Diamanta I can't name my violin because whenever I try to give it a name it seems to make it feel more seperate from me. "My violin" makes it more apart of my soul, while a name personifies it and makes it a seperate entity from me. 3nodding I am so totally freaky. O.o Sita87: how about... BUTTER! Well... you said it was light colored. >.> Well, I've heard some people say that, but I think of it differently. My violin is way way older than me, so to think it was a part of me is just weird. I think of instruments more as their own indivudual, and I'm simply there to bring them to life and tell their story. That's why I like naming them.

My violin's na,me is Damien. He's the prittiest violin in my school orch (in my opinion, of course) 'cause he's dark brown, as opposed to all the light brown and reddish brown ones other people have. I'm the only one with dark brown. He's so pretty...and old, lol. He was made in 1910.

i dont name my instrumetns, but my friend does. he plays guitar, violin, some other stuff in band, and piano, and he names all of tehm (except for piano, maybe). he plays like 6 diff things, i swear its crazy. rolleyes

I am thinking of naming mine Mona after a charater in one of my stories. Both of them are kind of the last of their breed so I think it fits. lol

Floyd for my violin redface i know it is wierd it was just the name that worked.. Trina for my old bow and i have no name yet for my new bow it is a
Koda Bow Advanced and OMG i really love it is just hard to get a name that works

My violin's name is Scarlet...but I just call her Screech
My viola's name is Violet
My old cello's name is Bill (AKA Bob)
My newer cello's name is Sadie, (but that was a quick one, so it might be changed)
never mind..they are all different now...!!
