Joi ran as fast as she could up that hill. She kept looking behind her and giggling like a fool. She was having a blast just hanging out and being silly with Jomund. Something she didn't think she'd ever do again since growing up. She's never seen her parents be silly, they're always so serious with each other.... and especially now. Her dad went fricken psycho on her.
"What are you doin lookin at my butt?" she teases, not slowing up, "And you'll never catch me, I'm more spry." She stuck her tongue out and then turned to watch where she was running. Wouldn't have been the first time she would have ran into something or someone by not paying attention.

Well, Jomund thought, might as well be honest! "Cause it's cute! Oh, and I can see it really well cause it's blue so it contrasts the brown of the path very well!" He laughed and sped up a bit, his longer stride coming more into play. Though, she was right, she was much more spry than than he... He shook his head thinking of some of the OTHER ways she could be spry.
Bad Jomund, she will not, can not, be your girl, so get over it, and be the best damn friend ever!
He kept laughing even though his heart sank at his own bearation, trying to keep the laugh happy, and by some fluke he managed to pull it off...
He was getting better at hiding his true feelings, progress!

Giggling just a little, as it was hard to do while putting so much energy into running, she rounds a bend, slowing up only slightly so she wouldn't skid and fall. "Honesty, I like that." she smirks, glancing at him over her shoulder. Yikes, he was closing in on her. "So what you gonna do with it once you catch it?"
She was having fun teasing him. He took it so well.

Jomund laughed as he chased her a bit, skidding around the corner and losing a bit of his ground as he scrambled to keep from falling... He managed a save, just in time, though he did smack his foot into a rather large stone, he did manage to stave off the swear as he got back into chaising her.
"*grunt* I don't know, pinch it maybe, oh! I know!" He laughed and smirked at her. "Maybe I'll get a frim hold of it and never let it go!"
She was making this way too easy for him...

Joi's eyes grew wide and she meeded again. Moving her hands to cover her butt as she ran. "My butt." she called back to him. He ain't grabbing my butt to never let go ... Tis mine. She was still very naive in her way of thinking, not picking up exactly all the connotations in what Jomund's been saying to her.
She was getting a bit winded, not used to running this fast, this hard, for this long. Time for evasive manuvers. She slowed up a bit, and turned to face him, she had a sly grin on her face, but kept her hands on her butt. Time to see how spry HE is.

Jomund laughed and gave chase, he was getting winded as well, he'd not run like this in a long while. When she spun he grinned.
"It might be your butt now, but when I catch you it's mine!" He laughed and slowed down, starting to get all stalky-pouncy on her. He crept towards her somewhat quickly.

Joi squeaked again, "My butt!" she declared. Her stance weaved back and forth a little as she waited for him, ready to dive away from him when he got closer. "IF you catch me!" she teased and laughed, a slightly wicked undertone to her voice with that statement.

Jomund grinned. "Then you chose the wrong game hun, cause I am the TAG MASTER! This is my favorite game just so you know, it was the only game I'd ever play..." He grinned and stuck his tongue out at her, dashing at her playfully, ready to leap to one side as she did...
He was GOOD at tag.

Joi raised her brow a bit and looked at him, accepting his challenge. "We'll see about that, Tag Master." She gave a cute wink and as he dashed towards her, she lept backwards, aided of course by her wings, but not so much that it was noticeable. She wasn't cheating persay, just ... not ready for him to catch her yet. Jomund was too fun to tease and egg-on to let it be over just yet.

Jomund laughed and kept chasing her. "Oh, I am so going to get you!" He laughed, letting her get away. He could 'use' his wings if he wanted, but where would be the fun in that hrm? He was having more fun watching her move than anything else. Of course, this was once again making thoughts of naughty quality start to float into his mind, so he went to town in his head with a stick, beating them back down into the gutter of his mind, trying to keep his thoughts pure and platonic...
Yeah... That wasn't working at all...

Jomund must have had lots of practice hiding his thoughts and emotions, or Joi was just that oblivious. I vote the latter personally. She didn't know of his internal struggle and was merely enjoying a rather entertaining game of tag with her friend. At one point, she think that they were expelling an awful lot of energy considering they still needed to scale a mountain before dark.
At that thought, she figured it best to 'let' him catch her. Maybe giving chase to him would be fun? "Oh I doubt that!" she taunted and turned to run, "accidently" tripping up and stumbling slightly before regaining her footing.

Jomund grinned and pounced, wrapping his arms around her and giving her a sound tackling to the ground. He did try to be gentle about it as they landed, spraling his legs to either side of her as the landed so he didn't land atop her...
If Vale had seen this... Jomund would be dead, as it put them in a rather erotic and compromising position... And we ALL know how Vale is about that...
Of course, that was the last thought on Jomund's mind as he looked down into her eyes and grinned. "Tag..." He chuckled, figthing the urge to just lean down and lock lips.
She's gorgeous, smart, hella sexy, and I bet she's a good kisser... His thoughts raced as he started to move off of her and get up again. But... No, she's not yours to touch... He inwardly chastised himself. Something that pretty deserves more than the dirt that you are... He was of course, refering to how badly his parent's coloring had made him... He was not the most handsome of Pae coloring wise, that was for certain. Besides, you're just going to be her friend and that's it... She can do far better than you, and her father HATES you, you will not put her through that much pain... Not if you really love her... He did pinch her bum as he stood and winked at her playfully as he started up the path again at a light jog, they were getting close to the rock face midpoint.
And you do, so... Let her go, and let her be happy... He was glad she couldn't see his face now... 'Cause he was crying.

Joi squealed rather loudly when he tackled her. She thought he'd tag her, maybe smack her butt as a tag even, but not completely pounce her. She laughed as they fell to the ground and she tried squirming and wriggling free, but as soon as they came to a stop, she looked up at him. Whoa, her heart pounded hard in her chest, feeling like it was gonna just jump right out and make a bloody mess. Unblinking, she stared right back into his eyes. What was it that seemed different about them? Maybe she just... never noticed. After a second, she blinked and shook her head, glad he was climbing off as she was suddenly rather warm. "You have green eyes." She comments, sounding like she is informing him in case he didn't know. But really, she was just trying to say something to break the slight awkward silence.
However, Jomund must have been wanting to break the silence too as when he pinched her butt, she squealed. "Hey!" It was at least enough of a distraction from her current train of thoughts to get her head back out of the clouds. She sprung to her feet to chase after him as he kinda left quickly. Duh, we're playing tag. Her plan: Smack his butt HARD to get even.

Jomund wiped his eyes quicly to hide the tears as he spead up his pace. Yeah... He did have green eyes... hers were... Gold, such pretty gold eyes...
He slowed his pace to a walk as he got lost in thought, wondering if he should have taken the chance and kissed her... He shook his head. No, no, it would have ended poorly he was certain... Quite certain. He reached the rockface and looked up, not even thinking they were still playing tag.

Joi smirked seeing him slow down. Did he forget, why was he running away if he did? Must be wanting me to catch him. Fluttering her wings to make her step lighter, so she was more quiet, she snuck up quickly behind him and pulling her hand back far, holding it for just a moment before letting it snap and go sailing straight for Jomund's butt. The evil, devious grin on her face clearly showed she was having FAR too much fun being 'mean' to him.
"Haha! TAG!"
