Jasmine returned there, looking around the area sadly, this wasn't her most triumphant return, glancing at the cemetry and wondering whether or not the cure had been used to sanitise the water and everything the Gastly Aether had contaminated...
But now the grounds would be so empty... she sighed... and lead the Skarmory back to the small home hidden in the crevice of the dusty valley.
"Here's fine, thank you..." She'd slide off, and open the door of the hut, before smiling and offering a hand in to Ironclaw instead, the Skarmory moving inside.
It was almost time... So with one deft move she took all her pokéballs at once, and flung them forward, unleashing one by one her team.
Lindbergh the Gligar. Burnout the Lampent and former Arcanine. Nightingale the Happiny. Primal the Panpour. Queen the Pawniard.
Confusion seemed again a vital component here. Not just so much the newer members, as Primal would gape in awe at a human structure for the first time, whilst Queen would snap orders and roars of disapproval of treatment for royalty...
But Nightingale, who stormed forward with tiny fists clenched. [Jasmine, I am your appointed medic, now WHY have you been neglecting my checkups!?]
Burnout, who turned on her with a quiet and intense glower.
And Lindbergh, who had been there closest the whole time... who looked up at her. [So... we ready to talk?]
Jasmine sighed, already moving for the food there... "Guys... yes... we need to talk."
~~~~~~~~
And so she would. Introductions were passed to new members, although Queen showed very little interest in any proceedings...
And she continued, the tale of how she'd made the mistake over Rhinox and the trader... the black market... and the aghast silence that overtook everything...
Right up to now, and Victoria's offering...
"I... I made a mistake... believing the man at his word..."
"Even after telling him about the illness he didn't blink."
"And now... Licorice and Rhinox... I have no idea how they are... And they need help."
"But now."
"Now we need to make good on this."
Nightingale hugged her new Oval Stone, presented after Jasmine had mentioned Riku... and she looked up, unsure for a moment, but nodded slowly. [There's no way we can stand here...]
Burnout glew as his Energy Ball assembled and vanished... [And I cannot allow this to be bought with blood of a fellow teammate.]
Lindbergh shrugged and clambered around Jasmine's shoulders. [Yeah, plus I totally hate getting shafted by a shenanigans stall owner, I say we get him back!]
[Speaking as the steed?] Ironclaw looked up from her dish with a cackle. [I'm all in.]
"Then it's agreed." Jasmine grinned, as Primal would nod as well, "Everyone, get a good night's sleep."
~~~~~~~~~~~
Sleep was something that went quickly and vanished without warrant... and getting up, nothing but a list of chores of Jasmine's bandages being changed, her dress being changed for a clean set of the same clothing, but finally there, as she wrapped her head and pulled her hat on, they were ready to go.
With Burnout there, hovering invisible behind Jasmine once more, Ironclaw underneath her, and Lindbergh wrapped around her shoulders, she nodded.
"Alright... if we're going to do this... I need a little something extra to help."
"So in that case... off to the poké mart!"
She needed items.
And information.

