Ashe chuckled softly at the folf's joke. "Is that so? Though... Isn't assassination and murder the same? It's all homicide." She was about to say more when Valerie shuffled up behind her and another...person joined them.
At the sight of the demon she crossed her arms and scowled, "I suggest you shut your mouth before you loose your tongue. Or should this 'shell' remove something a little more...dear to you?" She detested when there was talk like that in front of her.

The demon looked at the female Ashe and let sinister try to creep its way across its face. It failed, for an ugly demon he wasn't the "scary" sort. "You wish, I don't even have one of those," he didn't, "I'm not that kind of demon." He licked his lips, something that became a rather grotesque gesture for what he said next, given his long thin tongue. "Doesn't stop me from wanting though." Probably would be best if he were to get away from this particular subject now. "Whatever, are you a demon?" He asked the female. Well, at least the Ashe gave him something more than a stare. He shrugged at her comment and thought a moment to himself. Had he stepped in somewhere he aught not have stepped?
"It is a world where life isn't fair and people decided it was a great idea to play with genetics. Who knows what anyone was thinking? Top that off with magic, miracle, and psychic power and we have a whirlwind of crazy whiskersnitching and dimensional travel," he said shrugging a bit, "To answer your question though, I generally am sent to kill things, yes. However, that is not all of what my missions entail, and I am not authorized to tell you any more than that. So, I have killed people, but I do not particularly desire to do so."
He let out a bit of a sigh, curious of this person... It seemed he had upset a person he had just met, and he did not seem all that agreeable of a person anywho. So the folf stepped to the side and a bit closer to Ashe. He had no magic to speak of, but surely a girl that is talking to a demon in such a manner did. Bullets work great against magic users, when they aren't ready for them.

Ashe snorted, "I don't wish. Besides, I have someone much better then you could possibly be." But he dropped the subject. At his next question she shrugged and tried to look unimpressed, "I'm no demon. I'm a dragon."
She looked to the folf as he stood next to her with a weary smile.

Silkax will refrain on commenting what two reptillians of opposite genders can do together.
He sighed, "Well at least this one kills people, he may yet become a demon."
Silkax looked around disheartened that there may not be another demon in this place.
The sky rumbled with greater fervor than the volume of music could mask. It seems as though the red storm above was getting worse, and to accentuate this, it began to mist a dreary red mist over the party. This did not stop anyone, or rather, it didn't stop the Faceless Nobodies. It didn't interfere with equipment, and though the lightening began striking ever closer, bringing the crash and wavering of thunder, the electronics of the party never hissed or malfunctioned. But that was to be expected.
Like the trays before them, umbrellas began to float out to the guests in offering, a way of defying the storm and continuing the party.

Reve's confidence in her made her smile, although she was thinking he obviously may be a bit off, unless he was surrounded by even stranger happenings. The beady eye of his crow pulled her attention, "Is he always at your side?" She find it curious, its black plumage shined with the lights, and as he flew he all but seemed to be engulfed by the darkness like a second skin.
Lost in the sound of the music, she started realizing how bodies were starting to enclose on her. Looking worriedly, she moved to Reve's side with a nervous laugh, "I should warn, I don't do well in confined spaces. In fact, I'm quite atrocious." She also didn't want to mention that her corporeal form was a facade, and in tight spaces, pressed up against bodies, she had a tendency to revert to a less tangible form. She looked up with Reve, hoping she didn't turn to a spirit on such an exciting night. Heck, she had never been able to accomplish her corporeal form, but something told her something here was allowing her to.
"In fact," she stated, her eyes wide looking up to him. "Is it just me, or are these party goers acting strange, as if..." She paused looking for the right word, as the crystal glass of several empty, and freshly filled shot glasses, and wine glasses fell to the floor with the sharp pang of glass shattering, and scattering across the floor with their sudden collision, their small explosive deaths sending their material under the heeled boots and heels of dancers. Lissi looked concern, even as she danced, and turned over the glass, her steps elicited no sound like others. She wasn't sure if she was enjoying the turn of events. She ignored it though, the dancers made enough noise to cover the lack of hers. "Where did they all come from?"

