Going at his own pace, the reaper managed to clean a fair amount of the place. It looks like they were halfway done when a commotion from the back lot drew his attention. Oh Jack, now he was faced with a dilemma. Stay put and pretend you heard nothing, despite everyone else rushing to see? Or rationalize that investigating was simply him going with the flow since almost everyone else was doing it?

The figure seemed to absorb the student's attacks entirely - or perhaps they were just not showing any signs of weakness. The intimidation factor was working. A second later, they were all on their feet again, pushed back by a weapon that moved faster than they could react. Pushed back by someone who-
- "I think the correct answer would be," The figure was in the next second next to Jin, curved edged raised low, sweeping upwards- "You have not done anything yet."
Everything else dissolved the next moment into just a second of agony, a second of their Fear being torn apart piece by piece particle by particle -
- Until they dissipated. OOC - All those engaged in battle (or simply within vicinity/ quoted) have DISSIPATED, and ended up, ironically back at the main gates (here). The figure is gone. - They are now free to speculate as they please/ contact people/ talk amongst each other/ continue cleaning

There wasn't a chance to protest, not even a moment to scream as the incredibly efficient weapon dissapated him in a stretched out moment of searing agony that he'd be remembering in his nightmares for a long time to come.
He reappeared at the main gates and lay there traumatised for a bit. He'd get back to cleaning when he could forget the words and forget the pain that followed.

The punch didn't take. No matter how much energy Rowly pushed forward behind it he couldn't make contact and before he knew what was what or exactly what the figure had said he felt a slicing, taring, hot and boiling pain. The were penguins mouth was opened as if he was going to scream this entire time he felt the pain but nothing came out. Every atom of his existence felt like it was being ripped away as the destruction of him self bursted through his being. The were penguin manged to close his eyes before the fear was taken completely from him.
And then his eyes were opened once again. The main gate was where he'd reappeared. Same clothing, hair was still neatly combed back, and there wasn't a scratch on his body as far as he could tell.
Rowly was fine.
The memory of what still happened had him grasping his middle nervously. Did he just disparate ? Everything was so unexpected and so quick the were penguin was not sure.
"Stray reapers..?" Mused from his mouth.

They weren't do anything to him at all. Frustrated, Jinhai took a step backwards, his hands clenched into fists, being thrust backwards by the force of the power - of whatever it was that this stranger had. Jinhai's tail lashed behind him and then -
- "You have not done anything yet."
The voice came from right beside him. He didn't even have time to react before the weapon swung out, his eyes flashing towards Kato, wide and frightened and then -
Pain.
So much pain, but -
It was gone. He was gone, and Jinhai was back, standing in front of the gates as though nothing had ever happened. He lifted a hand, pressing it to his chest almost absently, his concern elsewhere, eyes raking the crowd for his friends.
"Dis?"
"...Kato?"

Yet? The sloth was in no mood to do any sluething or pondering. However, he soon felt a horrible sensation he never could have imagined. The strange Reaper's attack was a long agonizing feeling. Ever inch of him was pulsing in unimaginable pain. He felt his very core get torn piece by piece unti the searing white torcher ended with dissipation.
Everything was fuzzy. White.
Slowly, the sloth opened his eyes. He was at the gates. Had.. that simply been a nightmare?

In the end, the decision was made for him when the students he had seen rushing off reformed at the main gates. "Ouch, what happened to you? I heard some noise earlier coming from the back. You just come from there?" he asked, offering a hand to Rowly.

Rowly was still grasping his middle when he heard a questioning voice. It took a moment for the questions to register with his brain after the shock of such power he'd witnessed. "I'm not sure. Some freak of a reaper showed up and kicked all our asses," Rowly frowned, "Just came and went. Didn't really give us much to go by."

His loot from the lake, unfortunately, was not on him anymore. A bunch of rings and a tilted crown on his head was just a wee bit suspicious, just a bit. Instead they were stashed under the rest of the things in his room. Reluctantly, Dabir made his way over to a cleaning gnome and to his dismay, once again found himself at the slime tank.
No. Why. Just…no.

The pain came unexpectedly, and as it ripped through him, Dis didn't even have time to curse. When he opened his eyes however- What? He remembered the pain, the light...so why was he back here of all places? Sitting up he shook his head. Augh, at least he wasn't double dead. His name called he looked over. "Right here Jinhai." A groan as he stood. "The jack was that all about?"

Jinhai shook his head, feeling as though he had just been run through a blender - or beaten by a stranger with an unknown weapon capable of destroying their FEAR.
"I'm...I'm not sure, I..."
He trailed off, his eyes scanning the students milling about. Something was missing, something -
"Kato."
His voice was calm, despite the odd gnawing sensation beginning in the pit of his stomach. Jinhai twisted around, his tail dragging on the ground, taking a few steps back, then forwards, then back again, searching through the students again.
"Kato. Where is Kato."

Manny ignored the insult the penguin monster made about reapers, attributing it to the unpleasant sensation of being attacked. "What'd he, she look like?" This sounded like something his fellow SCREAMers should know, after all, equality amongst Halloweeners was key and if they were attacking their own then that sort of defeated their goals. Unless of course said Reaper was one of those supremist or something.

Dis rolled his shoulders back, sighing when he noticed a rip in his shirt. He'd have to get that fixed. "Hmmm" The only guess the vampire could make- "Maybe we came across a dragon's old trove? Looked like a reaper with that scythe though."- wasn't very good. Shrugging, he went over, fussing a bit at the dirt on Jinhai. "Kato?" Looking around he frowned. "That is odd. He made run but... usually doesn't just.. fly that fast. Usually he screams too." Voice of experience.

He was beginning to feel something low in his stomach, curling up his throat, diffusing into his mind. Jinhai took another step backwards, his head whipping to the side - left, right - and then back behind him and in front again.
"Kato's not here."
The words sounded harsh, awkward, terrible, even to his own ears. "Kato's not here," Jinhai repeated, and he pushed his braids away from his face, swiping at the black strands that had fallen across his forehead.
"He's not here, where is he, where did he go, Dis, he's not here - "

As much as Dis dislike losing control and breaking down, seeing Jinhai worried sent the vampire into a bit of a hyper sensitive mode. Kato wouldn't run off like that, not without at least telling Jinhai. The guy didn't have friends, but he liked Jinhai. Sort of. "No." He frowned. "He's not." Scanning the area, Dis looked for the cloaked figure, or any sign to where they might have gone. "You don't think... that reaper went to those caves? Kato might have followed them." Again, doubtful. Pulling out his phone he sent out a text. "Maybe someone has seen them?" SKELLYTEXT FROM DESIDERO Anyone seen Kato? Boil went missing. And no, this isn't a bootycall. Me and Jinhai are by the back lot looking for him. If you see him, send him over.
