The merchant routes Fuyaa traveled did not provide the safety he desired. Occassionally the roads slip and overhead rocks fall on you. The cliffs themselves are barren and are very susceptible to landslides.

The rain itself hasn't ceased it's nagging and Fuyaa's shawl had seen it's full. His garbs are now heavily laden with rain water, fortunately he can hide his wings with the use of elven magic he learned from the Funuir's vizier herself. His wings should have been very wet by now.

After some hours of walking, the drenched warrior now stands to the very edge of Middletown itself. "Ah... now, an inn should make the day right for me..."

He mused over buildings and signs looking for the three letter heaven 'INN' on it. After some time looking he found one with a nice ring to it's name, he then felt for his pouch hidden in his garbs. "... $h!t... ", he said to himself. He just then realized how his currency is VERY DIFFERENT to this world's.

Rika was just about at the stairs when a dripping wet girl walked in. She had red hair and almost violet eyes. Rika turned. Her hair had almost dried from the lightnings running along her skin. The little lightnings faided.

Rika's hair settled now that the lightnings weren't causing static. It settled to lay flat, falling down past her hips. "Are you?..." Rika stammered, then stopped herself.

She recited the first two lines of the prophecy calmly. "A day will come our deed be done..." She waited for a reply when someone outside the door caught her eye.

Fuyaa didn't continue on. He sighed heavily and just stared at the large three letters at his front, I- N- N.

"How in the nine hells would I find money? I only wished money here just drops on the needy.", Fuyaa's shoulders began to lose strength.

To his surprise, a leather puch moved when he started moving his foot. It jingled and turned sideways revealing several shiny coins. His discouraged face now began to smile. "Oh, gods be praised!"

Just as when he was getting the money a spear pointed at his back. He immediately stopped and turned to who was pointing it. Town militia. The man with the spear thrusted it again to threaten him, "That will be for us thank you... now, you.. will be our guest."

Fuyaa raised his hands in surrender, "Great... just great..."

There was a jingle outside the door. En growled. Rika ran out, En close behind. The town militia was outside the Inn's front. There was a wet, forlorn looking traveler there also, hands up.

"Wait!" She ordered the militia. The stopped. "Girl, what do you want?" Demanded a soldier. Rika stopped, what would she tell them. An idea hit her.

"My brother sir!" She demanded. "Where are you taking my brother?!" She put on the face of a pleading little sister being parted from her only family. En played the part with her going to the boy and sitting at his feet affectionatly.

Rika's cold red eyes met the sergants telling him what she really wanted. Her cold eyes bore into his. He backed down. "Girl, take him." One of the men shoved the boy in her direction.

Rika blinked, it had worked... "Huh..." Rika shrugged looked at the boy who appeared to be an elf of some kind. "A day will come, our deed be done." Rika nodded to the tavern and turned. She walked in, the door swinging shut behind her; En passed through it.

"And... ", Fuyaa looked back towards the militia- they're already far away with the gold pouch he just found. Must be some thief dropped it there to make a good escape. He continued his question, "...who might you be?"

He looks in awe to the girl that saved his life from the clutches of the militia. 'This girl...', he thought '...I have this strange feeling about her.'

After recovering from the inbalance caused by push the rude militia made, Fuyaa stood up. "I... uh, sorry for my rudeness. I'm really sorry to have bothered you... I must be going, I couldn't afford the inn here."

He started to look back and walk slowly towards the inn door - his wet clothes are still dripping all over the place.

Rika was inside, sitting by the hearth, the fire crackled. She was wringing out her hair, dripping on the floor. She sighed and pushed it out of the way. En sat next to her.

"Fire, sit." Rika motioned to a chair across from this place. "So you see this tavern? You've seen it since you first found it? Before you saw me?" Rika bombarded him with those vital questions since he haden't responded to the first two lines of the prophecy.

Sachi found an almost empty table by the fire and sat in a chair, nodding politely to the other occupents- it wasn't he fault there weren't any other open seats. She wrung her hair out on to the hearth stone, and held her tongue.

Fuyaa stopped his walking, "look... I don't have any money to stay, okay? I don't want anymore of those militia men that came before."

He then continued his walking towards the door. But before he pushed it open he looked back at her, "Thanks."

The inn door swung open once again to take him to the rainy outside. His voice echoed through the whole tavern lobby singing some weird phrase - probably rain revelry... "torrid rains shalt fallen, demons awaken..."

From there he went to the inn's near corner and sulked at the narrow roof extension. At least this would keep him from totally soaked... until the rain ceases.

Rika looked at the red head who sat down. Rika nodded to her before standing and following the guy out.

Rika stomped out after him. She followed him and leaned against the wall under the hanging next to him. "It's not going to stop raining you know." She told him bluntly.

"A day will come, our deeds be done. The rain shall fall, the demons will crawl." Rika said, reciting the profecy.

Fuyaa turned and saw who just walked in by... "You really are stubborn aren't you.", he almost raised his voice. "... heh, ...you won't understand. Come near, you'll get wet."

He then took a small scroll out from his watery cloak and opened it in front for her to see. There are runic inscriptions there that made the paper somewhat important as he always takes a good eye for any raindrops that dares befall on it.

He then started to read the lines, "Thine day shalt come, deedeth be done...", the read lines began emitting a faint glow, "...torrid rains shalt fallen, demons doth waken~"

He stopped there, "...You also knew the prophecy."

Warm and drying out, Sachi closed her eyes and stretched, relaxing into the chair and a sleepy, lazy, alert state.

"Some say my stubborness is my best feature." Rika retorted and walked over to stand under the overhang with him.

Rika eyed the scroll warily, ready to jump back if he tried anything. Rika's again wet hair hung limp, the water dripping off of it making the plip plop sounds of rain.

"Yes, I've known of the prophecy almost my whole life. Only recently did I decide to persue it." Rika explained, her red eyes looking out into the haze of rain. "They sound different, but they are the same."

Fuyaa rolled back the scroll he was holding. He couldn't suffer any more accidents should the scroll be wet by raindrops. "I, however, don't know anything about it... but was charged to care this scroll as this is what I've been doing best this late years."

Fuyaa moved his shawl forward to keep drops from getting to his face, and also to keep warmth closer. "It'd be best if I go where you're heading."

"Like I said, you just left it." Rika snapped. She pointed out into the rain toward the Middle Town Tavern. "That's were all those mentioned in the prophecy are meeting you dope." Rika scolded.

She shoved off the wall she leaned on and headed out in the rain back toward the tavern. She turned back for a moment. "Only prophecied are the only ones outside this land to see it, so they don't make you pay." With that, she went back to the tavern.

"... how come you didn't told me that before?", Fuyaa shrugged as he followed the girl.

Before he entered the tavern, Fuyaa made sure his clothes don't drip out that much by squeezing out water soaked at it's hems. He then entered and immediately went near the fireplace. There he sat down on the floor and extended his arms to feel up the warmth.
