This time the pokemon would not be ignored. She would land with a bounce in front of Naia facing the girl squarely. The little grass pokemon was determined not to let this trainer pass without a battle of some sort! If the trainer wanted to go on her merry way, she would have to pass through her first!

Seriously? Was this really happening? Naia couldn't help but stare as what looked like a living piece of fruit decided to plop down between her and the spot on the branch the girl needed to drop down from. For a few moments, Naia just stared at the bounsweet, blinking a few times. Then, with a neutral expression on her face, she unclipped Garnet's ball from her belt and let the misdreavus out. "...Icy wind." The command was given without any sort of emotion, and as if understanding her trainer's disbelief at the situation, Garnet complied and blew a frosty gust at the small grass pokemon with just as little emotion.
Rhyhorn successfully captured (Used one poke ball, one potion)
Mizuki would pick up the poke ball as he released the Rhyhorn right after capture. The song was still going on while he looked at the pokemon and pulled out a potion.
"Forget the past, cause we are livin in the present!
I ain't scared of my past, and now in fact
I am screaming out for my pride!"
The Rhyhorn realize quite quickly that this song was going to continue on, and so, he did the only sensible thing he could do. He roared just as Atiena landed back on the boy's shoulder. Ready to add back in her part.
IT ground the song to a halt.
"Okay, okay, I understand. You don't understand the music yet."
Mizuki replies with his hands up. The potion quite visible now.
"You are my first outside pokemon to try and train, so I am going to have find a place for you. Otherwise, I can't keep dead weight."
He told the Rhyhorn in away that was none too casual.
"So, now I just need a name for you. Something that will fit your appearance, since I can't place you in the musical aspect of our group just yet."
HE told the Rhyhorn who rolled his eye. The other one was shut close with blood dripping from it. He had literally been smacked in the eye earlier by the Murkrow's attack. Hard enough that he almost fainted from the pain. There was a very good chance, he might actually lose the eye as he started to pant in pain.
It was a good show of how much he hated their singing ...when he didn't even notice his own pain until after the song was done.
The boy would reach forwards slowly.
Newly caught, didn't mean completely tame.
Atiena would see what he was trying to do as she chirps at him.
((This is going to hurt, but he is going to heal your wounds or at much of it as he can possible heal. Otherwise, you might lose that eye, and you will definitely lose your life.))
She told him as the Rhyhorn snorted in irritation and just a drop of fear. Slowly, slowly, he would sink down in the snow to allow the boy better access to his face and his eye. Mizuki would take that moment to spray the potion directly on the wounded spot and move away as the pokémon thrashes about.
IT was a pretty bad injury and he knew it had to hurt like sin, but it needed to be done.
The blood would shush upon the snow as the pokemon shook his head ...splattering some as the wound bubbled and hissed. It would take a moment, but it would eventually stop and the eye would open to show that the pupil itself was okay now. Though there would be a scar around the edges of the eye itself. It would seem that he would forever wear the symbol of their battle.
Mizuki would touch him lightly around the eye as he nods his head at him once.
"Okay, I got your name. Though it's not very original, so I am going to call you for now ...Kovu."
He declares a bit smugly as he looks at his current amount of items.
1 potion down, one more left.
2 poke balls left.
If he had to leave now, Mizuki had at least accomplished half of his goal. A quick shiver would remind him that his feathery comrade wouldn't be dealing with the cold very well as the boy sighs a bit.
"Back under the hood, Atiena."
He lifted it to allow her back underneath as she snugs down in his hair once more to share his body heat. Meanwhile he looked at his new partner, Kovu.
"Being a rock and ground type, I am actually surprise to find a pokemon like you here. The Snow isn't good for you either."
Mizuki thought about that. Considering ice is one of this pokemon's weaknesses, it really made no sense for him to be here. The boy only shrugs as sends Kovu back into his poke ball.
Unlike Atiena, he couldn't simply put him underneath his hood, so there was little choice, at least until they find someplace warmer. Thus, Mizuki would put back up the speaker and reset his recorder so he was listening to his headphones once more.
Then one step at a time, he was off again to face his destiny.
The swirl of icy cold wind, an attack that could easily be fatal if hit.
Why would the Bounsweet dare risk her life in such a way by challenging Naia and Garnet?
Why would she face down death in such a hasty way, when, in a place full of bugs and birds ...her fate was already determined. A fruit pokemon that was meant to be eaten.
The Bounsweet smiled in the face of danger for one reason and one reason alone.
This was a Bounsweet that had determine long time ago, that she would be no one's victim.
She would train every day, every place, and every where to get stronger. Her leaf pull ups hadn't gone as well as hope, thanks to the fact that she had no arms, but this was a sure fire winner.
Beating trainers would make her super strong, super fast. That way she could evolve into a form that would no longer be at the bottom of the food chain.
This is why she couldn't, wouldn't let this chance slip away.
Time to put her training to the test as she flatten out the Sepal on her head to make the leaves on the side stand out solidly. Cold air sinks, while warm rises, and as the Icy wind drove towards her, the bounsweet tries to catch the hot air being forced forward and above the cold air to rise out of the way of the attack.
Her legs wasn't all that big either, so jumping was kind of out of the question for the fruit pokemon. Yet, she had devise this plan for survival in just this case, though she gulp lightly as she felt the tiniest stir of his body trying to rise.

