Sighing Drake started to make his way inside the castle ruins. He had to admit that he had been a bit of a jerk and that apologizing to Flynn was best. What he was going to say though he had no idea. On his way there he had practiced about 20 lines... none of which sounded good and before he knew it he was standing in the door way of the room.
"Uhh... hi."

Flynn grinned as his tail started to wag, his ears flipping up. "Um.....Hi....." He bit the inside of his cheek. He was so happy to see his mate, but he had no idea what to say to him. "Did you...want to lay down with me?" He asked meekly, not sure if Drake would accept.

As soon as he walked in he could tell by his mates reaction that he was happy to see him.That was a good thing. He had thought that after what he had done he wouldnt want to talk to him.
"Yeah... sure." He trotted over then took a seat next to his mate. "Mm... look... what I said today... I didn't mean to make you upset."

Flynn smiled, "I know....you were just having a bad day....I was just trying to cheer you up, then i thought it might be best if i just left you alone...." He snuggled into his mate as he laid down, "Mmm...." He nuzzled against his warmth.

Drake frowned.
"Well im still sorry... I didn't mean to be an a**..." He looked at him. "I don't know what came over me..." He snuggled into him. "Im sorry..."

Flynn smiled, "Apology accepted...." He licked his mate's snout, then nuzzled his neck. "I don't like it when we fight...." He closed his eyes and snuggled further into Drake's fur. "But i do like making up..." He waggled his eyebrows.

"Ok..." He blushed a little as his mate licked him. "I don't ether... You just... do weird things some times..." He sighed then comically looked away. "Like that... and no... I don't think so. Not right now at least."

Flynn whined playfully, laying his head against his mate's back as he gave him the sad puppy dog eyes. No one could resist the puppy dog, especially Drake. Drake never could deny Flynn anything. And he knew it, and loved taking advantage of it.
"I do not do weird things...." He defended, "You just don't understand my logic." He stuck out his tongue.

Drake chuckled.
"Oh I think I understand your logic just fine." He rolled his eyes playfully. It was true after all he had known him since they were kits. He knew exactly how he acted. "You just think I don't"

Flynn licked his snout, "You know nothing..." He said teasingly as he laid his head on Drake's back and quickly fell asleep. Before he knew it he was waking up the next morning. He had only meant to take a nap, but obviously that had failed.
"Oh....crap!" He leapt up and looked out the window. "Is it already that late?!" Drake and himself were supposed to have brought back food for the upcoming celebration. "Drake....Drake!" He nudged his mate, "Wake the hell up!"

Drake of course was too busy snoring to even hear Flynn... that was until he was harshly kicked in the gut.
"Ah!" He shot up. "What?! what is so important that you had to hit me for?" He groaned in pain as he rolled over with this back to him. "Geeze... im still tired..." He yawned. "Go back to bed..."

"No....Drake....Get up...." He nudged his mate more harshly. "Do you want Altair coming in here looking for us wondering why there is no food to eat?" He glared comically at his mate, "Come on....The whole clan is probably waiting for us to come back with food....And I really don't want to piss anyone off."

He suddenly shot up.
"Oh crap!" He looked at Flynn. "Uhhh ok! Ok... don't panic... Don't panic!" He moved around in circles. "Think... Think Drake." If they didn't come back with food they would be such trouble. Looking after one another was one of the greatest tenets. The last thing he wanted was to upset Altair.
"Wait! I got it!" His head shop up. "Flynn... theres a passage that leads out of the ruins to the south of her. If we sneak out we can be back with food soon... assuming we can find it..."

"Yes, yes...i love your way of thinking..." He pointed a paw at his mate, "Come on....Let's get out of here before anyone sees us...." He ran for the door, poked his head out and looked around then looked back. "Coasts clear....come on...." He ran off down the hall heading for the secret passage way.

Drake smiled and nodded his head.
"See... I can come up with good ideas." He smiled as he followed him to the door. "Yeah... the last thing we want is to get caught by one of our brothers... or worse...the Seer..." He poked his head out as well then scuttled after his mate toward the passage.
