"Humans complicate everything." The way she said that was tired, like she felt she had a lot of experience with this in her life. She leaned her head back, eyes closing. "Sure, there are people who just do hookups and one night stands but... Even that can be awkward."

She shifted on the bench for a moment, considering all of the ramifications of humanity and how ridiculous their interpersonal communications could be.

She might be a touch jaded towards her own species...

"Don't ever try to hit on them. Like EVER. They're part of a religion that would find that extremely inappropriate and potentially extremely offensive. It's a culture where the woman is expected to be a virgin when she marries... And there's a lot of other ramifications. Anyways, the point is there are so many different cultures amongst humans that figuring out ALL the rules"

Cheom shrugged, a little helplessly, wondering what she had inadvertently started with her attempts to coach her friend in human behaviorisms. "Well, I am sure you'll work it out."

It was all she could think to say.

"Of course. I'm glad to help you." She was not sure what to make of the petting, but just figured this was a case of 'He was a cat, this was a sign of friendly affection from a cat.' and just let it slide. "You can always contact me on... my ring..." Her tone was bemused by that. "If you have questions."

"Well, that's what friends are for, right?" She said, smiling, then sighing when she realized how much time had passed. "We probably should be heading back... It's getting on the late side, and I have a physics class tomorrow." She stood up, and stretched, then turned back to face him, eyes widening a little.

"You trust me with your personal email address?" She had come to realize how big a deal having someone's personal information was, after all.

"I never thought of it that way, really... It must be harder for you guys, when in your natural form. You're physically so small, and if a Chaos agent came after you..." Her eyes went wide with worry. "I... I will make sure, if I visit, I will do my best not to attract attention."

She watched him reach into the pocket space, a little envious of that unique skill that the Mauvians had, then controlled the urge to comment on how ADORABLE his stationary was. She simply smiled, her eyes gazing fixedly at her feet, to avoid making an idiot of herself.

When he handed it to her, she studied it, then shrugged. "I've definitely seen worse. I study under scientists. It's not quite Doctors, but... Well." She shrugged, then tucked the note safely away for the moment, with the plan to set it nearby when she powered down. "And since you just gave me your home address... My name, when I am not Cheom, is Seren Yong, my friend."

It was the best she could give him, when she lived with a bunch of other young ladies and did not want to risk the problem that might come from being observed ACTUALLY conversing with a cat.

"Who is Nicodemus? Is he a knight or a senshi?" She asked, curiously. "I promise to call, I would hate to startle your friends. I'm not usually the sort to pop in on someone uninvited, anyways."

"You're welcome, Arthur. You trusted me, after all."

She was about to take his hand and... send them home when he said that. "Shift back, then. I'll carry you back. If you want, when we get back, after I power down... I can give you a ride home, if you're really tired?" She sounded concerned.

"Ah! You guys live alone together? How does that work?" She sounded honestly curious, having never had much time to think about how the mauvians lived outside of their duties... Arthur was the only one she knew, really, and it had not come up. He had an address, so he must have a physical home. She thought he would mention it if he had a civ living there, after all. "Sorry if that's personal, just curious."

"And I would love to meet Nicodemus... Thank you. I appreciate the offer."

Once he was transformed, she picked him up and snuggled him close, standing up as she did so. She walked over to the elevator, and took them down, and back out of the entrance. "I bet... I can't imagine living without hands, or only having them part time, to be honest. But don't push yourself. I don't want you to get hurt, Arthur."

"Ah I see." She nodded a little, and gave him some ear rubs as they went down the elevator, finding herself half listening and half thinking how weird this was going to be until she adjusted... This was someone she had seen as a humanoid a moment ago, and when he was like that, the idea of ear rubs was...

Strange... to say the least. But like this, in his 'base' form, so to speak, it was natural and did not bother her at all. It was a weird notion. But this was the life she was going to lead now.

"That is a logical way to do things, and it makes a lot of sense, actually. I like it." And then he basically offered her a job, and her eyes widened, thoughtfully. Her expression was one of doing mental calculations, figuring out if she could fit this in between her tutoring jobs, and school, and how to explain how she came across the position to Nate. Finally, as she went through the front door, she said "I think... I might consider taking you up on that. The work I do right now is dependent on the need for a tutor, and during certain seasons, it gets pretty lean... Does this include feedings, or do you handle food another way?"

"That is a good way to handle it." She said, her brows looking more thoughtful then ever as she went over to the place they had 'landed' at when they arrived... She had no idea if that was necessary but she would rather be sure then be surprised in an unpleasant fashion and end up somewhere bad. She focused... and soon they were back where they had started.

"I think... I can do that, as long as we can negotiate vacations and the like. My boyfriend and I like to take weekend trips on long weekends, and we're planning a road trip in August, during the break. If you can be sure to have someone on back up during those periods, I would happily work with you for this."

She looked around, and added "So... do you want me to carry you home? I'll jump down and power down first, so it won't be suspicious, but... You seem tired Arthur."
