of GTB, nor the five running years of HoH. By the way, all of which have attracted different people each year.

You've got to face the facts man... a tournament under the standards you are putting is like a tournament in any other thread in Barton Town. And well... it's probably doomed to fail halfway through.

I'd just consider rethinking the layout of the tournament, that's all.

Are you serious Fox? If you've even seen the amount of tournaments I've seen then you'll understand... Oh wait you haven't, you've only seen the HoH, GTB, and the Dark. That is it, you're tournaments are based off of bullshit cash prizes and lame antics. My tournament will be a one shot tournament and one shot only. I will never have a second tournament, this is for the best of the best in you as an RPer, this is a tournament for keeps. I'm putting up Ertai, if he dies he is dead, and I welcome all who try to take me up on that. I will show you how a true fighter fights. As it seems this tournament will be a melee only, maybe some magic or minor abilities, or I could blow the top off and let it go no-holds-bar, like it should be done. I know if it's anything goes you'll start bitching and complaining because all you know and ever have known is bullshit out of date abilities and skills.

Judges are only there to sort out posting issues, they don't need to choose the winner. You're either dead or gave up, that is it. This is a one shot tournament so fights will go on as long as they need to, I don't see the issue? If your fight is over then you wait until the next round. I don't care about paragraph sizes or how corny and gay you can make your post. This is about fighting, about the best fighters, if you feel confident that you'll survive then ******** join, other wise go enjoy your HoH and GTB.

I might lose my only character for well over a decade. I'm a winner, a survivor. I've played for keeps my entire time.

As for why people join the HoH and GTB... They're all the same people every year, that same network of friends, it's almost incestuous.
