The nurse frowned turning to Roxas and patting him a little on the back trying to sooth him. “This is not your fault. If anything it is the immature bullies at this school’s fault.” She told Roxas before Axel started to stir on the table behind them. He groaned opening his eyes at the bright light above him. “A-Am I dying? “ Axel asked looking up at the light in a low and weak voice. The nurse quickly turned around to help Axel knowing he needed it more at the moment. “Can you move anything?” She asked watching him rustle his feet a little and one arm. “Everything, but my right arm I think, everything hurts...” He mumbled blinking slowly as his head slowly tipped down. “Axel, stay with me, don’t fall sleep okay?” She asked quickly seeing that he was starting to drift off again.

Axel winced at the loud yelling. “W-what was that?” He asked completely confused by the fact he could tell it was someone talking to him, but he couldn’t follow the words. It was like they were talking a different language, because his brain couldn’t process the words in its condition. “R-Roxas, I didn’t fight back I promise, even when they wanted me too, I didn’t I prom-“ Axel tried wanting Roxas to forgive him for the fight with Zexion. He wanted to be able to walk up to him again and talk to him again. He was trying so hard and he was so close now all this ******** it up for him… Sadly in his weak state, he overdid by trying to apologize to Roxas and passed out again. “Axel… oh I’m sorry kids, he’s just not in a good position to be talking right now. He is too hurt; He needs to go to the hospital with one of the school officials immediately.” The nurse told them softly looking at them both get so upset by the fact that Axel was out again.

“I can’t say you can go, either of you. You’ll have to ask the school officials accompanying Axel to the hospital.” The Nurse said with a frown as the assistant principal and behavior counselor walked in. “What happen to him Nurse Joy?” The behavior counselor asked moving straight to Axel. “He got into a fight, but I’m afraid he needs higher medical attention than I can give him.” Ms. Joy told the counselor before the assistant principal left to call for an ambulance to come to the school. “Who are you two?” The counselor asked looking over at the two boys who seemed to be pretty attached to the redhead on the table.

Sora was quiet while Riku was speaking even though he moved into Riku for comfort. After a moment of silence, he finally spoke up. “I don’t know if I should be mad at Roxas for getting Axel not to fight like that. He literally didn’t even defend himself. How is that a good thing? There was so much blood too.” Sora said feeling his stomach churned at the last sentence. His face literally going a little green at the thought of Axel’s face.

Ms. Joy having gone to make sure that Demyx and Roxas were okay a minute or so after they leave heard the cry from Demyx. “Demyx, what’s wrong with Roxas? Help me get him up, and to my office.” She said quickly. They weren’t that far from the nurse’s office seeing as the school built it down the hall so kids didn’t have to walk so far to get sent home. Sora, who was a little more down the hall then they were, heard the cry and yell and turned back, seeing Roxas collapse. “Roxas, No” Sora said running over. Sora got there a little after the nurse and stopped Demyx from picking him. “I carry an inhaler because most of our family has asthma” Sora said getting his out of his back pocket and getting Roxas to breath in the medicine seeing as this wasn’t the first time Roxas collapsed. “Roxas you need to go home so Auntie can make sure you are okay?” Sora told him carefully knowing Roxas was hurting, but over stressing himself wasn’t going to help.

Sora frowned hearing Roxas say such hateful things. “Roxas don’t ever think that way. You don’t know Axel very well yet. If you present a serious front, he takes you serious. He just took your warning against fighting a little too serious. It was just a miscommunication. Axel doesn’t blame you, he doesn’t hate you, but I don’t think he’ll be too happy if he finds out that you are blaming yourself for his actions, because whether you admit it or not. Axel chose for whatever reason not to fight back.” Sora told Roxas firmly not wanting to fight with him about this. He wanted Roxas to know he wasn’t debating about the matter. He was right.

The nurse sighed before hurrying back to her office seeing the principal opening the side door to the school next to her office and letting paramedics in. They got Axel and loaded him into the ambulance before the nurse and the assistant principal left leaving the counselor behind. The counselor turned moving down the hall seeing Zexion. Zexion smirked a little. “As promised” He said handing the counselor money for telling Roxas and Demyx they couldn’t go and see Axel. Because Zexion had literally planned this all out just to make them suffer. Now with his plan over with, he moved to the stairwell and when upstairs to his classroom, happy as could be.

The nurse at the front desk told him the room, but told Roxas not to overstress Axel, because he was still really fragile. Axel was also heavily medicated so he might not response will to stress. Axel’s hospital room was literally filled with get well soon balloons, stuffies, and flowers from all kinds of people. Now being doctored up a little more, Axel really didn’t look at bad. He had a really bad mark on the right side of his forehead, his lip was busted, he had a few scratches on his face, and his face a little black and blue but really that didn’t look half as bad as his face did yesterday all swollen up. Though now that Axel was in the white hospital gown, you could see all the dark bruising along his arms and what wasn’t covered up by the blanket. At that particular moment, he was actually starting to dose off from waking up because the pain was coming back.