The bounsweet's plan had been sound in theory, but a fatal flaw made it impractical: the bounsweet herself. With her plump body and stubby leaves, the pokemon couldn't quite gather the wind resistance needed to overcome her weight, so while she felt herself bobble and shudder, she was still more or less where she had been when the attack began. A horrific place for any grass type, right at the heart of an approaching blizzard. It chilled the fruit pokemon to the core, robbing her of her life instantly.
If the living fruit had done anything at all, it was to merely remind Naia that her misdreavus was still injured from her earlier romp in the test room. "Here, Garnet, eat up," the girl instructed as she pulled back out the oran berry she had been given moments before. While the ghost preferred more emotional meals over physical ones, she did need the boost in vitality, so she ate the berry from her trainer's hand in a few bites.
Once Garnet finished her meal, Naia looked over the bounsweet once more before continuing onwards and downwards. The frosted fruit pokemon surely made for a tempting treat, but Naia didn't want to risk becoming poisoned by an unfamiliar meal when she was stuck on an island. The pokemon may have smelled and looked tasty, but that could easily be a trick to fool predators into eating a deadly dish. The truth was far less sinister, but the girl had no way of knowing and thus decided to leave the corpse for something else to enjoy.

The pokemon's demise was a sad fate for a pokemon with a 20% survival and evolution rate. Thus, with it behind, and the ground starting to get closer and closer the two would continue on as a Seedot would jump from broad tree limb to another.
This pokemon wasn't bother with the do and don't of the world, and as long as no one bother it. It wouldn't be bothering them.
As Mizuki continued along his way, there would be a flash of gray that would quickly shoot across his path. But the Bunnelby seemed to heading away from the trainer, not towards him. Had something spooked him? Was something dangerous ahead? Only one way to find out. Either way, Muziki would not see any other pokemon in sight. He would be free to continue moving deeper into the island.

As Brian would continue on his journey, he would come across a Numel. The dopey looking camel would glance at the trainer before smiling broadly. Ah, finally. Someone to play. ">Would you like to play a game? Or would you rather try to force your way through?<" the pokemon would ask curiously. The trainer wouldn't be able to understand a word the pokemon said...so it might be a good idea to let out his Espurr to figure it out. With a tilt of his head, the Numel stood waiting to see what the trainer would pick.

Naia barely noticed another pokemon hopping around as she continued downward, this one shaped like a large acorn. The girl knew she aught to take advantage of the advantageous environment and train against some grass and flying type, raise Garnet's power... but the ground was close, and Naia wanted off this infernal tree. "C'mon Garnet, we've almost reached the ground," she told her partner as the young trainer continued on her way down. She wasn't about to make the same mistake as that bounsweet and underestimate something that didn't care about them.
The sound of something crunching as Naia's foot would smash down hard on something that was a bit more fragile than the normal trees and leaves. A squawk of sorrow and indignation as something would fly from underneath her. It's wings beating hard as it aims it at her face and at her clothing.
This time the battle would not be one that can easily be avoid. The anger and fire in the Pikipei's eyes made it clear as she would fly away from Naia and circle back around.
Her eggs.
Her children were gone.
And the one that took them from her, she would make them pay.
Naia was close to the ground, but it was still high enough that if she was knocked from the tree she would still take a good deal of injury. This bird was going to make sure she felt her pain, her sorrow, and if all went well ...she would make sure this trainer apologize to her dead children.
Mizuki would see the bunnelby race by, and find himself a bit surprised that it's coat hadn't change colors. It was after all still grey, instead of wearing a winter white. Then again, maybe that didn't apply to that species of pokémon.
After all, he had run into a Rhyhorn here, so maybe, this place was a just a strange refuge for some very strange pokemon.
The boy would only shake his head as he continue to listen to his headphone as he found one that he thought might fit their battles. Though whether he can teach it to Atiena or not, maybe later.
It was best for him to stick what already knew, plus, he needed to figure out a good one for Kovu.
Mizuki quickly found that the going was harder than he could imagine. His body sinking into snow drifts for what seemed like the hundredth time. He was better equip than normally, but that didn't mean he was equip for snow.
The cold was starting to get to him as he felt Atiena actually peck him hard in the head whenever he started to drift off or if he strayed from their current path. He was getting tired, and the snow as not helping as he felt himself going numb.
The boy was hoping against hope, that they would soon be out of this place soon, otherwise, he might have to call for an airlift just to save his own life.

Scruntch!
The sounds below Naia's foot caused the girl to look down. She had just enough time to see the goo and broken bits of shell in the nest below before she was forced to put up an arm to protect her eyes. A fury of feathers and talons attacked the girl's face before backing off for a few moments. "Gah, just my luck..." the young trainer grumbled as she lowered her arm to get a good look at her attacker. A pikipek, clearly the mother of the unfortunate clutch of eggs, was prepared to rage against the unlucky child.
Still being high up, Naia wasn't about to take the risk of being knocked to the ground. "Icy wind!" the girl commanded, a bit more panicked this time since this pokemon seemed interested in punishing Naia in particluar. Garnet let out a goulish giggle before blowing out a gust of frosty wind, hoping to catch the angry pikipek in the chilling breeze.
The anger mother's wings would beat hard against the wind as the surprise attack seemed to come out of nowhere. Her eyes never once losing contact with the one she despised as she powered herself upwards. She would not get trapped in that gust of wind. That was her plan as she power upwards to try and get the advance needed for her own attack.
As Mizuki slowly froze to death, he would come across a polar bear cub giggling away. The cub grinned and then rose from where he had been sitting in the snow. Finally! Someone he could play with. ">Let's play, shall we?<" the bear happily stated. It was obvious this cub wasn't going to let them continue merrily on their way.
