I'm currently teaching myself the Korean and Japanese language !. 비가 떨어지니까 나도 떨어질 것 같아냐 Wow another artistic person- how awesome whee How is the language endeavor going? It can be very difficult to teach yourself a language! But anything is possible with the right amount of determination- You're currently going for the two languages I wish I knew the most ^.^ hehe

It's actually been a while since I've drawn anything so those skills might be a bit rusty

But for the language thing it's going pretty smoothly at the moment
I'm mostly using the music, kpop and jpop, to help me learn the words but I also bought some books and am using the internet
And seeing how I'm in Taekwondo too, in my school we have to use the Korean words for the kicks, blocks, punches, etc. so that's helping a bit too
They're very fun language and I think the best part about both languages is that even though they have a lot of similarities they also have a lot of differences
Korean characters are easy to write but hard to pronounce while the Japanese characters are hard to write but easy to pronounce
It's strange but a fun adventure

That's fantastic! I hope you stick with it ^.^ I've heard that Korean and Japanese do have a lot of similarities, but I find a lot of J-pop can be confusing because their words are more poetic and sometimes hard to put together in syntax.

Really?
I seem to learn the lyrics to Japanese songs much faster then the Korean ones
But that's probably because I had an obsession with anime for about two years (not so much anymore) so the Japanese language just automatically became easier to me
Who knows, maybe if I keep watching all my kdramas, Korean will become as easy as Japanese has for me
*le shrug*
Oh and I'll stick to it, I think that I have a weird obsession with learning languages
In school, other then music class, my favorite class was the language ones
