It was a bit of a dizzying ride, he couldn't blame her. But he was so used to riding, he didn't get dizzy anymore. He followed her into the cafe and froze at the counter. A familiar presence made him look over at a silvery blond haired male. Angel. he realized. It wasn't that he hated angels but being a demon, he had issues with them. He also had personal issues with them, being around them brought back bad memories. Turning his attention back to Aspen and the girl behind the counter, he waved a dismissive hand. "Put your wallet away." he said to Aspen. Pulling out his own wallet, he already put the money on the table-- paying for Aspen, then he shooed the girl off to finish Aspen's order. He slipped his wallet back into his pocket.
Leaning his back against the edge of the counter, he tried to ignore the fact that an angel was around and tried to focus on Aspen and the world around him. The girl behind the counter returned a moment later with everything Aspen ordered and set it on the counter. Most of the booths were empty, leaving a wide varity of places to sit. ๏ธพใจ Do you run and hide or face the truth? ัฒัฒฯน - โ Hurtful words from my enemies of the last five years. Aspen looked at Sin then held her hands out, "I'm fine." When he told her to put her wallet away, she frowned, but didn't protest, and free ride and free food. Times two. She forgot about him feeding her his blood earlier. Aspen frowned again, now she felt like she was mooching off of him. When the lady came back with her food, Aspen led Sin to a booth next to the wall on the opposite side of where the other man was. She set the food down and looked at Sin. "You didn't want anything? Here, you can have one of my croissants. She wanted to give him something, but it seemed anything that she gave him he could either do without or just didn't want. Aspen dipped her croissant in grape jelly then sipped her apple juice. "Ah, that's good." She giggled, Apple juice and Orange juice was her favorite drink other than alcohol. "So, thinking about teaching me how to ride?" Aspen asked then peeked outside the cafe at Jezebel.

What do you do when the world comes down on you? ๏ธฝ She might have felt like she was mooching, he just did it because he wanted to. Sinister watched Aspen grab her things and followed her into a booth. He slid on the opposite side of her. For a moment, he watched her before putting his head down in his arms. Hearing her question and then offer one of the croissants, he shook his head slightly but didn't lift it. He couldn't remember the last time that he ate-- this morning maybe?-- but he couldn't work himself up to be hungry now. Sinister heard her giggle and lifted his head slightly, only his eyes visible but just barely. Strands of long black hair covered his eyes, forcing him to look out between the dark hair. His crimson eyes looked almost eerie.
So, she was really bent on learning how to ride then? At first, he hadn't been sure that she was completely serious but it seemed that she was. Glancing at Jezebel, he sighed and sat up straight, his whole face visible. "You sure that you really want to learn? It isn't completely easy." Sinister was willing to teach her, if she was willing to learn. Though, he wasn't exactly sure that he trusted her with Jezebel. No way in hell would he teach anyone to ride by using Jez. Which left him with asking one of his servants. Or just buying her one. Sinister sat back in his seat, watching Aspen eat with dark eyes. He'd ask a servant first before even thinking of buying her one. Those things didn't come easy. His eyes were blank, leaving it hard to tell or even guess what he was thinking. ๏ธพใจ Do you run and hide or face the truth? ัฒัฒฯน - โ Hurtful words from my enemies of the last five years. Olivia wasn't quite attune to having another person to drink coffee with, she had had a sudden spur of the moment spontaneousness, usually only happening when she was comfortable. But thinking about it, she was still a bit uncomfortable, but perhaps she was getting a good feeling from this boy. Her judgement wasn't the best, but it was close enough. There was something about him that intrigued her, just the way his demeanor was, and the way he spoke.
Olivia also found his startled look amusing, but a bit confusing. What was shocking? Her smile? She had to admit, she received that reaction more frequently than she liked, but from him, it just intrigued her more.
Following Loren's lead, the blonde walked beside him to the counter. The two girls who were chit-chatting at the counter stopped, and one of them turned to Loren... specifically. She was observing him, and she appeared around eighteen, perhaps around his age. Olivia blinked, her face showing a nonchalantness, however inside she felt a bit... upset? Why would she be upset? Glancing at Loren, he seemed to not aware, and turned the attention towards her for her to order first.
