╔═════════════ It took forever to leave the more populated areas of Usank and finally set course for Gale's settlement. It had been a while since he had last seen Gale and was hoping that the Harpy would still be around. He had looked as though he enjoyed keeping to himself so Kishi doubted that he could have gone back into the commercial district of Usank. If anything, the harpy would be roaming about or resting in hist nest. The latter sounded more likely since Gale had been injured, but Nox had said that the conversation between Gale and the other harpy had sounded very tense. Hopefully no one had managed to gut themselves while Kishi was busy getting knocked over and involved with shady characters. The Koroki's wounds were mostly healed now so it was with a much quicker gait that he walked towards his goal. "Gale?" he shouted as he rounded a corner and came into sight of the harpy's home.

When Gale refused to make a move, Neferet let out a piercing shriek and charged forward, her spear raised aggressively. "If you won't come back, I'll end you where you stand!" She cried as her spear sank into Gale's shoulder. He winced, still sore from the Larva's bite earlier, but did not hesitate to pull the scythe off his back and use the handle to club the back of the female harpy's head with enough force to effectively knock a normal harpy out. Unfortunately, as the Chief's daughter, she was a bit more sturdy and only lurched forward and lost the grip on her spear, giving Gale enough time to push off and escape the female's reach. He pulled the spear from his shoulder and tossed it to the ground before settling on a branch closer to his hut.
"You can leave, Neferet. Only death awaits you here. I have no place with my people, and I have no place with Evolution." He said, holding his scythe as passively as he could without being defenseless.
The female knew she could not win, but made no motion to back down. "Why do you abandon us?! We put so much into you! You had EVERYTHING you could have wanted." she cried, tensing even as the blood began to drip down her shoulders. Without even waiting for the response, the orange-winged harpy turned and fled, surely off to alert her father of his whereabouts. He would have to relocate again before she brought them back.
The short flight back to his small hut was uneventful until he was at his door and he heard the small male's voice from before. "What are you doing here. How did you find this place." He asked, covering up his wound with his hand as he stood in front of his door. "And what are those." he gestured to the two gremlin-like beings at the Koroki's feet.

╔═════════════ The first thing Kishi noticed was how defensive the dark harpy was with his hand covering his shoulder. "I thought I would check up on you to make sure you didn't die from any nasty poison in that thing's mouth. I also saw a few harpies around and thought that they may be relatives of yours or something," Kishi lied smoothly. "I was curious as to what harpies would be doing in Usank since that is not where their nests usually are so I sent Nox." He pointed at the spirit glowing darkly above his head. "to look for you. You guys wouldn't happen to be planning to relocate by any chance? The trees here are ideal, but I don't know about those feral nicatals. They aren't that friendly. Got mugged by them actually."
He wasn't about to bring up Evolution immediately as that would have been a bit too suspicious, but was trying to pry information out of Gale to see if it was a coordinated Harpy invasion. "As for these, I've been told that they are daemons. I just got them. They can store mana for later use. Pretty useful if you ask me."

Of course the Koroki was just worried; just like Neferet had just been concerned for his safety this far from the tribe. "Do not worry. I am capable of taking care of my wounds." Gale said, the hole from the spear dripping slightly. "To my knowledge there is no move to leave the Tribe's ground. I have been isolated for many moons, though. They could have decided such in that time." He could tell the Koroki was suspicious, but he turned his back on the small being and pushed the curtain of his hut aside to shuffle inside. "Now, I must tend to this. You are free to stay, only keep those... Daemon tamed." he said from in the door.
He pulled a handful of the herbs hanging from the window and ground them into a course paste, smearing the green smudge over the spear wound before pressing a gauze and wrapping the area to stop the bleeding. He stripped off the bloody shirt that had seen better days and pulled an identical shirt to pull on.
╔═════════════ The drops of blood did not go unnoticed to Kishi who tilted his head a few degrees sideways to try and get a better look at where it had come from. "Correct me if I am wrong, but that looks like a fresh wound." It was more of a question than a statement, but Kishi bounded after Gale into the harpy's hut. If he was willing to let the koroki enter his home, perhaps he did not have anything to hide after all unless it was to murder Kishi...
"Oh, they are harmless, really. And not as clumsy as they look. Nox will be sure to keep an eye on them," he added ignoring the spirit's protest that they were two and it couldn't be at two place at the same time.
"If things are getting dangerous for you, why not move? I am a traveler and wouldn't mind a companion. It will make the travels much safer," Kishi asked while looking away when he saw that Gale was changing his shirt. The koroki had decided to take a seat on a nearby chair and was swinging his feet back and forth while taking in the hut. He did not know who had attack the harpy, but it had looked like an injury that could only be inflicted by a weapon, not by some wild beasts.
"Besides, I'm guessing you are avoiding the nicatals in the area. I don't think it will take them that long to find you. Unless you are staying for other reasons." 'Reasons such as observing the area for Evolution.'Nox added mentally while chiding one of the daemons that had tried to tug on the numerous leaves hanging from the window.

