Hm. They could each be stickied, but I don't think they could all be stickied in one sticky.
Maybe we should start saving for another subforum?
Or, at least for the time being, they could lodge in the literary subforum? You know, for now, I think I'll do that.
Let me know how it does or does not work out.

you can put them all in one sticky, simply by putting a link to them all in one post, but a sub-forum for word games is a nice idea 3nodding i'll contribute towards it if you want to do that, as i like playing the games biggrin

Is the Words' Worth folder working as a place for the game threads, or should we still add a new subforum just for the games?

I was afraid of this but because our guild status is 'Hidden' people are not able to read the threads until after they become members so we might have to put the rules back on the home page. There aren't that many and they would fit nicely beneath the lovely stuff Bookwyrme has already done for us.

I think the word games are doing fine in the sub-forum they're in now; there's no real need for a new one just yet.
Hmm. Let's see... here's a problem. Yeah, putting them under the stuff on the front page now would work. But, really, they ought to be fine in a thread. After all, people should read all announcements and stickies, after they join. In the end, it's your choice. And I suppose it would be better for people to read the rules before joining, instead of after, so that they know what's expected of them.

i like the avatar contest idea but i suggest that if we do another one, to do a sort of themed one, like "Mad Scientist" or "Nerd" or "Best in Blue" ^_^ just to add to the challenge

Poppetta suggested a discussion forum, a while back.

i did ninja mainly because i've noticed that people here tend not to post when they poll, which is daft as you lose a lot of gold but that's up to them..i just thought it would be nice to have somewhere where we can actally talk about various subjects, we all seem to be pretty articulate people, so we should be able to have some interesting debates 3nodding

What do people think? Should we spring for a new subforum?

As you can see from my posts, I have the most fun here playing the word games, which I love anyway.
I'm not sure it needs a whole sub-forum though.

I think we've got enough sub-forums for the moment. A discussion sub-forum isn't needed so much, because we discuss the topics in the main forum. I actually can't think of any sub-forum that we would really need at the moment. The guild's working fine as it is.

i agree with NI, at least we're trying to discuss and comeup with interesting threads/topics ^^
i think what we need right now is more of our members to talk ^^

Yes, we do. If you go to the memberlist, there's a ridiculous number of people with no posts. We must do something about them.

how about a posting contest, like the challenge but with a prize. and we wouldn't count topics that are just spam, that could be negative points or something