"Pumpkin Spice Latte." She stated bluntly, folding her arms across her chest, her eyes a little more icy than usual. Glancing back at Loren, a noticeably change of she said in a small voice, "I'll pay."
Her eyes wandered elsewhere, to the entrance, and found herself looking at two individuals who just entered the large cafe. The girl was pretty and attractive, but the male had an eerie air. She snorted.
''Hm. Looks like a hooligan.' Olivia thought harshly.lalalalalaโฉlala โซ lalalalalala โชlalalaโฌlalalalalalalalalalalalalaโฉ lalalaโฌlalalalalala โชlalalalalaโฉlalalalalalalalala โซ

"Yeah, I do like riding." He waved a dismissive hand, "I got the bike covered." he replied, staring at her dead in the eyes now. Even if she got a job, it would take her years to raise enough money. "About $182,000." he replied. Needless to say, he was wealthy. And it had it's perks. There had been other more expensive bikes, all in perfect condition but for some reason, the one he had now had seriously called out to him then. And he still loved her. Sinister glanced at Jez again before returning his attention to Aspen. Pulling his cellular phone out of his pocket, he opened it. His crimson eyes moved downward as he texted someone, his fingers moving across the keys. Lightly making clicking noises. When he was done, he set his phone on the counter by his hand.
It really did seem that he had it under control. Lucky for Aspen, she caught him when he was in a good mood. Though, he never really did mind using up money. Mostly since it was his parents. He'd hear the lecture later, at the moment, he really didn't care. Besides, she could just pay him back when she could if it came down to it. He glanced at the other girl who was in the cafe with that damned angel male. As though he hadn't heard her judgemental thoughts, Sinister stared at the stanger, Olivia with dark unfriendly eyes before looking away. Running a hand through his hair, Sinister folded his arms and put his head down in them again. His eyes closed as he listened to his environment. ๏ธพใจ Do you run and hide or face the truth? ัฒัฒฯน - โ Hurtful words from my enemies of the last five years. What's it like to die alone? All because I'm leaving you behind. ________________________________________________________________ โช What a shame, what a shame, to judge a life that you can't change. โถ โท โธ โน Loren had noticed that Olivia seemed upset for a moment there. He figured that he wouldn't comment on it, not right now at least. He listened to her order before giving a soft sigh. He demeanor had changed he noticed. His aqua eyes glanced at her own, they were icy now. Turning to look at the girl behind the counter, he slowly turned serious. "Coffee, three sugars, 2% milk." he said simply. The girl nodded and walked off to take their orders. Loren looked at Olivia and shook his head slightly, silvery blond hair went flying for a moment. "I'll pay." he insisted. He simply found it impolite to have Olivia pay, besides, he was the one who asked her to have a drink with him.
The moment he felt a new darker presence, he looked towards the entrance. A demon and a vampire. No, a hybrid. A girl who was half vampire and half something else. The girl was pretty but the male brought a more omnimous air with him. Loren glanced at Olivia as she snorted and without reading her mind, he knew what she was thinking. He tried not to judge people based on appearance but she was right. Whoever that man was, he brought the promise of trouble with a capital 'T'.
With Loren being an angel, he knew that the demon didn't like him very much already and Loren wasn't to fond of the stranger either. The woman behind the counter returned with the drinks and set them down. She looked between Olivia and Loren, wondering who would pay when Loren put down a few dollars into her hand. Grabbing up his coffee, he looked for a place to sit-- away from the demon male. In the end, he decided to sit wherever Olivia wanted to.
He hadn't been completely comfortable yet and now he was tense again. Just peachy. When Olivia grabbed her drink, Loren returned his light gaze to her. He remembered that her demeanor changed and how she had seemed upset, "Are you alright?" he questioned softly as he pulled the tap on the top of his coffee back. โถ โท โธ โนโช There's a touch of gray for every shade of blue. ๐บ๐บ๐ฎ - โ Fallen Angel, destined to fly. Aspen looked at him then frowned, "Fine, but I will pay you back. Whether it's with money or not." Hell, $182,000 dollars was the price of some house she's seen. That's a lot of money, she would just let him buy that for her, she'd pay for it one way or another. When she finished her juice, Aspen got up and went throw away the plate and bottle. Then she returned to the booth and looked at Sin text. Seems like he had money and connections. Watching him with interest, she looked at his face and features.
