He grinned. "We can save that for later..." he said, then turned his head, letting out a loud roar to Wistaria and Kibibi, and in that roar he said, Kibibi, Wistaria, There is something I need to take care of. He Roared again. Kibibi, watch my lands and care for them. I will be back by sundown, if not, you shall see me tomarow.

The male then turned back to Anya. "Now, please do, lead me to you're brothers lands." he said.

"Alright. When we head back, we can stop by Uncle Karver, yes?" She nudged him softly. With a small laugh, she tagged him with her tail feathers and off she ran, her paws barely touching the ground.

((I'm heading to Silver Dawn. There I'll post 3nodding ))

[Oki doki!]

He chuckled. "Yes, yes. We will stop by your uncles pride after." he said, then watched her run off. He laughed, and ran after his new queen.

Wistaria stretched herself out, smiling faintly at Kibibi. "Well then, looks like it's just you and me for now then -- " She paused, before continuing a bit uncertainly, "Erm... Kibibi's your name, right?" He hadn't actually introduced himself, but that's what Ajani had called him anyway.

'Did he even wake up?', she wondered. His brother may've beckoned to him and all, but the younger male hadn't shown any sign of awakening yet. 'Ah well. Worse comes to worse, I'll just go have a look around for myself.' She might as well start trying to get her bearings straight in this place. Trial and error worked about as well as anything else.

Suddenly, Kibibi stirred, his eyes fluttering open and focusing on Wistaria. He smiled to her, which was interuptted by a yawn as he stood up, stretching. Another grin was flashed her way, but this one was more apologetic.

"Sorry. I always get really tired when I'm about to grow."

He shrugged his now fairly broad shoulders, sitting beside her as he glanced around for Ajani.

"Hey, where'd Ajani go?"

((He's not flirting or anything, I just wanted to add in how he grew. >w<))

((Hehe. xd S'cool.))

Wistaria smiled back at the younger lion in an understanding sort of way. "It's understandable. No need to apologize for it. There are always worse ways to get the energy for that sort of thing." She chuckled. "I once knew this one lioness who --" She paused, cutting trailing off with a shake of her head, her grin shifting more towards sheepish. "Eh... nevermind. Maybe that's not the best example."

She peered out in the direction Ajani had gone, giving a light shrug herself. "He ran off all of a sudden while you were dozing, saying he'd come right back. Then I suppose something must have happened; he ended up passing a message that he was going off someplace to take care of something, leaving you in charge for now. He should be back before long, at least. He didn't sound particularly distressed though, so hopefully whatever it is, it's nothing too serious."

Kibibi smiled, a small chuckle escaping his lips as she spoke of the lioness.

"Yes, there are some very interesting methods for growing. I just sleep."

He shrugged, looking back at her. He tilted his head to the side, arching an eyebrow as she mentioned Ajani leaving.

"Huh. That's odd... He put me in charge? It must be serious."

He snickered, the corners of his mouth curling into a smile as he once again scanned his brother's pridelands. How long was I asleep? He thought suddenly, wondering if Ajani had grown aswell.

That crack was enough to earn a small laugh from the lioness, who turned to give him a mock-glare. "You know, that's not exactly the best vote of confidence to hear from one's proud and mighty king -- even if they are just filling in, " Wistaria teased, winking playfully at Kibibi as she stood up again.

"So... you thirsty at all? We never did manage to go and get that drink before, and I swear my throat's gone about as dry as a desert by now."

Ajani sighed, slowly padding through his lands, walking alongside the lake. Her brother is very protective... he thought, sighing again as he plopped himself down on the bank, his mane falling in his face. I understand now though... that two females would like to leave his lands... that is understood-- but I only have two people in my pride... and thats fine for now, but what if more come, and I don't have a queen to help me, because he held his females against their will? Oh lords above.... let Anya's brother... give her the freedom she needs....

As time had gone on, Wistaria had settled quite nicely into her new home. In spite of her habit of wandering off on her own, she could always be counted on to return before long.

As it happened, that day the lioness had taken to staying put. She was relaxing, draped across a broad rock near the den. Her teal eyes fell on Ajani's distant form, huddled beside the bank of the lake. Tail twitching once or twice, the violet lioness frowned. She hadn't exactly gotten to know him very well, but it didn't take a genius to tell the king wasn't in the brightest of moods.

Wistaria stood up, easing into a stretch before she began to trot over. No harm in lending an ear, right?

A small bird soared overhead, only half paying attention the the landscape before her. One plus about air travel -- go high enough, and most times you didn't need to worry about smacking into something along the way. Good thing for her. Gave her most time to think, get her bearings straight. Not that she was even all too sure where she was headed. Just a change of scenary was all she was out for.

She peered at the ground below, poking out her tongue. This place wasn't anything special far as she was concerned. Not to different from the place she'd just left. Just another dull ordinary --

Then the flash of familiar violet fur caught the corner of her eye. The bird suddenly did a double-take, jerking upwards with her wings fluttering like mad. No way -- it couldn't be!

"Hello, Wistaria..." he murmured, not even raising his head right away to look at her. He stared into the water for a moment, before sighing, raising his head slowly, to look at the female, his mind still elsewhere.

"Good day to you too, sir King." Wistaria bowed her head respectfully, flashing the male a smile as she sat down beside him. "Though judging by that look, I'm guessing 'good' doesn't exactly apply." The smile became a touch softer, more sympathetic. "Would you care to talk about it?"

Ajani let out the sigh, supposing that it wouldn't hurt to speak to her. "I have.. found my Queen." he began. "--But... she is in a Pride at the moment... Her brother's... and it seems, that the male's pride is struggling at the moment.. and he wont let her go." he sighed, resting his head on his paws, a saddened look on his face.

Wistaria nodded slowly as Ajani explained the situation to her, tail twitching thoughtfully to and fro. "Hm... most certainly can't blame you for being upset. Sounds like quite the mess." It could have always been worse, of course -- but the lioness doubted that speaking that way would help lift the king's mood any. "Have you tried speaking to him? Perhaps see if you could arrange something...? Surely he isn't completely unreasonable about it?"

A tired voice answered Wistaria's question. "Trust me, he can be..." The lioness panted madly, sweat and dirt covering her once beautiful fur. The blood caked her whole shoulder and leg as she limped into the pride. Her muscles burned from the travel. "I'm home..." She mumbled gently, tears in her eyes. Anya suddenly fell on her side, her eyes half open, breaths laboring. "I came home, Aja..." Her voice was weak, barely audible.
