Eires heart
WellzY
I hate, hate hate hate hate hate the Irish accent with the constant rising intonation at the end of every freaking setance.
ARGH!
ARGH!
Nah, don't. I'm only messing. I don't have a rising intonation. I don't know any Irish accent that does. Well possibly the N. Irish one, but they're all turds up there.
What accent do you have anywhoo?
Actually on topic: We say Chips; Coke, 7up, etc; zed; ... hmm ... colour ... and in Ireland ... well me ... we've got gutteral pronounciation. Kinda like German, what with being one of the harder Celtic languages.
For example, I would say Eye-ur-land rather than Aye-are-land, for Ireland. Or however you try to type it in an America accent.
even the English pronunciation is different to ours.
Don't like the English accent. ^_^;
Aagghhh, I hate it when I hear some Americans saying IIIIIreland or IIIIIIIraq or he was IIIIIItalian.. I mean what the hell?!?
Hee hee, I think even when Irish people go into Mcdonalds etc. thay ask for chips rather than fries...
I also hate that stage Irish accent that says 'top of the morning t'ya'.. I have never heard any Irish person say that or have such an accent.
I love the Scottish accent and I like French people speaking English.
We had some Canadians in our school talking to us for a day and it seemed like all the stuff they said ended on a high as if they were asking a question or else they finished with "and stuff like that". It was funny, before that I hadn't distinguished much between Canadian and American accents.