What was he doing here? Was this even the right place? Could this possibly be the right place?
A platter bumped into Kyler and paused, as if to offer him a drink, and in the split second it was better to take something than to be asked again later, his hand pointed at something at random before realizing that there was no waiter behind that plate. He stared for a moment, almost as if gazing upon the empty space might reveal a camouflaged form of a waiter, perhaps. But nothing appeared, and Ky merely took a drink out of courtesy – to whom, he wasn't so sure.
He continued to mill about the quad. He wasn't a complete stranger to these types of parties, but having to search for someone in one wasn't something he had to do every day. And for all his years living under the same household as his brother, he was ashamed to not have an inkling of where he might find him at such a setting.
He didn't have anything formulaic in mind with which to search for his brother – eventually he found that he was merely drifting to the flow crowd, and mindful of shattered glass after one mindless step on a rogue shard. After a while, as he was nearing the centre of the area, he stopped and tapped the nearest person on the shoulder. "Excuse me." He noticed that his voice was a bit deeper than what he was used to. "This question might sound a little out of place, but what is this place?" He blinked, and that was when he realized that the people around him had no faces. And that the sky was crying.

Sassie nibbled on the tidbits of food that passed by her way. She didn't dare approach anyone. She stood in the corner and watched all mingle. She wasn't sure as if she could say something much less the right thing. She was always so socially awkward around new people. She smoothed out the fabric of her skirt. She figured at least then she would look busy.

The folf shrugged off the comment made by Silkax. Sure he had killed people, but he had no intention of becoming a demon for it. His fur stood on end as the air seemed to feel a bit more uneasy.
"Mmm... somehow I think it is getting to be my cue to leave this popsicle stand," he said smiling to Ashe. He bowed gently to her and reached up to ruffle her hair playfully after rising again, "It was a pleasure to meet you. My name is Carousel. I apologize for not introducing myself before."
Carousel's tail swayed nervously as he stood there. A dragon was an impressive beast of majesty, and he had never had the fortune or misfortune of crossing paths with one before. He had very limited experience with anything supernatural or magic. His experience relied heavily on science and technology. Sadly, it seemed that this place was not a place where either could prevail and he felt outmatched by the air itself. On the bright side he did meet a nice gal.

Earlier, when Lissi had taken note of the 'crow', Reve had let a lopsided smile creep onto his face. "Yeah," he said as the crow called out into the night. It did seem to disappear when it flew away, but the phantom figure looked away, his smile disappearing all the same. "I've had him with me since... since I was little. He never lets me go anywhere without him. It's like..." He had to mull about in his head for a moment before coming up with the right words. "He's my only guardian left."
Later, when the Nobodies began to shift toward his newest acquaintance, Reve had already shifted into gear. When she mentioned her discomfort of thick crowds, he replied, "Same. My experiences in crowds have always been... unpleasant." Even as the glasses began to shatter, Reve stood as still as a statue, his eyes transfixed to the nucleus of the mass of Nobodies. Rain began to fall as the lovely spirit began to dance and ask the most pertinent question of the day. The apparition answered grimly, "The twisted imagination of a creator who sees people as faceless dolls."
As the light downpour began in earnest, Reve started to cover his head with his jacket. Before he could even speak, thunder rolled across the sky, and a lone umbrella lowered itself over him. Batting it away, he glanced toward one of the buildings. "Let's get out of this." As he began to take off through the crowd, he paused to get a glance at every individual he could. Making a mental note about his initial observations, he slowly weaved through the mass of bodies, stopping every two seconds to be sure he had not lost sight of his companion. It was, in his mind, imperative to keep together.

The Faceless Nobody poked by the errant searcher stopped dancing and "looked" at him a moment.
It made a clicking noise from somewhere inside it. like the death rattle of a drowning victim. Then it grabbed his hands and started to swing dance with him. Not forcing him to move in any way, just moving itself while holding his hands.
Silkax noticed this and clapped his hands together, "Alright! I was wondering when someone would dance with the Nobodies!" Silkax went over and started jigging himself, but it seemed the Nobodies wanted to avoid him. But there he was, a demon-lizard dancing in the blood rain during the end of the world.
Eerily serene.