Jasmine would sigh as she walked to the edge of her lot, looking over it all for a moment and taking it in.
[Been a while, huh, Jasmine?] The Gligar peeked out from under the girl's cape, a little cackle to her voice as her tail swayed out behind them.
"Uh-huh..." Jasmine half-laughed... this would be something indeed... now they had to do a lot of restocking, they had to get things sorted and organised. If this was it, if she would be going away for a while and leaving pokémon here, she needed to know it would be safe for them... as well that they could be self-sufficient. "I just never thought I'd see the day I needed to organise this...."
[I'm sure we'll do just fine!] Nightingale happily beamed as she came up, two massive bags of pokémon food on either shoulder as they approached the silver cylinder. [We're managing just fine so far!]
"Mmmm..." The girl responded somewhat absently as she took her crutch and tapped a button on the top of it, the cylinder rising up and showing her a screen that opened up to show the two different land areas...
As she opened up a set of buttons, one option after another, she found the one she wanted... food selection, rationing out portions, the machine would make the dried food expand and cover enough for pokémon, but they needed to fill the machine first of all, suddenly tapping that button would make another cylinder open up, a large portal opening that Nightingale immediately began to fill.
That took care of one issue as the food units would start illuminating one by one.
Queen and Primal had been sent to the graveyard... she leaned in and slid their icons to the left into the hazardous wastes, immediately to be rewarded by a ping as two pokéball icons came out on screen, a shelf emerging with both balls there.
The girl grinned, and then looked at Lindbergh, "Lindbergh, can you get down a second?"
The Gligar quirked a brow, then shrugged, hopping off, just in time as the Panpour and Pawniard would appear as well. "Alright guys... it's time to get to work."
~~~~~~~~
Two berries... Bluk Berry, Yache Berry...
She watched as Panpour would work away on watering them, as Queenie would make sure to carve out the places for them in the hard earth, her blades slicing the clods into finer earth, watching on...
Meanwhile, Lindbergh sulked, the Gligar folding arms as she watched on.
Jasmine leaned down and kissed her, just between the ears atop her head. "I promise."
"It's just for now..."
She hoped. As she turned away and headed onward, Nightingale following alongside.
Nightingale. Ironclaw. Burnout.
Three pokémon... with one more to come in that egg...
It was time to head on and see what they could do.
A segmented tail tapped the ground as Lindbergh sat there, arms folded and lazing in the shade. Thoughts ran over her head, again and again, Jasmine's sudden decision to place her here...
[I can't believe she left me here...]
Primal looked up, his fine water spray listing over the two new mounds they'd so carefully planted under Jasmine's guidance. He was of course the one chosen to tend to them and make sure they were well watered and tended to. [Well, enjoy it while you can, no idea how long you'll be here, huh?]
[Hmmph.] Lindbergh lay back, it would be a long way away from Jasmine...
Lindbergh continued to sulk as she lay there, tail waving irritably.
[Desist this mood, your childish moodiness is positively overbearing in my presence.]
Lindbergh sat up with a swift growl, looking back to Queen, the Pawniard was positioned before a large rock and studying it thoroughly. [And what, prey tell, are you doing so productively while you're stuck here?!]
[What you should be doing...] The Pawniard spoke slowly, far more delicately than normally, not even stopping to insult the Gligar for such an offensive tone. She moved her blades up slowly, sliding them an inch at a time, taking her stand before the rock.
Lindbergh quirked a brow, sitting up and watching out of curiosity.
[We must use this time to hone our skills!] The Pawniard spoke, before suddenly lunging, her arms becoming a blur as she screeched, leapt, sliced, hacked and assaulted the piece of masonry from every angle!
Then finally, we fell into a pose, blades crossed before her. [Behold! My visage!]
[...] Lindbergh tried, she tried desperately not to laugh, but as she wheezed and snorted, eventually Queen would look back at her perfect statue of herself... And realise she had carved her buttocks and her face the wrong way round.
~~~~~~~
Primal continued to water the plants, watching eagerly as the first little leaf would sprout from each plant, happily watching on, making his water a fine mist, shaking his head and the large water cloud would send a shower of droplets over the plant and the ground!
[Ahhh...] He sighed. [Groovy.]
[I'll kill you!]
Primal whirled to see Lindbergh flying up and away as Queen came after her, slashing and gouging marks into the ground as we hazed after the laughing Gligar! [Get back here you leathery winged bat!!]
Primal blinked, shrugged and patted the earth around the two plants. [Well... At least she's found her swing?]

Primal lazed back for now, chilled and relaxed, he would let himself hang from an erected hammock high above the plants, a foot pushing gently against the rock walls as he would sway back and forth,
And as he did, with every sway the water cloud tuft of hair shook, letting a fine spray fall down above the leafy buds that had now sprouted from the ground.
It wouldn't be a full rainfall, but it would certainly leave a fine and dazzling mist over the plants as he worked away, the ideal mix of kicking it back and enjoying himself... He didn't need a care in the world, but he knew those berries would taste all the sweeter with a little love...

[I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it.]
[Believing IS seeing...] Primal sighed happily as he stood between Queen and Lindbergh, the Gligar salivating.
[Is it food yet?]
Primal suddenly swung forward to protect the two shrubs now budding behind him, arms spread wide. [We aren't eating them! They're here to be protected, they're nature's miracles, man!]
The Pawniard and Gligar glanced at each other, they may not have agreed on much... but with a nod, both would about turn and head on their ways, for this one, they were in agreement, they would leave the monkey well and alone with the plants as he'd water and tend to them...
[Yeah, we'll show the establishment! Let's go! Grow big and strong!! Come on, guys!]

((Day 5 in the pokélot diary~))
Both shrubs now could show their progress now, both of them with budding berries just beginning to grow from the branches, their leaves beginning to shrub and grow, whilst Primal would look on, grinning a second before he'd shake vigorously like a dog, water spraying all over the plants from his rain cloud tuft of fur and making the plants glisten.
Both of them looked healthy so far, even for this hazardous land, he'd kept a close eye on them, sighing as he looked up at his waiting hammock, beginning to climb the rock face to settle down once again...

((Day 6, can't wait to taste them sweet, sweet berries XD))
Primal looked at the berry trees now as he let his water trickle down their leaves, glistening them in the sunlight, and as he would stand back and admire them both, left them almost dazzling to behold.
Those berries hung and dripped gently, tantalising almost, but they weren't quite ripe just yet as Primal squinted a discerning eye upon them...
Almost ready... not quite yet...
But then a rumble came in his stomach. He blinked... would one really hurt right now...?

