Sumner gave a hesitant smile back at Rounce, though he knew not who he was. He, though, was new as well... They were in the same boat!

Whistle smiled at Sumner, pleased how gentle he was. She trusted the great grey male upon sight, knowing he would bring no harm to her family. She leaned against her mate and surveyed the Pride, pleased at the new members. "You are most welcome here Sumner."
Pyre grinned at her family and Pride members, then bowed out, capering off to find her sister. She new Tess had gone exploring within the Pride Lands, and decided to do the same. The Oasis was safe enough, so she beamed at her parents and trotted off.
Ballad nosed his mate and smiled at the Pride members. "I'm going to walk the borders, I'll return soon.. Until then, make yourselves at home."

Sumner split off as well, though he wasn't too keen on exploring... only to find a private spot where he could be alone.
He managed to find a large patch of bushes, that was actually a cirle of tall, berry-bearing plants. Winter berries, at that. He wrestled his way through the tangled branches with much difficulty, and found himself in a larve grove about ten or 15 feet in diameter. It was filled with lush grass that was still green by some miracle. The berries were abundant inside the grove, and the sun managed to reach it in patches that moved as the day went by. However, the brnaches gave the grove a thin ceiling, protecting it from the elements. "Beautiful..."

((I'm gonna do a bit of a Time Slip in my next post, so my Pyre Babies can Grow up... ^.^ Unless that will disturb anyone?))
Tess lounged in the shade of emerald leaves, gnawing at a strange fruit that had fallen from lofty branches when she had climbed the tree earlier. It was rather sweet and quite good, so she churred softly to herself and nibbled some more, tail feathers waving in the soft breeze. Winter did not have its claws in the Oasis Paradise of Temple's Decorations yet, but it was close. Most of the plants were darkening to a deep green, the wind was cold, and the sky the same color as Cas's coat. "Winter soon." She sang.

((ok with me. 3nodding ))
Tala stood at the top of a rock, his eyes scanning the area. Even though he was only a cub, he took his job very seriously. Now that the royals were growing up, (alot faster the he, or anyone for that matter had expected) he had to be much more watchfull. His tail twitched, as he spotted Tess munching on a fruit. He wondered silently where the other two were, but hoped they wern't doing anything insane.

Sumner gave a yawn as he lounged near the den entrance. It was peaceful here - that was for sure. But since meeting his sister, he had quieted a bit. He knew his family was somewhere. Maybe his brother and mother would be there? But he simply rested his head on his paws, content with the weather and those around him. No reason to leave...
Not yet, anyway.
The memory of a great time spent with a lioness still floated through his mind, and the bruise on his shoulder sitll reminded him of the tree he may have scarred. Maybe he'd bring her here some time.

Rounce had grown almost as quickly as the royals. He now carried a full mane, and along with it some pretty impressive muscles. He was currently 'training' using a tree as a sort of dummy as always. He used the same tree over and over again, so as not to harm others. The tree he used was at the downfall of its years, branches dying, trunk decaying, so he figured it wasn't nearly as bad as using a live tree. He knew of no other lion that used this method, but he would do anything to protect his pride. He finished up and began to head back to the cave, bowing to Tess as he walked by. "Good afternoon, Tess."

Tessa raised her head and smiled at Rounce, admiring his adult form. "You are a very handsome adult Rounce, I am so glad you joined the Pride..." She had that way about her, always had.. Tess looked at someone, saw the truth in their hearts, saw them as the really were.. "I am so glad you protect us so well.. I thank you..." She gave a silvery laugh. "Are you enjoying the day?"
Casalure galloped around the Pride Lands, once again following his daily run to build his strength, speed, endurance and hunting abilities. He was pleased with the current results, muscles rippling beneath his silken coat and a silent step when he went hunting. Sliding to a stop near the wall of greenery, he paused to wonder where his sisters were.
PyreDancer returned from visiting the secret glade Asakori showed her to with a song in her heart. She was smiling as she crossed into her parents land, and decided to do a bit of exploring before returning to the main den. A lioness grown, she would soon leave the Pride and wander on her own, in search of a mate.

Rounce stopped walking and was glad his reddish brown fur would stop the blush from showing to the world. "You make a lovely adult as well, Tessa. It's my p-pleasure to keep such a lovely family out of harms way," he bowed his head again. "I'm enjoying the day well enough. I was just going to find a place to relax for a while. How are you enjoying this day?"

Tess smiled, and the joy in her was a pure radiance, shining out of her eyes. "Thank you so much, Rounce." She purred, ducking her head shyly. "And you truly are a blessing to this Pride, I feel quite safe with you here." She stood with a slight stretch, easing her sleek muscles. "I'm enjoying it thoroughly... Might I wander with you, or would you like to join me?"

:Time Skip:
Whistle smiled down on her cubs, now several hours old. There were four in this litter, the second she had had with her beloved mate. She adored them as much as she did her first children. Their names had come to her mind rather early in the pregnancy, and she wondered what kind of cubs they would be.
Ballad had gone out to tell the Pride, leaving mother and children to rest. He was bursting with Joy as he climbed up on a high rock and roared. Two new Princes and two new Princesses were born. They were in the Den and the family doing well, ready to recieve visits from the fellow Pride members.
Aveshar lay among his good hearted siblings, fairly disgusted with the family already. He had a keen, calculating mind, did Aveshar. A dark mind. He resented the white alienness of his one sister, and the keen mind of the other. He was disgusted by the goodness that fairly rolled off his mother and her purple son. His father's Pride and hope and honesty rolled though the very air to make him quiver. How unpleasant.
Reykuri watched Aveshar, her keen mind knowing what he was. He was evil, was her black-coated brother. Not loving like his mother, nor brave and true like his father. An anomaly much like Sunira, he was dark where she was light. Reykuri wrapped her tail around her sister's and vowed to keep the little anomaly safe. Even if it was from her dark brother.
Kelakohr slept deeply, happily curled to his mother's side. In his dreams he could see his dark brother, a massive adult, attacking Sunisra, still delicate in her adulthood. Reykuri leapt between them and a battle began, making the little amethyst coated boy shudder.
Sunisra smiled at Reykuri and pillowed her head on her amethyst brother's flank. She was tired, tired of looking around at everything and trying to stay awake. With a little yawn she closed her eyes, and promptly fell asleep. She did not dream like her brother, for in her dreams she was alone as an adult, wandering in the dark in search of something.

Rounce perked his ears at the king's roar. So they had been birthed... Great timing.
He was at the boarders, with a certain little lioness he knew. He turned his head to look at the blue cub and smiled. "Looks like we arrived at a delicate time. Hopefully Ballad won't mind." His head turned back to where the king's roar rang out and he let out a powerful roar of his own, announcing the presence of himself, as well as his friend, in a formal and kind manner.