She never actually stopped to look at him, but he looked much older than she appeared to be. She appeared to be 16 though she was more than 150 years old. "Hm.. How old are you?" Aspen looked at him then her eyes moved to his black hair. It was scatter all over the place, but matched his persona. She liked it on him and the way it cupped his pale face. Then his crimson red eyes, they scared her a little but only reminded her he was a demon. When she realized she was staring at him, she looked away, a light blush on her cheeks. Her eyes moved across the room to a couple of people that sat directly across from them. Then her eyes moved to the door of the cafe.

Giving that much money out for her, it was probably better that she paid it back. It wasn't like he was simply buying her a snack again. This was a long term thing. He didn't look up as she got up to throw away her trash. He knew that she sat back down though without looking up. He felt her eyes on him, watching. He looked up at her at her question. No one had asked him that in years. He appeared eighteen or nineteen but no one asked if he was older then that.
For the first time in a while, he gave a crooked smile. Somehow, it was actually rather attractive, especially on him. Sinister shrugged. "I don't know. I think that I'm one hundred ninety nine but I'm not quite sure." he replied seriously. He didn't pay much attention to his age-- or his birthday. It wasn't something to celebrate. It wasn't like he cared that she was staring at him, he got that a lot and was completely used to it now. He chuckled as she looked away, her cheeks flushing. Sinister's crooked smile died and his lips were left in a straight line again. He ignored everyone else in the room now, not caring about them at all though he still couldn't rid himself of the little fact that an angel was close by. His phone gave a light noise to tell Sin that he had received a message, Sinister grabbed it and let his eyes scan over it. He texted back before putting the cellular phone into his pocket again. His eyes moved to look at Aspen silently. He was just realizing it but she was rather attractive. Unlike how she looked away, he continued to stare at her, taking her features in from her hair to her eyes.
His face was calm and serious, showing that he didn't care if she caught him staring. Then he shifted his eyes to look at the table that they sat at. ๏ธพใจ Do you run and hide or face the truth? ัฒัฒฯน - โ Hurtful words from my enemies of the last five years. Aspen smiled, finally he accepted something from her. She'd get a simple job, in fact one at this cafe seemed perfect. She loved food, why not be around it all day. At the moment, everything was falling into place.
Listening to his guesstimate age, she smiled, "I'm around one hundred fifty something." She pulled out something that looked like a note book. "Hm.. Let's see.." She flipped through the book to pages that looked like she added in. "I'm... One hundred fifty-six right now." She smiled then looked up at him. "This is my life book. Ever since I learned how to right I kept a journal everything something interesting happened. Flipping a page over, she pulled out a pencil and started writing something in. 'Today, I met a new person, his name is Sinister Grey, and he's really nice, though he is a demon.' She looked up at him with a skeptical smile. She just realized it. "You know, even if you are a demon, you're a really nice one." She kept a light smile, "I don't know if that's bad or good to you, but I think it's different." She looked back down at her worn out book and kept writing, her middle ages script. 'He's promised to teach me to ride a motorcycle, like his really cool motorcycle Jezebel. I'm so eager, I can't wait.' She placed the pen in the book and put it to the side. She then looked up at Sin, she realized him staring at her. She smiled softly then thought about his age, "Oh, if you're older than one hundred, you must be experienced with the world. How many languages to you know?" She asked, curious. Her first language is Italian, but since she's in America, she always speaks English.

What do you do when the world comes down on you? ๏ธฝ Why was she so eager to give back to him? Sinister wondered but didn't ask the question. "Ah, you're still rather young." he commented softly. He didn't mean to be rude and watch her write. Journals were supposed to be kept secret, no? But he couldn't stop his eyes from watching her hand move as she wrote-- about meeting him. His expression turned more grim at her words. She had no idea how wrong she was-- how wrong she could be. But he didn't make a habit of acting like his dimwitted and needlessly cruel siblings. He didn't comment. There was nothing to say, why make her think otherwise?