All of Primal's efforts were about to bear fruit, quite literally!
The Panpour kept his eyes on the prized berries, now weighing upon their branches, just waiting to drop!
As he would give them one final watering, they sparkled under watery droplets on each plant, tempting him, goading him with the sweet smell of fruit, juicy and waiting...
He eyed them hungrily... Surely one berry would'nt hurt... He'd done all the hard work, surely he was allowed just ONE, right?

"All of them?!?!" Jasmine exclaimed as she stood there, looking at Primal, Lindbergh and Queen, the latter two pushing the tearful simian forward with the meagre two berries that were all that remained of their harvest.
Jasmine sighed... As soon as she'd gotten into the terrain she'd opened the metal cylinder that rotated her pokemon, and there was the strange Dream Ball that she'd never seen before.
She really shouldn't have worried about the fish it seemed, as now he sat in a shady spot f the valley in a tiny paddling pool - that she had no idea where the others had procured it from - all patched up and the Magikarp splashing about inside.
Aside waving off a hungry looking Queen she'd been quick to ask about the harvest, with PKE mimicking her expressions every step of the way. Jasmine sighed, and shook her head. "It's not so bad." She finally decided.
It certainly got er a queer look or two from Lindbergh or Queen, both expecting punishments galore for Primal, but before they could speak, the girl had reached into her bag.
"We started with two berries, and we still have two... Alongside ugh this one I received?" She added the Figy Berry found in the dream world, "We have three."
Wordlessly she about turned and scooped up a handful of the earth, dropping the Berries in, one there and one in each of the prior bushes positions, then taking that canine pepper... it wasn't good for much... but as Primal would water, she would squash the mulchy vegetable up, spreading it over the small mounds... here was hoping it might be good for compost of sorts!
Then she up and turned. "I think we've learned lessons... So I'm trusting you all to look out for one another, okay?"
A collective nod, and Jasmine returned the gesture. "Okay."
One more stop to go....

Well... with Jasmine gone, the job of course fell to them to watch over the berries.
There the pokémon would remain, and it was not without a little embarrassment that Primal would tend to the berries, shaking his puffed out mane as water droplets cascaded down below, saving a little water whichever way he could, letting the sprinkling water drizzle the hopefully one day saplings for what would come soon...

Lindbergh sighed from where she perched upon one of the many barren trees that littered the landscape of the land, dangling there she hung upside down by her tail, eyes half lidded as she would watch Primal at work dripping water delicately over the new berry spots one by one.
Well... good on him, she just had to make sure she watched him at the end of this when he would of course have to reap the rewards.
But as for her?
She sighed again and curled wings around herself.
[And WHAT heavy crown do you bear to sigh such as that? Hmm?]
An eyelid creeped open as she peered aside at the Pawniard who stood there below, arms folded. And with all thought and delicate care, chose her words simply. [None of your business.]
Promptly followed by the Gligar closing her eyes and turning around again attempt to feign sleep.
[Oh, I think it does. There are only four of us here, and that's already too many when you lot disturb the peace of my rightful reign.] Queen flicked a bladed arm past her helmet as she poised, before returning the half-lidded look at Lindbergh. [And since one of my subjects moods will ruin it all, I think it's about time you come clean with whatever has you shunning away from me and my glorious qualities?]
[Not to mention... since you are my only challenger for supremacy in these lands... I believe it would be too easy for me to cut you down while you're in this stromp. I want to beat you at your best!]
For all the posturing, all the hot air, all the hurrah and blah and throwing her weight around, Queen was certainly giving a lot of trouble to pry into Lindbergh's problems... and the Gligar turned slowly, looking over the Pawniard for a moment.
She wouldn't turn fully, but she muttered her reply, barely above audible determination. [It's Jasmine.]
[When she came back, I was hoping it was to maybe decide to take us with her.]
The Pawniard sighed. [She was only here a little whiles ago anyway, and we've hardly trained any since she left... it's only natural we're going to be here for a while.]
It hardly was inspiring words to make the Gligar feel better. [Hmph.]
[I bet if I was still a Gliscor, Jasmine would have taken me.]
[Huh. Then maybe we have to change that?]
[...And how do you propose that?]

Primal couldn't help but ponder as he watered awaya t the berries planted.
He was there to work on the plants... yet... as he turned and peered, there was that Magikarp... splashing away in the pool.
He wondered, as watere continued to splash away at the ground in his mid-disraction. Jasmine now had a second water type.... would it be really his job for so long?
He had to wonder fter the berry eating incident now...
