Hong-Yunsung why are parents always so disrespectfull, and then they expect you to show repect back when you have been shown none? Because they are the parents and you are the child. That's their only reasoning. My mother suffers from an intense need to be right and better all the time as well. It's a good disciplinary tactic when the child is younger, but once they start hitting their late teens, it's time to retire the "I'm better than you so respect, foo'" attitude. Unfortunately, a lot of parents from this generation just don't get it. They figure how they were raised back in the 50s and 60s will somehow do the same now. It's the downfall of boomers; they're the first truly affluent generation so they have issues.

bleeding_butterfly Why is everyone obsessed with rap music? I just don't get it! Neither do I, quite frankly. I think it may have something to do with the popular perception of "cool" as applied to how much bass is exuding out of your car at any given time. That and a lot of rap songs today are naughty so they appeal to the LCD of teenagers. Frankly, I like OLD rap. Give me Run DMC, classic Will Smith, and Bone.
