Watching Jake handle the charging spike was reassuring. Good. Manage the electricity and they had this. Probably.

Oh, how she did want to cut him. But alas~ Sherry was having none of that.
Just like she was having none of this beast hurting Jake, either. "Watch that spike over there!" She pointed. It was looking sparkly. "I think it's working up another charge!"

Good thing he heard Sherry, and turned just in time to see the spike sparking. He was having none of that.
He plunged his daggers into the charge point, standing back as he let them absorb the electricity.
Well, he supposed that was ONE way to charge his runics. This titan was like a giant battery pack, he supposed.

"That's the way!" She watched Jake with satisfaction. "I think the stabilizer is almost ready, too." It looked like they almost had this one.

The titan's movement starting to become sluggish, it was a lot easier to strike now, and the plates shifted, revealing weak spots.
Jake grinned, plunging his daggers into them, as well as his artifact, for good measure.
The creature roared in pain, and he stuck the infuser in, making sure to pull out his weapons before disengaging.
"Time to run!"

"Got it!" Sherry nodded. Time to ditch the beast until after the blast.
Equipment had to go, too. Sherry's fingers flew over the stabilizer, attempting to get it disengaged. It was a stubborn piece of tech, though.

Stubborn and a bit clunky. Sherry was not leaving the area quite as fast as she'd like. The thrashing creature was not helping her in the slightest. In fact, she was pretty sure it was hindering her.

At least the stabilizer was loose and ready to run with.
But the angry titan apparently didn't like that idea. The flailing beast gave Sherry a good old fashioned hit to the back, and the Life trainee hit the ground, though not nearly as hard as the titan had hit.

Jake had just landed when he saw his girlfriend hit the ground.
NOT COOL man, NOT COOL.
At least she managed to get the stabilizer down, and he didn't bother watching it flail and dissipate into gas as he ran over to Sherry, scooping her up in his arms and getting the hell out of there.
