Cold, purple eyes shot back to his temporary travelling companion. Now he knew why he'd never been tempted to try this particular branch of crime before. Kidnapping was like babysitting, and he hated whiney little brats. "Fine," he grumbled. Looking about, the thief spotted a diner and headed inside. The sooner he got the kid fed, the sooner he could dump him somewhere while he made a withdrawl.

"Not so loud, kid!" Herman snapped, more out of irritation than intentional cruelty. The youth's restless energy grated on his nerves, not to mention drawing the eye of many of the diner's customers. Trying to act as unobscure as possible, the thief made his way to an empty booth and slid onto the seat.

"I'm sorry...."
Whimpering, the blonde slid into a seat across from Herman, keeping his eyes averted from the irritated thief. He looked absolutely pathetic, head hanging, ears flat, thepoor kid looked like he could burst into tears at any second.
One of said customers eyed the newcomer's with one narrowed eye. Well, seemed like Demyx couldn't keep himself out of trouble for 2 minutes, but what was the thief doing here? Taking a sip of his Sprite, the target marked Audio decided to hang back a few more minutes and see how things played out.

Herman eyed the dismal little audio across from him. Damnit, he couldn't have the kid burst into tears in front of everyone here! "Er...it's..okay," the thief began awkwardly. "How about I get you some ice cream?" He grinned lamely, hoping this would bring the youth back to some form of remote happiness.

Despite the excitement, Demyx was struggling to keep quiet. Ears perked back up, green eyes focused on Herman to see if the offer was for real.

Herman smirked, content that his offer had done the trick. Flagging down a passing waitress, he glanced back at the youth. "Order whatever you want kid." Anything to keep him happy. The price he would get for the young audio would far outweigh that of one meal.

The youth whined, looking around for a moment before glancing up at the waitress.
"Think you can pick out some good ice cream for me? Pleaseeee?"

Herman watched the youth's dilemma with a hint of amusement on him maw.
The waitress, an audio slightly Demyx's elder, smiled down at the youth fondly. "Of course, sweetheart," she said softly with a slight accent. "Is there anything else I can get for you?"

Demyx's tail swished behind him, the blonde grinning up at the waitress happily.

"I'll have a beer...and a slice of pizza," the thief stated, keeping his eyes on the youth. At least the kid was easily amused.
The waitress nodded, jotting down the order, before walking off to attend to other customers.

Demyx waved as the waitress walked off, attention averted for the time being.
This was just enough time for Bax to arrive, shoving Herman over rudely before plopping into the seat next to him.
"And just what are you doing here?"
Bax eyed Herman through his good eye, ignoring Demyx.

"What the--?! Who--?!" Herman stammered, struggling to regain his seatting. "Bullseye?!" he blurted in suprise as his eyes came to rest on his 'attacker'. "What the hell are you doing here?!"

Demyx blinked in surprise at Bax, grin spreading across his maw again.
"BAX!!"
"Shut up kid..."
The assassin growled, watching the youth quickly quiet down.

"I don't have to explain my business to you," Herman growled slightly. "The kid and I were just passing through."
The thief blinked at the youth's sudden outburst, raising a brow in the assassin's direction. "Bax??"
