Mot smiled fondly, nodding as Lizzy put everything away. "Anything for a friend."
The reaper sat in silence for a short moment, pondering something to get Lizzy's mind off of her grave thoughts. "Hey, let me treat you to lunch. Come on. A nice cafe or something. Let's enjoy the rest of the day."

"Alright... I want Mac and Cheese! And eye scream after!" Lizzy replied with a forced smile, going along with Mot's plan of 'don't think about it', "It's been a while since we hung out for the sake of hanging out anyway..."

"Mac and cheese?" Mot tried not to laugh. Lizzy was trying to be perky, but Mot would need to really help her along with the feeling better part.
"Yeah. Come on!" The reaper took the ghoul by the hand and led her out of her room, away from that desk. He'd make sure she didn't have time to think about all this, and focus on a day of cafes and shopping.

"MAC and cheese," She repeated, offering Mot a genuine smile as she allowed herself to be dragged out the room, and out of the house.
It was... Nice to have support at a time like this. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad, after all.
