JULIUS Julius, who so rarely smiled, positively beamed. He was clearly delighted by Turq's response. Never having shared his work with anyone before, he'd never known praise or appreciation for it. He pointed out various bits of machinary, there were cogs and wheels and levers and buttons all over the place. Everything was shiny, all copper and brass and nickel etc. It was clear Julius kept everything polished and in good order. "I like to make as much as I can myself. I make my own clocks, built my own computer, made the toaster in fact! I want to slowly replace everything with my own handcrafted version." he told him. "With your help now, of course. Where next? Study or gardens?"

Hiroki "Turq" Allans Turq listened to Julius as he pointed out all the knobs and stuff. Hearing that he wanted to replace all the appliances with his own versions, with Turq's help from now on, the turquoise-eyed young man looked down and poked his fingers together yet again. "But, I don't know how to build things. I'll probably just end up breaking it...." Turq looked up when asked what he wanted to see next. "How about the garden. I've never seen a garden before. Well....Not that I remember."Puppy Peter Yeah. Most of my characters are the generic cute ukes. Except Mitsu. Mitsu's a whore and not afraid to show it. @_@

CLCyrus biggrin I would love to see Sister Brigit's face if she read that! "I wasn't allowed out of doors much as a child, I rarely saw a garden" Julius replied. "Which is why my garden is so important to me now, I suppose. I work very hard on it. It's the perfect mix of wild and tamed. There's a vegetable plot and some fruit trees, too." He offered Turq his hand to lead him to the garden. "We could have a picnic lunch out in the garden tomorrow if you like."

Hiroki "Turq" Allans So, it was like the warehouse. Turq never went outside befkre today. "I want to help in the garden as much as I can. I bet it's fun. And, not as dangerous as dealing with inventions." They walked outside and Turq's eyes twinkled. So pretty! It wasn't that fancy, but that was okay. Fancy didn't mean beautiful all the time. "Can we? It'd be amazing! And, romantic~!" He blushed and looked down, swaying shyly. "Um....W-Well, if that's your thing."Puppy Peter Yeah....Religious people hate me when they see Mitsu. But, he's my trademark. I love him. Especially since he's an m-preg character.

CLCyrus That sounds fascinating actually! Yeah, Sister Theresa once told me I would 'suit a more secular environment' lol she doesn't like me. JULIUS Julius smiled and nodded. "Spend as much time out here as you like" he told him. "I'm more than happy to have you gardening with me. You can claim a patch as your own if you wish. The vegetable garden is the other side. It's fenced off with chicken wire so the rabbits don't get at the veggies, so always keep the little gate closed." He suppressed a smirk when Turq said it would be romantic and then looked so coy. "I agree. Gardening and picnicking will be romantic" he replied. "Shall I show you the rest of the hosue or do you want to just explore?"

Hiroki "Turq" Allans So, he could come out to the garden whenever he wanted. That was great. Turq was really going to like it here. "Okay. I'll be sure to keep the gate closed so the rabbits don't get in." Turq had a lot to learn about gardening. He didn't know rabbits could be bad for it. "Can I explore on my own? It's much more fun that way."Puppy Peter I put his profile up if you want to check him out.

CLCyrus Thanks, I'll take a look now. I'm posting quite a few new characters slowly. JULIUS Julius smiled and nodded. "Of course. Go where you wish, take as long as you like. " he told him. He thought for a moment. He didn't need to tell Turq to stay inside the main gate, not to go off of his property, did he? He didn't think he would do so and he didn't like to state it in case that worried the boy, made him feel trapped. "I'll be in my study if you want me, okay?"

Hiroki "Turq" Allans Turq beamed and hugged Julius happily. "I'll try not to break anything." He gave the other's cheek a kiss before bouncing off to explore the house. Turq made sure to stay within the fenced area.

CLCyrus I really like Mitsu; he'd give Sister Theresa a heart attack I think! JULIUS Julius watched Turq bouncing off excitedly and smiled to himself. He rubbed his cheek where the boy had kissed him. He had never been kissed before that he could remember, not even just a peck on a cheek for a caregiver. He went to his study and settled down to his writing.

Hiroki "Turq" Allans Turq explored the outside of the house, staying inside the fence at all times. When he was done outside, he went inside to explore. The house was really nice, and the things Julius built were the best parts of the house. Julius was amazing with his hands. He used his hands to make the appliances, right? When he was done exploring, Turq went up to the study--which he had found earlier--and knocked. He had a flower from near the fence, a pretty little pink one. "Julius? I found a flower near the fence. It's cute. I....I want you to have it~." Jeez, this was a very insignificant gift. He felt ridiculous all of a sudden. Why?

JULIUSJulius looked up from his typwriter when Turq appeared. He liked using the old-fashioned machine for typing up his manuscripts. His publisher knew he was eccentric and put up with the idiosyncracy because his books were so very popular, always bestsellers. So it was well worth getting an assistant to type up man's manuscripts onto a PC in the office. He stared and blinked. A...gift? He had never received a gift from anyone in his life. He stood up and went to Turq, gently taking the fragile pink flower from him. He leaned down and kissed him on the head. "I will put it in a flower press right away so it will not wilt. I will make a bookmark with it so I can keep it for always" he told him and hugged him.

Hiroki "Turq" Allans Turq giggled a bit when his head was kissed after Julius took the flower from him. But, then he raised an eyebrow and tilted his head. "Flower press? What's that?" It sounded complicated. "I saw the things you made. I think thwy're really cool. Was it hard to make them? Uh....What are you doing in here? Writing?" He said he was a writer, didn't he?

Julius smiled and shook his head. "It's not complicated. It's just two pieces of wood with sheets of paper between and clamped tightly together with a small metal brace" he told Turq. "You can watch me do it. I'll teach you. I'm glad you like all of my things. Sit in my chair, you can look at the typewriter and computer. Yes, I'm writing. You're welcome to read what is on the page - it's a romance action adventure novel, one of a long series all featuring the same hero."

Hiroki "Turq" Allans Turq smiled a bit. "So....The flower's pressed between the blocks? H-How does that save it from withering?" There were so many interesting things out here. He realy had a ton to learn. Sittig on the chair, he looked at the type writer and screen before lookin at Julius. "Shouldn't I read the previous books first? Your computer's neat, by the way. Looks like a TV in a second box made of wood."

"Well, it dries it out really quickly before there's a chance for the colour to fade" Julius explained. "You can read my books if you wish. I'd like that. Let me get you a copy of the first one." He went to a book shelf and fetched the book for him. "A TV in a box? It kind of is. With a heck of a lot of adjustments and additions and wiring and everything. Here's the book. It's about a guy called Jupiter Jackson. There's even a Jupiter Jackson comic and TV series now."
