Red7227 if seven deadly sins wins, i definatly have good ideas for that one That one, I think, would be able to have the boldest, most original rooms. It would be lovely, I think!

Hey loves! I already sent a PM to Blissy, but time to get you guys started~
It seems pretty obvious to me that the rooms are to be Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, Greed, and Sloth.
I had three questions:
1. Do you all agree? 2. Should the main room be one of the sins or should we invent another room? 3. How do you feel about incorporating the 7 Heavenly Virtues to help keep this thing PG-13? ♥

1. Seven Deadly Sins definitely should include the common ones >.< 2. I think that the rooms should focus on their sin, but have a setting that reflects it. Maybe we could work the rings of hell into the plot line? 3. The seven virtues would be a nice, but we'd have to use it right so that the plots aren't just the sins vs. virtues. We'd also have to figure out if the virtues would be room hosts along with the sin (assuming that sins would be embodied in the room host), or if they will be floating characters like Eris was last year.

I would like to leave religion out of this as much as possible. So I'm going to suggest that, while a rings of Hell plot would be really crazy awesome, it would not be suitable for mass appeal, and probably cause some issues.
As for virtues, here's what I was thinking. There's gonna be a room host and a second in command room host that works with them. I was thinking one could be the sin, one could be the virtue, since the virtues and sins correspond. Some could be directly vs. each other, some could be siblings or something, some could be in kind of love/hate relationships like the Sentinel and Overseer, and some could even be in love. Stuff like that. It would vary by room, but provide a little balance. ♥

I agree with Angel. I think having the virtues as co-hosts could make for some very interesting conflict in the plot.

I know I'm not on this committee, but I have an idea that I think would work rather well for this theme.
Have you ever heard of The Vision of Piers Plowman? It is an allegorical medieval story about a man named Will. (Will as in human will. Piers Plowman is a major character, but the story revolves around Will.) In the story, he is searching for "Do Well" or basically how to live a good life. In one part of the story he encounters The Seven Deadly Sins going to confession. Each sin is a person, and they give account of what they are and who they hang out with, although they aren't exactly repentant. I was thinking that we could tie the rooms together by Will trying to find his way to Do Well, but getting trapped and attacked by the sins in each room. We could leave out confession and Catholicism, and still have a rather good unifying theme. I think that Will would make for a great unifying host character. As for the theme of the host room, I think that using the Field of Folk where Will starts out would be a great idea. What do you think?
@Angelishia, I agree that using the original seven deadly sins would be best in order to avoid confusion.

To answer Angel's questions...
1. Agreed
2. It really depends. Personally, I would invent another room, but don't mind me, because I'm just sneaking in from the advertising committee. XD 3. I like the idea of including the virtues along with the sins. Balance! <3
