Did you know that animals like horses and deer aren't true herbivores? They'll occasionally and sometimes very purposely eat something meat-based! I read a story once about a horse that ate an entire Russian! I've also seen stories of horses that ate bird eggs they found in their pastures! This ties into why pigs are one of the most terrifying animals in the family Mammalia!

Fun Fact: A Mantis Shrimp, while only about 4 inches long (some specimens can grow quite large), can throw the fastest punch of any animal? It can strike with the force of a rifle bullet and can shatter aquarium glass and crab shells alike. That's why you won't see any being sold in pet stores. cat_whee

A “normal” incandescent bulb costs about 0.75cents per hour, and LEDs or CFLs cost only one-sixth of that – so leaving the lights on (either overnight or while you're at work for the day, say both are about 8 hours) costs you roughly 6 cents for a normal light and a bit over 1 cent for modern bulbs.

The first oranges from Southeast Asia were tangerine-pomelo hybrids and were in fact green. Oranges in warmer parts of Thailand and Vietnam retrain the color through maturity.

Happy Birthday!
My dog steals my yogurts, she snags the container spoon and all runs to the other side of my room (sleep in a furnished basement), crawls under a love seat knowing I can not get down on my knees to get her out (medical issues).
She eventually comes out and comes over to give met those "Im sorry mama" eyes and I cave everytime. I have a American Pitbull Terrier/American Bulldog Terrier female named Christmas Angel spoiled furbaby! LOL

Fun Fact about Revel: I have 7 pet rats, 8 mice, 3 birds, 3 cats, 12 fish, a dog and a bunny and getting another bunny next week as a companion for my lone bun that lost his friend a few weeks ago.
