Oh, I would LOVE to be a mentor. I do it all the time in the guilds I'm in. I also have a couple role-play guides that I could contribute as well, considering those that wrote them will agree to it, and I love to help people.
Seriously, I have a role-playing academy in one of my guilds where I pick a person to RP with me one on one and after each post I critique it and in OOC brackets explain to them something to look at improving on, and where they've done well, etc. A great big growing process.
I do generally stick to Lit. RPing though. Just because asterisks bother the heck out of me and there's no real room for expanding posts or exploring character depth and growth when the posts are all "action+ dialog" sad

maybe when the thread is done what we could do is have each person who's a mentor supply a short bio on what sorts of RPs they do, their favored genres, and an example of their RP style so people can pick the mentor they want OR just so people can keep an eye peeled for that person if it's someone that appeals to them.

I think that's a lovely idea. I was playing around with the idea in my head, and now that someone else has mentioned it I'll definitely add it.
