Valkyrie looked a bit amusedly after the darting figure. She touched her wing gingerly, it was very sore. She hoped that she could fly again soon, and that the storm would pass.

Crystalsong flew out into the blizzard. This time was not just for fun, there was an intent, a mission, so she could not go high and allow herself to enjoy the snow blindness. Instead she swooped, and stayed low to the ground, landing when she spotted the things she needed. Northern Carrots were good in stew, and she lucked into a stash of chilled meats. She found some mushrooms as well. Sewer stew it would be, then. She found Ice Thorn and Gold Clover, both key ingredients in making some really good healing potions. She found some crystal vials from an over turned merchant caravan, and used some of it's cloth to form a bag. she shoved wood from it as well to use in her fire, then grabbed everything up in said bag, and flew back to the cave. It took her nearly an hour to complete her quest, and land back where she had started from. She opened her mouth to drop the bag. "Food, and the necessary materials for making a potion of healing."

For an hour, Valkyrie had been alone. She had settled back and relaxed. Breathing deeply, she had tried to keep her wing as still as possible. Thoughts swirled through her head, like snowflakes seeking somewhere to fall to.
But after an hour, she was glad to not be alone. Even if her companion was quite unusual. "Thank you. I...appreciate what you've done-are doing for me."

She shook her head, snowflakes glittering in her hair. "No need to thank me, It's kinda fun actually putting my skills to god use." she opened the bag and started making a camp fire. "This will warm you."

Valkyrie felt the heat on her skin. "But you didn't have to, that's why I'm thanking you." She gave another appraising look at Crystalsong.

She gave a small shrug, not wanting to argue. Once the camp fire was ready, she set about getting things set to cook. Being busy for a reason was nearly so much fun as flying alone in the storm. Still, nothing had beat flying wild in the blizzard with that other pony. She wondered again if she'd ever run into him. That storm had been FUN. She wanted to go flying with him again.

"Sewer stew?" That was quite an interesting name. "It doesn't have...rats does it?" Valkyrie hated rats with a passion.