Gale ignored the statement, hoping that covering the bandage would distract the boy from the wound. It was already starting to heal thanks to the paste he'd rubbed on, which was a blessing even though it stung more than getting stabbed had. He followed the two gremlin-like creatures with his eyes as they explored, sure to redirect them should they wander too close to something breakable. "There is danger everywhere. The Nicatal know of my presence and leave me to myself. I am safe here. Safer than I have been." He said as he went about hanging the plants he had gathered from his trip into the forest. They would need to dry before he could use most of them, which took longer than he would have liked, but it was the way of things.
"I fear my presence would put you at more risk than you think. My people would do anything to win me back, and it is their way to use violence." Though he would have to leave the forest before Neferet returned, there was no guarantee that she would not use the Koroki's presence as leverage. And knowing her, she would have help the next time, which did not bode well for either of them. "If you have need of a guide, I can take you to the edge, but it would be safer for you to go from there alone." He ruffled his charcoal feathers absently as he shrugged his shoulders into his cloak, the fabric splitting up the back for his wings.

No followed the felines pointing as he explained the area to them. About how they were beginning to settle as their own people instead of living as independent tribes. As nice as it was that they were finding a balance to live in, the fact they had no real trade routes or forms of defense, or even ways to deal with dangers was concerning to Noa. He tried not to dwell on it and instead thought of how long they would be walking in order to reach the forest. Looking back to Farrokh for a moment, Noa nodded. "It appears we have our destination." He then glanced off to the side as a spirit warned him of someone watching them.

It was interesting to see someone think about his safety though it could be seen as eagerness to get rid of him. If that was the case, it would not be the first time the Koroki experienced such a thing. He did not mind it, but he will not leave before confirming a few things. Amongst which was the harpy's way of living.
"I assume that your people were the ones behind your injury. Why have you left your people? You speak as though you dislike them for their violent ways. Should I think of you as a pacifist then?" It would be rather odd to see a harpy lean more towards law and order, but every now and then, there are 'rotten' apples that pop up. He was one of them, after all. Heck, the only reason Kishi's people had not chased after him was because they were quite stubborn about their belief to remain passive even if that was the very reason that made Kishi despise them and leave them while taking away the spell book they had been protection for generations. Unfortunately, if Gale really was one of those 'rotten' apple that deviated from the usual chaotic ways of harpies in favor of law and order, Kishi would have little use of Gale apart from occasional man-power for minor tasks in the area.
"And don't worry about me," he added, feet still dangling from his seat. His daemons had started taking turn trying to latch onto them. In retaliation, he let one grab onto it only to push more mana into it. "Like you said, danger is everywhere and I am quite used to having people wanting me dead. Well, if you ask Nox, he would tell you that I am not doing anything to prevent that either. It's not my fault everyone's so gullible. "

Light magic is the only kind that can dispel it and to do so, it must be a spell that uses twice the amount of MP that this spell used to be casted (so 20MP)

