Vlad simply nodded when asked if they might need a ride. Yes, he had ways of transportation, but it would be far easier to just ride with Alvin. "If it isn't too much trouble on your part of course. I think it would be best if we all rode together don't you?"

He wasn't sure if this was the best move for them however. It would at least keep the driver, employed by the teen's father from informing the man that Vlad and Sal were coming. After all, he was pretty sure Alvin's father knew just who Vlad was and it would give the man time to move Tina to a new location, which he couldn't have.

"Sal you don't need to apologize for me, you didn't do anything wrong." He said softly feeling a bit worse now that Sal was apologizing to Alvin. "It would be much easier to travel together yes. It would also keep the driver from informing your father of us coming with you." Or so he hoped anyways.

Seeing how Sal and Alvin were getting along Vlad put his arm around Sal and held him close. Yes, he had been told by Sal that his mate would never leave him, but he was protective and possessive. It did seem that Alvin more or less saw Sal as a parent figure, probably because his own father wasn't the best. He could see why the male would like Sal, who wouldn't love the merman?

"Your college gave me a call to meet you, and as part of my duty, I feel it necessary to escort you back home. I can say that my partner came with just to see the neighboring town since he hasn't been out of Arendale before."

He smiled and laughed. "Or I could just get the driver here to think it was his idea to invite us. Whichever works."

"Does that idea of my ability scare you that much? I suppose if you really knew who I was it would terrify you. I wont do so however, maybe you will figure it out on your own at some point." He said after a moment. He heard noise from inside the motel and he looked towards the door. "I believe your driver is awake."

"Yes it is because I am a vampire, but Im not just any vampire. Not that it matters right now."

When Alvin asked about Arendale Vlad nodded. "Yes, I can tell you about my home. I was here for its creation after all. To be more specific, I was the one who brought this country together." Vlad would explain more about his home and how it was founded while they drove back. This way the driver would think that the boy was just following through with the questions for his report. Of course he would have to say that it was passed down through his family's history as he is the 'descendant' of the original man that founded it.

Vlad looked at the teen and smiled again. It seemed that he found what the boy liked and wasn't so afraid that he would be killed.

As the driver came out Vlad put on his most diplomatic face and held out his hand. "Vladimir Rouminouff. It is a pleasure to meet you and Mr. Mathis here. I was informed by his college that he would be here and I thought I would give him the history of the town and its creation. The information has been passed down from my ancestors. This is Sal my partner." He said looking at the merman at his side. "I apologize for him, he is a bit shy and is unable to actually speak he is mute." This would also explain how Sal wasn't actually talking to the driver or Alvin.

Vlad smiled when they were allowed to return back with Alvin and his driver. He tensed slightly when the man wanted to call his boss but Alvin managed to dodge that bullet rather easily. He let out a soft sigh that thankfully no one would actually see.

"Thank you for the opportunity to see Arabor. My Sal hasn't been out of Arendale before. It will be nice to show him the surrounding towns."

On the drive back, Vlad answered all of Alvin's questions about his home knowing that they were getting closer to his daughter and the man that was keeping her against her will. He was becoming a bit antsy, but he didn't let it show in anything more then his hands opening and closing. "Sal sweetie, you can rest if you wish. I believe we still have a ways to go before we get there."
