Quest TimeA small letter from the Project is inside your mailbox today ! To Dulcea
Hello Bird, Hello Feather,
Raven and Alex are growing closer and closer and so we thought they would probably like to do a little quest together. As we experienced it helps our children to develop. ^^
Your two little birds are always so cheerful and happy that we imagined they would enjoy some activity. We also heard about Raven's slight fear of flying and we suggested that our idea could help her making it vanish.
You two should make up a very short play for your children. Teach them a short funny song and allow them to dance / act it out. Who knows, probably something about butterflies ? This dance should also contain a scene where they have to fly for a very short time span. Just hovering above the ground for a moment or so.
I hope it will be fun and not too stressful.

You have to work on this quest for at least two weeks time now and you should make at least four entries about it ( together ) and one from your own perspective. ]

"NANNA!!" Alex squealed with delight, taking the bear into his small hands and bobbing them around, making the plush appear to be dancing. He giggled madly, holding out one of the bear's arms in Raven's direction, hoping she'd join in.
"Yes! But still, asking them would probably be good." She clapped her hands together, nodding in agreement. Feather strode over to the toddlers, about to speak, but then quickly realized they were having another 'bonding' moment. She scuttled back over to Bird, "Uh...I think they'd agree with flutterboos, anyways..."

A glint arose in Raven's eyes as she reached for the bear's arm, a very smug smile curling on her lips as she appeared to innocently help Nana dance.
She tackled him to the table, "Ha!", tickling mercilessly.
Bird blinked, nodding. "Most excellent. Eh... wow. A play. Well, we need lots of stuff for something like this." Slouching on one arm, she began listing mindlessly, "Costumes, props, sets, scripts-- 'cause I highly doubt there are any plays on flutterboos... 'course, we can look...
"So.. where do we start?"

"Nooo fairr!!" Alex whined, his lower lip sticking out in a fake pout. He burst out into laughter, despite his weak attempts to maintain his composure. "Waven's meanniee!!" The boy squirmed and thrashed about, causing various objects on the table to topple over and smash into the ground below.
"Hm...the plotline, I suppose...and we could make up a story for them to act out! It could be wonderfully cute! Like, they could pretend to be butterflies, or something!" Feather's eyes flashed with a sudden sense of excitement as she quickly pulled out a notebook and pen, and began jotting down a few notes.
"What do you think, Bird?"

Raven squealed when a foot connected with her stomach, her grip loosening as she fell on her side with an "oomph!" Collecting herself, Raven stood and prepared to initiate a game of chase.
Casting a very unconcerned glance over to the table for a moment, more for studying the children than the wreckedge being caused, Bird pondered she she spoke. "Fantastic idea! And... maybe for the storyline stuff, they could be spellcasters, or, saviors of some mystical place or.. some really cheesy Shakespearean plot... Naw.
"Oh dear, I've been rambling," she apologized. "Hm... I'm not sure what Raven would want t'do. Do you have an idea about Alexander?"

"Meaniemeanie!!" Alex teased, a smirk spreading across his face. "But meanies are SWOW!"
With that, he darted away, weaving around the couch and tables, flapping his wings wildly in an attempt to quicken his pace.
"I'm not sure about his part, either, really, but I think the both of them should act out something simple. Like, maybe Raven could be the Flutterboo princess, and she would be in some sort of trouble...then Alex could save her?" Feather laughed uneasily, scratching her head. "Hell, I dunno."

"Heyyy!" she whined, tripping on one of her longest feathers as she attempted to chase Alexander. "No fair!"
She hopped to the ground, trying to intercept him diagonally. But he was much too fast-- Raven tried vaulting over the couch where she had last seen him, but he was gone, an orange blur.
Bird grinned, finger molding around her face. "S'what I was thinking. Simple, easy, and... pretty darn fun, if I do say so myself." She scratched an irriating itch on her arm. "So... damsel in distress." She couldn't stop the giggle.
"Oh! Are they going to perform just for us, or... others?" she said for lack of a better word.

"I guess we could talk to Lena about performing in front of the other Eden owners..." Feather replied slowly, going over thoughts about the play in her mind. "If you and Raven would want to, as well, of course." She added, quickly snapping out of her daze.
Alexander stopped abruptly, skidding against the carpet once he realized Raven had toppled over. He climbed up onto the couch, looking down at the girl. "...You okay...?" He inquired, his faced marked with a most innocent-looking sense of concern.