The Koroki was relentless in his pursuit of Gale's personal life, apparently, though he was unsure why. "It was my fiance who gave me this." He admitted as he strapped his scythe holster back over his cloak. "I did not leave on good terms, and they seek to bring me back is all. I do not wish to go back, and so I do not. They cannot risk injuring me permanently because I was their best warrior, but this is not permanent." He explained, gesturing towards his shoulder.
The wind blew gently through the herb-covered window, drawing the harpie's attention out to the open. The Cervisong from before had somehow found his hut, sniffing at the many herbs and flowers Gale had collected and planted around his tree home. "Everyone wishes death on someone. I wish only to live without that expectation looming over my shoulders." He half-smiled as he spoke, the Cervisong's ears perking at the sound of his voice. "I know not of the political stance of the cat-men, only that they have been more protective of their forest. They allow few through without sound reason, should they see the being." Though it was interesting to know that the Nobles had started again. Gale knew from eavesdropping on his tribe's meetings that Evolution and Chaos were in power, having allegedly wiped every other house out. That had partially contributed to his inevitable leave, since he would have no part in killing entire houses and guilds because of blind loyalty to a faceless name. "I just wish there to be peace again. I fear if you were looking for a blood-thirsty killer, you may have to inquire with my ex-fiance." He packed some spare clothes and jarred fruits as he spoke, preparing for the trek to the outer edge of the forest. "Where, exactly did you want to go?"

Flight is impossible during the spell because of the increased air density. Due to the spells high costs and the limitations of mobility, he tries to only use it as a last resort. Kishi found himself a bit disappointed about his new finding. Gale was indeed more of a pacifist, someone that preferred peace, but at least it would appear that he had both the mental and physical capabilities to kill if needed. He was also quite skilled if Kishi was to believe his words, but his desire to live a quiet, passive life did not fit the koroki's agenda.
"Oh, I have no interest in a blood-thirsty killer. I find no appeal in senseless killing, but I will make sure to remember your suggestion should I need some hired muscle," he reassured the harpy before picking up what appeared to be a spoon and slipping it into his messenger bag while he thought Gale was busy with the beautiful deer outside. He needed something that had once belonged to the harpy should he wished to contact Gale again in the future through a messenger's power.
"I had been planning to head to Caran due to the recent events that had taken place there, but was distracted. Think of me as some sort of talent scout," Kishi explained as he made his way out of Gale's home and Nox let out a mental sigh. "Hm, I may have spoken too much already." "But know that I do not think eternal peace is ideal, but due to the state of things right now, I am aiming taking its side. Unfortunately, blood needs to be drawn every now and then for that purpose." That was why Kishi was gathering man power. Though they had some members quite well-off in society, few of them were actually fighters. They were mostly diplomat that can only talk or bribe their way out of trouble and that bothered the koroki. He needed to find capable fighters should they be able to support House of Peace and its components properly and deal with the aftermath. "For now, however, I have an appointment with someone in Usank at nightfall so I will be roaming around the area until then."
Twilight's lack of manpower was really playing in that mysterious figure's favor. If he really had the intentions of letting Kishi keep one of those creations that is. "Oh yea, not to mention that I had deposited the majority of my money at the item shop..."

Writing down the information he had been told within his book, Noa looked towards the East. It should not take too long to reach the location, as long as they moved at a brisk pace and did not idle too long for rest. It appeared Farrokh and his wife were off doing their own business, and to that Noa could only sigh. He looked to the passerby who had slowed to listen to the conversation, shaking his head, Noa started off down the boardwalk, hoping to close some distance to the temple before having to leave the city. While he was here, there was also the chance he could go and grab some gear that may be useful in his travels.

" W-what did you say...? ", Farrokh asked Izanami in disbelief. He couldn't believe what he just heard. Did she just tell him that she didn't have much longer to live?
" You're...not serious are you? ", he asked, still in shock. His heart was beating at an incredible speed. It felt almost as if he were about to pass out. Finally meeting his first love again, and then finding out that she doesn't have much time to live? Since when? When was she going to tell him? He started to feel dizzy, and all those past atrocities he committed starting coming back to him. Just when he thought he could leave it behind him.

With a nervous smile, she replied.
" Yes...I'm being serious. While my father revived me through magic, the magic can only hold together for a certain amount of time. Only a god should be able to bring back the dead for good, right? I just wanted to see you one last time, though. ". Suddenly, she started to dematerialize.
" Oh...looks like my time is up.... " she said with tears coming to her eyes. She walked over to the paralyzed Farrokh and hugged him tightly.
" It's time to move forward, Freddie. Just don't get distracted on the what-ifs, should-haves, and if-onlys. The one thing you choose yourself - that is the truth of your universe. " she said. She put her hand on his chest and said,
