Shen sighed as the rumbling in the ground got more and more pronounced. He was just trying to have a bit of a lie in, and this female was ruining it. He stood, yawned, even stretched a little, then plodded forward and got out of the way of the log just in time before it touched him.
He stood there, watched it roll a bit more. "Huh. Good thing there's so many trees." And right as he finished speaking the log slammed into one of said trees, firmly halting it. Definetly good, otherwise Techno would probably hurt a lot more from a sudden stop at higher speeds.

Techno couldn't help but scream as the log went rolling down the hill. That had to be the dumbest thing she had ever done. Oh yes just stand with the log stuck on your top half. You wouldn't go tumbling at all. She If she would ever get out of this there was no way she was going to go crawl into another log again! She did her best to try and hang on wile the log went rolling. The next thing she knew the log slammed into one of the trees stopping her. She moaned as she lay there.
"Help..." She called in a quiet tone. She was dizzy and felt sick to her stomach. Not to mention she was still stuck.

While Shen didn't precisely rush over to the log, he did move at a pace faster than his normal, lazy amble. He paused beside the log, looking down at the rough bark surface where he was pretty sure Techno's head way, according the positon of her rear. "You okay? Nothing broken or seriously injured?"

She didn't made any make any motion to move. She was in pain but she was sure nothing was broken. She moaned as she placed her head on a paw. This had to be the worst trip she had ever had. Not only did she get into trouble she completely embarrassed herself in front of the male she had met the other... and not a bad looking one at that. Even though he had some problems... or SHE thought. She was sure he though she was a complete moron... and was surprised when she heard his voice. She was sure he had left.
"Mm... No i'm not ok... im stuck... but other then that im fine..."

Shen examined the log Techno was in, paying close attention to exactly how she was jammed in and what parts of her were free. "Tch, how troublesome," he muttered, then moved back to the area where her head was. "How are your back legs, think if you had something to hook them over you could hang on? Or are your muscles too tired?"

"Mm... Hey... Are you still out there?" She called to him. He didn't talk much so she wasn't sure if he was still around. Of course when he spoke again she couldn't help but feel relief. "Hm?" She raised an eyebrow. "Yeah of course." She scoffed. "If you think something like his is going to tire me out so easily you have another thing coming." She shifted. "Im not tired at all. I asume you have an idea if you asked me that. Whatever it is i'll do it. I just want to get out of this log..."

Shen nodded. "Alright then," he said, "when you feel something supporting your legs just hold on as tight as you can. Maybe try to pull yourself out a little if possible, but mostly just hold on."
Shen moved back to the end of the log that had Techno's rump sticking out. He lowered himself to the ground and carefully crawled forward, then stood up so that Techo's back feet were over his back. He would have prefered to have them on eiter side of his head though. Embarassing position aside, it would have given Techno greater stability to hold on to him and he would have more power to pull her out. But she was too far in the log to make that an option, so feet over his back it was.
Once he felt like Techno had a firm enough grip he slowly began to move sideways, leaning against the iron bands of her feet and pushing so that she was being pulled out of the log.

"Right... I can do that... that doesn't sound too hard." Techno started as she sat there waiting till she felt something supporting her. She had been expecting a log or something so she was really surprised to feel fur. She gave a comical blush. "So exactly what is your plan?" He didn't say anything and when she felt him pulling she figured that was his plan. After a few moments she felt herself pop out of the long. From the force she ened up going backwards and fell against Shen.

Shen had guessed something like this would happen, given how tightly Techno was wedged in the log. As soon as he felt the pressure from her legs drop he made his body go limp. He probably landed in a more heap-ish fashion that he would have supporting himself, but at least this way there were no bumps or bruises. Just a.....really heavy weight on top of him.
"You mind," came Shen's muffled voice somewhere below Techno's belly. "Call me spoiled, but I've become accustomed to breathing."

The next thing Techno knew she was on top of the male. She hand't meant too but she couldn't help the way she landed. Sighing she was glad to be out of the log though. She then glanced away when she heard the muffled voice of the male below her. Sarcastic as ever. Though she guessed she should get off of him before he threw even more of a fit. That and she should get off the one who had managed to help her.
"Oh... sorry..." She got off of him.

Shen stood up, shaking himself lightly so his midnight blue fur fell back in order, and regarded Techno with his silvery eyes. He looked as bored and ready to endulge in some lazy activity as ever.
"Sure thing. Just don't make a habit of it, it's too troublesome to keep having to rescue people from logs," he responded, half expecting this to set the female off on him again in another fit of temper.

Once she got off the male she sat down and shook out her fur. Being stuck in the log for a wile seemed to mess it up and ruffle it all, though shaking it out only seemed to help a little. She sighed then looked over at Shen and almost smiled. He seemed ready to continue on with his lazy life. It was almost funny... she had never met such a lazy fox. She was sure he was the laziest fox she had ever met. With that she tilted her head to the side when he mentioned the fact that he seemed to be pulling females from logs a lot.
"Just how many females have your rescued from logs?" She couldn't help that it came out as a chuckle.

Shen made a grumpy face. "I said people, not females," he said. "I think I'd rather rescue males, actually. They tended to just thank you and wander off without pestering you with a thousand questions." Coming from him it wasn't so much an insult as it could have been from another, just an inevitable part of him that always made that comparison of genders.
Of course that didn't stop it from insulting others, but Shen felt that it only proved his point further when a female began protesting, and just did his best to vanish as quickly as possible.
He yawned, still kinda sleepy and not at all awake yet. "Anyway you're probably the first person I've ever had to rescue, log or not."

She frowned then turned away. "Well geez... ok..." She stood. "You don't have to be such a jerk about it." She snapped. "No wonder no one wants to be around you. You just insult them the first chance you get with out a care in the world if it hurts them or not. All I was doing was thanking you and trying to start a conversation and you throw it back in my face!" She turned her back on him. "Yeah well now im regretting it." was her response to what he said about her being the first person he had saved. She then swatted his face with her tail fluff. "Your nothing but a rude self absorbed jerk who could give a crap about anyone else." She then started to walk off.

Shen just shrugged and looked upward at the sky. It was a sheer contrast to the storm yesterday, all bright blue with fat white puffs drifting by in a lazy fashion. He found himself envying them. Of course he had every intention of letting Techno walk away if that's what she wanted. He wasn't going to apologize for being himself, and if it made her mad he wasn't going to force his company on her. That just made for more trouble, and being an essentially lazy creature he'd rather avoid it all.
"Maybe you're right," he said aloud, talking to himself more than the female. "I'm lazy and I'm not that great with people." He sighed, eyes still fixated on the clouds and still speaking to himself. "Words are only insults if you let them get under your skin."