"Oh, I'm sure Raven wouldn't mind. I'm fine either way," Bird reassured with a smile. "Now, lesse... we must have a plot! Or... would you rather save that for later?"
Raven had a silly smile on. "Yeah... m'okay," she said, picking herself up and straightening out her feather. "'Dese things are buggers." A sour face made itself known.

"Well, since it seems our two little troublemakers are busy for the time being, I suppose we could work out the big details of the plot now...Raven could be the flutterboo princess...and...she could be kidnapped by the evil mouse people, or something..." Her voice trailed off as she scribbled down her latest ideas, biting her tongue in concentration.
"I'm sowwy!" Alex apologized, guilt beginning to tug at the corners of his mind. He hopped off of the couch, and landed far from delicately in front of Raven. Nevertheless, he straightened himself, and tried his best to smile.
"...Can I see...?" He asked slowly, referring to the hurt feather.

Lacing her fingers together to prop her chin on, Bird tried thinking up more stuff. ".. Annd... maybe the reason they kidnappd her was.. because she had pretty wings and the king wanted to cut them off for himself, or, something. Oh!; maybe she's from the kingdom of... Eden?, so they'd think she'd lead them to paradise. Maybe." She rubbed her head. "Where would Alexander come in in all of this?"
(Ho, cool, he's even got the name for a knight. xD)
Raven looked sheepish, holding out her arm for inspection. "I'm jus' a.. a klutz, 'at's all. S'not Awex's fault."

"He could be Raven's admirer from afar, or something. Someone who's never had a chance to talk or interact with her really, who finally has the ultimate opportunity to meet her by rescuing her." Feather shrugged, laughing. "It's kinda cheesy, but hey, it's supposed to be cute, right?"
"Yeah it is!!" Alex cried, reaching out to touch the injured feather. "M-my mommy always kisses my boo-boos whenever I get any..." He murmured quietly, his eyes fixed on the blue plume. He then stepped forward, bent over slightly, and kissed it.
The falcon Eden retreated slightly, a light blush tinging his cheeks. His gaze was still trained on the ground."I hope it gets better fast, now..."

Bird nodded in agreement, a silly smile plastering itself on her face. She made a strange giggling sound, wringing her fingers together. "Ooh, this is awesome. Alrighty... So, we have a Raven princess, who has a secret admirer, and gets captured by the evil mice people because... ehm. Of her wings?" She paused, shrugging. "... How's the rescue gonna go...?" A shift in her chair. "Maybe they took her to their castle annnd... well... any ideas?"
Raven looked incredibly surprised. She looked at her feather, then at Alexander, and back again. Suddenly, a loud squeal was emitted, and Raven tackled the other in a large hug. "Thank yoo, Awwex!" she cheered, squeezing him. "Feews much better!"

"Maybe her wings had special jewels encrusted in them because she was royalty, and the mouse king guy wanted them to make him even richer...or something like that? And perhaps Alex could sneak into the castle pretending to be a mouse..." Feather smiled, trying to recall and piece together all of the fairy tales she'd heard as a child. "And she could be locked in the highest room of the tallest tower, or something! And Alex could make a super dramatic entrance!"
"I-I'm glad!" Alex's studdering only seemed to worsen. Nonetheless, he returned Raven's hug. He smiled faintly. "W-Wanna go see what our mommies are up to...?"
It was fairly obvious he wanted to change the subject.

"Mommas...?" Oh, yes, those two. She'd almost forgotten. Raven nodded, releasing Alex. "'Kay!"
Bird turned her attention to the toddlers' emergence, clapping her hands and catching Raven as she jumped into waiting arms. "Wait 'til you guys here what we've been cokking up."
Raven suddenly turned pale. "... Coo.. cooking?" Yesterday evening, Bird had expirimented beyond her capabilities in that field. The results had been disasterous.
"... Not quite food cooking, Rave." Bird looked insanely sheepish. To avoid any further questioning on the topic (Raven had a puzzled expression evident on her face) and, thus, embarassment, she asked Feather to help her explain the play so far. "Maybe you guys want to add something?"
