Ami was already up and standing in front of the nearest hunter (who happened to be a stranger, but when it came to defending who the ******** cared), but she got a tripping start and ended up with a really shoddy defense.
"Gah s-" She was about to apologize but the insanity monster collided with her spear and she was a bit more concerned with that instead.

"Watch it, there's two of them!" Jordan moved back a few steps, keeping an eye on the stumpy shapes that came barreling out of the fog. One veered toward him, whipping its head around to slash a grey tusk across his leg; he stumbled, and then Ami was there, fending it off.
Way to look good in front of the newbies, he sighed.

Now that she had actually adjusted herself, she was standing a bit taller around Jordan, blocking hits more successfully. Well at least she wasn't making an idiot out of herself.

[Death - East]Aleister watched as they started finding little creatures to attack. A ghastly it seemed like was what found first. Of course it was easily beaten too.
He shifted slightly as he adjusted his ears looking around. "Uh.... guyyysssss......." He called illusion broke. HOLY CRAP. Wilson would have hit the monster Aleister had stumbled into. Really, he would have, but then Gale found another one as well. Behind the mask he was frowning childishly. Now the trainee had to decide which one to go for first. His gaze shifted between the cloudy one and the bigger one. After a short pause, he raised his cannons and smacked both of them into the larger monster. It didn’t look as tough as the other one, but it would be easier to focus on one target, so down went the easier one.

Aleister was too busy running by Gale to notice he had a mob. In face Al wanted away from the really big problem he'd found. Of course that lead to needing a place to hide.... which there was a lack of so instead he settled for panicking, at least for now.