He watched her write again with slight interest. Aspen seemed so excited to learn, it made him more willing to help her. "Far too experienced." he replied dryly. "Languages?" he repeated. "Ah, thirty give or take? I'm more fluent in Spanish, French, Japanese, and of course, English." While most people would probably brag about such an accomplishment, Sinister said it as if it were nothing. And to him, it was nothing. "You seem fluent in Italian, no?" How did he know? Her mind provided the information to him. Normally, Sin just spoke English since most people understood that. For a minute, he realized that she was actually taking an interest in his life. He blinked, focusing his gaze on her. Not many people paid him a lot of mind on that. But then again, most of the people he paid attention to knew who he was and didn't dare try to get close to him.
It was startling to have this stranger try and it was also dangerous. When it came to his life, there was a such thing as knowing too much. But the things Aspen was asking were irrelevant, they shouldn't cause her or him that much trouble to have her know. ๏ธพใจ Do you run and hide or face the truth? ัฒัฒฯน - โ Hurtful words from my enemies of the last five years. Loren paid, and though Olivia was quite polite, and she knew he had offered in the first place, but... somehow, she was stubborn, and wanted to at least pay for herself; she knew how somewhat expensive coffee is. When she grabbed her cup and he paid, she felt a bit... not annoyed, but a little bit peeved. She knew he was being generous, but it just all seemed so awkward somewhat for her, still. She knew her herself tended to be an extremely awkward person, in the worst ways possible, like saying the wrong thing, her face showing her emotions, such as dislike, for someone, and occasionally just the way she was made people feel uncomfortable. She had grown used to it, but why was it all of a sudden this meant something to her, like she wanted to not be awkward or make him feel uncomfortable?
Olivia was staring out the windows now, her cup in hand. She had sub-consciously brought the coffee to her lips and took a long sip in deep thought, spacing out. She felt a pair of dark eyes lay on her for a moment, but ignored them completely; that was one thing she was good at. She hadn't cared at all who those people were, much less the rest of the room. When Loren tried to speak to her, she blinked, and then looked up at him, noticing how tall he actually was to her; considering the fact that Olivia was actually very small, and Loren was naturally tall in general.
"Huh? Yeah." Olivia waved her hand in a "forget it" gesture, shaking her head as well, "Yeah, sorry. Thank you. I really could have paid, now I feel kind of bad." Giving out a light, awkward laugh, the blonde looked around for a place to sit. ''I really should be more considerate.' She thought sadly, giving him a small smile before sitting in a booth, a little ways from anyone else. Aspen looked at him with a light blush on her cheeks, "I-I'm not that young..." She smiled softly, their age difference was about forty-five years. But is somewhere along the lines, that was translated into human years, it would be about nine, give or take, years. She wondered if that changed how he felt about her, because to her that meant nothing. What was she talking about? Did they even count as friends? Aspen looked back at Sin, she had to admit she wished it was that if not something more. But she shouldn't push her luck, just keep it to herself. Besides, he didn't seem that interest in meeting someone anyway.
"Whoa, thirty?" Aspen pressed her head against the table, "Maybe I am still rather young, All I know is Italian, English, French, and Spanish." Those were the only ones she knew fluently, she knew words and phases from other languages, but didn't even count those. Looking up from the table at him, she nodded, "Yeah, it's my first language. I came here from Italy... um.. We had some problems there, so we left." Her eyes moved along the table to the note book she had, the day they left Italy was written in that note book. Aspen looked outside then up at a clock in the cafe, "Wow, it's getting late..." She looked back at Sin, "Time flies when you're enjoying yourself." She giggled softly then pulled out her phone, "How about we share each others phone number or e-mail, that way we can chat whenever." She handed him her phone and looked at him anxiously.

What do you do when the world comes down on you? ๏ธฝ "Younger then me," he replied calmly. It didn't make much of a difference to him. Age was nothing but a number. Besides, it wasn't like she was anything more then an aquaintance. Sinister didn't make friends quickly, it usually took a while do to all the things that have happened in his past. Trust had to be earned before he considered anyone a friend, even then, he was still skeptical. He'd been stabbed in the back too many times to count by 'friends'. Aspen was completely right, he had no desire to meet anyone. That wasn't even in the list of reasons as to why he came to Earth.