(( jakhial your one liner to avoid my teleporting you was not good enough, you touched me for one and i could transport you without that so batting my hand off to the side and then turning away was very illiterate. ))
Being very annoyed by my hand being batted away by the demon, pushing my hand down into my pocket and grip ahold of my deck of cards flicking the pack open and shimmering the cards to all of the guests around me including the faceless nobodies and shimmering them away apart from the lizard demon who i shimmer into the middle of this circle which i have made. I continuously shimmer the guest out of the circle if they try to walk in so only me and the lizard are in is small arena which i have made. Turning to him and shimmering another card over to the music and turning it down so that my voice, the thunder and the mumbling of the voices could be heard, the cards create a circle above and around the circle going into a clockwise motion having the blood droplets shimmered away from the cards keep them flawless.
" good evening all, sir lizard you should not of been so rude to me, i did not want to make a scene but by how rude you were i thought i would make such a scene worthy of such an event. You should of came to the roof, i just wanted some information but now i guess every one will have to know, so willyou oblidge me and give me this information or will i have to recieve it another way my dear scaly friend ". Moving my hand to my hair where i unclip my ponytail, it falls down to my waist revealing two curved crescent blades which are facing outward I also shimmer my hilt from my belt and the telescopic sabre begins to push upwards and the four foot blade is revealed. As the lines from the sabre seem to forge together andbecome one solid piece of black crystal with a white outline of the edge of the blade, as the lightning and the fire inside of the crystal begins to dance around with each other inside of the blade. Then the lightning strikes my mysterious sabre making the crystal begin to glow and then spin, as a twisted smile appears on my face.
Whispering some words, which i focus on and shimmer them into reve's ear. " get to safety, this will be one hell of a light show if he does not give me the information i want. " slowly taking my jacket off followed by my shirt then shimmering it onto a gargoyle on the roof followed by my shirt which i then aldo shimmer onto the gargoyle. Revealing the dark dark elf tatoo's and carving which create a masterpiece of a story filled by words, pictures and patterns, I was more than a normal dark elf trained in secret the true name of myself never to be mentioned only a whisper is known by my own people of my existance I am myth, a shadow.
" so my dear monsterous friend, what will it be " smiling towards him very slowly, with my shirt gone the mechanism's on my fore arms are revealed which and two long pieces of sharp metal which at the right flick of the wrist a deadly blade would flick with precise deadly accuracy and with a deadly painful and drowning death from your own blood filling up everything that is penetrated. Stretching slowly a massive crack of the bones and muscles moving around as i appear slightly taller with my veins pulsing with ancient dark blue power.

Silkax found his dance interrupted by the crazy guy again. He watched in awe and wonder as the man scattered cards all over the ground and people stepped back, not because of any sort of magic, but out of spectacle. The spectacle of watching someone try to break the rules.
'The Doctor' flung his cards this way and that, and the music lowered, mostly for everyone to hear the rise of far away laughter, maniacal, dangerous, pushed to its limit on what it would take because now, now it was time to deal with what one had once hoped would not be an on-going problem. Foolish was that one to believe in the betterment of mankind, but that one will not base his judgment on others on the actions of one.
"For I," Ed's voice thundered in the mist, "Am a merciful GOD!" along with the cliche accentuation of a role of thunder, punctuating "god."
Silkax was the first to respond after the man finished gibbering to himself and readied a crystal sword that had nothing of any sort going on in it whatsoever, "What are you doing?" He turned to look at one of the guests, then to address a Faceless Nobody, "What is he doing?" He looked again at the card-thrower.
"You can't do what it is you think you're doing, you never could, not here, not now, not like this, and certainly not to me buddy. Nor to Ed, hell, I wouldn't even try it on the Nobodies. You know why?" He was going to explain why while stepping forward and lick across his scaly chops, "Because it's Bad Manners that's why, because it isn't right, this isn't about you, this isn't about anyone here, it's about all of you, and you either get that through your marble-headed skull and shape up or By God."
"BY ED!"
"BY ED, you will find yourself in a place of misery only isolation can describe." The lizard had grown, and sprouted feathers, looking more like a dinosaur with each passing second, fire was in his eyes and it burned with utter hatred and disgust.
"If he'd let me I'd eat you, I'd chew you up and suck the sin from your veins, now put your cards and blade away and mingle, and if you so much as stain the grounds with your opulent filth again I don't care what punishment I get for it, your soul will be mine."
The music, which had stopped, began again, and the party for the Nobodies continued as normal. The Demon Silkax huffed into his regular form and sauntered away, leaving the crazy man where he stood.
