Their not orange either though.
Yes, you're right.
Sorry if I did not explain very well.
Many autism organizations like to use a puzzle piece as their symbol. The general idea behind this is "solving the puzzle that is autism." This suggests that autistics are puzzles, when really they are just people who have a different sense of awareness and way of thinking about things than most others do.
It is very annoying to me when people suggest they need to "break through an autistic's shell" and reach the "normal child" inside.
Ah, I see now. Thanks for explaining.
That is annoying. Autistics are people and their austism is part of them. From what I know, it's more that normal people are a puzzle to autistics than autistics are a puzzle for normal people.

People in Africa who live in poor conditions have nothing to do with clown noses, but Comic Relief is extremely successful
I don't understand the correlation here.
Sorry, I forgot they don'[t have Comic Relief in the US. 'Comic Relief' is a charity that helps people in Africa who live in poor conditions. They also help people in the UK, but they're more well-known for helping people in Africa have proper food, water and shelter. They have a 'Red nose day' where most people buy red noses (clown noses) and the profits go to charity. People then do silly things (like dress as fairies to school or wear underpants on their head) to raise more money for the charity. Comic relief is represented by the red nose, but just like a puzzle is not an autistic person, only representing it, the people helped by Comic relief have nothing to do with clown noses.