He chuckled, "At least you know that many." Sinister rose an eyebrow at her reply. Trouble for her family in Italy, huh? For a moment, he wondered what kind of trouble but again, he didn't pry. It was none of his concern. Besides, if he learned too much about her, he would feel like he owed it to Aspen to let her know more about him. That wasn't going to happen. Watching her eyes shift to the clock on the cafe, he nodded slightly in agreement. He didn't need to look at a clock to know that it was getting late. "That may not be the best. . ." he sighed, his sentence breaking apart as she handed him her cellular phone. Sinister found it hard to say no when she looked at him with those anxious eyes. His fingers ran across the keys as he registered himself into her phone, his number under the name 'Sin'. He pulled his phone out and registered Aspen's name and number inside before giving her phone back.
"Come on, I'll drive you home." Sinister said lightly. ๏ธพใจ Do you run and hide or face the truth? ัฒัฒฯน - โ Hurtful words from my enemies of the last five years. What's it like to die alone? How does it feel when tears freeze when you cry? The blood in your veins is twenty below. _____________________________________________ So grab this statement, And read between the lines. I'm walking on an edge, that's how I stay alive. I need a fix now. The pills I have to take, It helps me live a lie, and blinds all my mistakes. Before I die, I will have seen it all. The mountains I have climbed, help me enjoy the fall.
Oh the webs you weave. We are caught in the fame. The passion's dead. The life you've lead, has drown in your shame. Oh the webs I weave. I am caught in this game. My passions dead, the life I've lead, has drowned me in vain.
So paint my portrait, the colours of my life, and the untold stories are painted in black and white. i can hear the footsteps, that follow to my pulse. This paranoia has haunted me like a ghost. Before I die. I will have seen it all. the mountains I have climbed, help me enjoy the fall.

xxxxxxxx ๐ท๐ฌ๐ฏ๐ข๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ช๐ช๐ข๐ฑ๐ฑ ๐ท๐ฆ๐ค๐ฅ๐ฑ ________________________________________________________________ I can't believe the drama that I'm in, the flood is getting closer But I don't think they know that I know how to swim You're feeling numb, from all that has become It leaves your gums, slips down your tongue and travels fast down towards your lungs All because I'm leaving it behind. I feel the pressure It's coming down on me. It's turning me black and blue You left me on the side of the road, and now I've got no place to go. You brought the flood! I cant believe, the troubles that you've caused The pain is getting stronger, like an open wound without the gauze It's on my brain, it's driving me insane It's on my mind all of the time and if it left, I would be fine. All because I'm leaving you behind. ________________________________________________________________ โช What a shame, what a shame, to judge a life that you can't change. โถ โท โธ โน Putting the full cup to his mouth, Loren took a few sips before pulling it down. It was obvious that Olivia was spacing out, he waited until she returned to reality. He shrugged lightly, "I'm a bit old schooled I suppose, I found it rude to let you pay. No reason to feel badly about it." he said honestly. It took him a split second to realize that he may just have irritated Olivia with his actions. "My apologies." Loren followed her to where she decided to sit and sat across from her. The bag full of his drawing supplies rested on the seat beside him.
Glancing out the window, he noticed just how late it was getting. Time sure did fly. "I assume that you're attending Northstar?" he asked lightly, looking at Olivia again. He took another drink of his coffee before setting on the table again, both of his hands held it. He already felt warmer and it was appreicated. It was warm in here with a slight chill when the door opened. He was still listening to Olivia, but Loren was also paying attention to the people around him. Occasionally, he picked up bits of conversation from others. Glancing outside again, his gaze stopped at a motorcycle. Without thinking much about it, he already knew whose it was. And it was actually a nice ride-- though he picked his wings over a motorcycle any day. Nothing beat the feeling of wind on your face and the sound of ruffled feathers when it came to flying.
This time, he was the one spacing out. He remained like that for a few minutes before he was able to focus again, all thoughts of what he was thinking about before were gone now. โถ โท โธ โนโช There's a touch of gray for every shade of blue. ๐บ๐บ๐ฎ - โ Fallen Angel, destined to fly. Broken and crazy, but too strong to cry. โ
