She smiled somewhat weakly as Nico wheeled off. Well, there goes her new friend. Now she was... alone... with the prince. That made her a little nervous, since, well, he was the prince! Just looking at him made her want to blush. Thankfully she was able to avoid that by glancing shyly at her knees while she listened to Nathan's smooth voice. "Your brother is a good kid." She managed to mumble when he spoke about the arts and crafts he did. She wondered if they could do crafts together. When she unpacked everything, she'd have to have him come over for a craft day.
Her mind was halted when Nathan mentioned he rode horses and did fencing. Could he BE Anything other than a prince? When he mentioned the french restaurant, Nari lost the battle against the blood rushing to her cheeks and she did blush. "N... no, I haven't heard of it." She shouldn't be surprised about what she has or hasn't heard of. She'd only been back in the city a couple days, and she was still young when she'd left, so maybe it shouldn't be such a surprise that she didn't know about it. "We haven't even found all of our kitchen boxes yet... We've had takeout since we got here because we can't cook yet." She blurted out in her fluster.

Could she have made this any easier? Nathan's gray eyes watched the rising flush to Nari's cheeks the way one might watch a balloon drifting lazily into the sky. She was so naive. So simple and sweet. It was rather refreshing having someone so clearly innocent falling into his lap. Like a pet kitten. Her little stammer was about as adorable as a purr even. Nathan leaned forwards and shifted his hand in an attempt to lay it gently over Nari's own as he made a small sympathetic sound.
"Tsk. Such a diet must get old and unappetizing very quickly." He murmured in response to her blurting. If her hand was beneath his own, he'd move his thumb in a gentle stroke as a smile widened his lips. "You must let me take you there. As a sort of welcome to Kings City of course. Perhaps we can go tomorrow night? I know where you live, I can pick you up around...say seven?" Nathan waited for Nari to reply before pursuing the issue of their dinner. He did not want to overwhelm her with arrogance by assuming she would just bend to his slightest whisper of a whim...though it would have been nice.

Nari almost jerked her hand away when he placed his own atop it, but she relaxed and smiled at him. "I'm sure it will..." Her voice was quiet as she watched his thumb gently move across the back of her own hand. He has big hands. And they're soft. All princes must have soft hands. Nari's thoughts wandered a moment while Nathan asked to take her out.
"Tomorrow...?" She actually had to think about that a moment before she shook her head softly. "I'm not sure that tomorrow will be any good for me." Nari was extremely apologetic. She didn't like the idea of turning down her new friend, a prince no less. "Maybe... this weekend would be better. I do have your house number now, after all. It's on the machine at home. I can call you and let you know when it's good. Would that be ok?" She really hoped he wasn't offended that she couldn't instantly clear her schedule for him, but moving was hard, and with having to get ready to start school, plus gymnastics would be starting soon... and she did kind of want to spend more time with Nathan and Nico. Though a glance up into Nathan's eyes was a clear indication that heir dinner would not be an affair for 3.
Oh god, did she have a dress? She needed to go shopping before this date, so she could look her best if she was to be seen with a prince!

Nathan was aware of that slight twitch in Nari's hand. After just a few lingering moments he withdrew his touch from her. He did not want to make her uneasy,, and he suspected that if he pursued her with such forwardness she would probably pull away. That was fine, Nathan was more then willing to take his time to get what he wanted from the new girl. His smile never dimmed, even when she would apologetically explain that the next night was not good for her.
The mere fact she attempted to change the date to the weekend without waiting for him to suggest another night was sign enough that she would have said yes if she had not previous plans. Everyone tended to make plans, so Nathan was hardly upset. Instead ha gave a small nod of his head. "This weekend sometime sounds excellent. Just give me a little forewarning so I may call ahead and reserve us a table. I rather like the one on the patio next to the small hummingbird fountain if I can get it. It has a lovely view of the garden outside." He explained with a small shrug and chuckle. Ah. This was so much fun, and a refreshing change to all those stuck up girls that did not know how to appreciate his charm. As an addition, he'd be able to plan out something extra now too.... Hmmm...

She was relieved that Nathan wasn't offended that his idea had to be postponed. So she smiled more confidently at him as he moved his hand from hers. "I'll make sure to call as soon as I know when I'm free. So we can make sure the date is good for both of us."
This was kind of surreal. She hadn't even been back in town long, and already had a date? It was enough to make her slightly giddy. "Nathan, you don't need to go to any extra trouble on my account." If reserving a special table was extra effort, she didn't want him to do it. Nari was a pretty simple styled person and didn't want anyone to go out of their way for her. She was about to say something else when she thought she heard the phone ring. She blinked a couple times, feeling it was her mom, finally.
She was right. It was time for her to go.

Nathan had been about to respond to Nari's sweet modesty. He was so enjoying himself, that when the phone rang he felt a bit sad. Now the fun was to end. His head tilted towards where Sampson picked the phone up and spoke quietly into the receiver.
"Ah, I think that may be your mother" He murmured while watching Sampson nodding his head. Nathan turned back to Nari and formed a faint smile. "It was a pleasure having you visit. Perhaps next time you come by, if it is not raining, I can take you for a ride on the grounds." Sampson set the receiver down and crossed over to the sitting pair.
"Miss Nari? Your mother has returned home. If you would gather your things I shall have the driver take you home now." He politely spoke.
Nathan nodded his head and stood from his seat. "I shall await your call Nari. Good eve." To top off his farewell, Nathan half bowed to the girl.
