Calypso was only a couple feet away from the ground where the leader and champion of dragons were conversing over the incident that had just occurred. She released her hold of Crusher and slipped like silk to the ground and heard the soft crunch of snow beneath her feet, only then realizing that she was still in her formal wear. No matter. In the morning she would go to her 'spare house' and retrieve the last bit of clothing and weaponry she had left.
When she glanced over back at the council hall, the entire building had already collapsed and been consumed into a spiral mess of slithering black vines and the remnants of Wakara. A tragic sight and a day in the lunar calendar that is to be remembered. But Calypso knew there had to have been a reason for this day, this event, this death, to happen.
It wasn't a coincidence that had happened. It was planned, obviously. Without a word, Calypso turned her back to the rubble sinking lower and lower into the Earth and began to walk towards the spare house she stayed in during times of meditation. Only there would her journey begin and secrets be unfolded.

"Safe? with a dragon?" Kinn muttered to himself when getting up. He pulled down his scarf and looked at the destruction. He knew well that the human alliance with the dragons now meant that Kinn would have to help Crusher with protecting this Calypso. "You all are one strange bunch..." His head turned to Kaze firstly, then to Crusher. He knew there was a connection between all the Council members.
"She knew something, but of what I do not know. This new force will strike again and most likely strike Calypso. You are the apprentice of Wakara...or you were." His breathing was hard as he wiped off some crimson fluids from his face. It never hurt like this before. The pain of losing his friend mixed with the pain of his wings. "Strange we are not, we just have a lot of history together."
"Yea...I can tell." He crossed his arms and moved closer to the dragon allies. He never would thank Kaze for saving him. He thought of it as unnecessary and foolish.

"If that were to happen..." allowing the words to simply linger in the air, Evelline momentarily closed her eyes, lost within the own depth of her mind. This trully was the 'worst-case scenario', as most humans would say, and though she hated to admit it, things were really starting to look bleak. She released a heavy sigh, shook her head lightly as she carried on.
"Very well then, let us find the last member..." Stretching her wings lightly, she finished off by stating. "The elders must know of this before this was to get out of hand."

Crusher landed gracefully on the snow covered ground his feet making a crunching sound in the snow. His wings folded behind him but they didn't retract back into his back. His glance came to rest on Kaze. "..." Crusher didn't even know what too say about what had happened to Wakara, and about why it even happened. He then looked toward his Leader and bowed respectfully.

Styx looked down, spotting the Half-Dragon, Crusher and said, "Evelline...Down there...He's here..." He uncoiled himself from the tower and flew down to Crusher's side and said, "That is the Demon Councilor's apprentice, Calypso, correct? She must be kept safe...I have feeling that she will be the next target...I believe Evelline agrees." He transformed into his human form and said, "We must get her to a safe place, and make sure the other Councilors will remain unharmed...Right now, our peaceful co-existance rests upon the edge of a knife, if it falls, we could have another war to deal with..."

The wings of his soon pushed back into his back. His teeth were shown as his body arched over slightly. Kaze's eyes closed shut trying to endure the pain. The champion of angels has yet to show. The older champion had failed in its role and became a rather great problem. If Kaze were to be struck by this dark force, he would be done for. It wouldn't matter, Kaze's body would deteriorate sooner or later. I wonder if this has anything to do with that angel...I highly doubt it. It's phenomenal strength was much greater than that of my old friend... He sighed and soon looked over to Crusher. He has lost almost everything.

Crusher looked toward Styx and answered in a quiet voice that had close to no emotion in it. "Yeah... that would be her. We will have too make sure nothing at all happens too her. War is the last thing that we need at the moment, and is exactly what the enemy would want. If we remain calm things will eventually work in our favor."

Closing her dark, glassy eyes, Evelline released a heavy sigh that had, until now, been trapped at the back of her throat. It was and incredible sight, watching all and everything fall apart in less than an hour, moment, instant. It was simply incredible. Opening her eyes as she heard Styx’s voice once more, she glanced down upon the ground seeing the Half-Dragon standing on the ground. Returning the bow earnestly, she returned her gaze unto the nothingness that stretched before her, trying to foresee what this most wretched murder would bring.
Sitting on her hunches, the dragon crossed her arms, simply watching, listening to what was to happen now.

The voices from the council party faded away into the dark and snow as Calypso wove her way through the bundles of frost bearing trees and frozen soil earth pathway to a small barren cabin. As she brushed passed a naked bush, her silky formal gown snagged a hold of the frozen hard branches, and uncarringly she let the gown tear just like how the massive stone hand tore apart Wakara's body. The image of her will never leave Calypso's mind.
Snow began to trickle down from the darkened heaven. Calypso stopped for a moment and stared at the sky. The clouds were black. Well, they should be, Cal thought to herself, bringing her gaze back to the empty, bumpy road in front of her. Everything is black. The trees, the sky, my gown, my heart.. Although she was lost in thought, Calypso eventually made it to the small cabin she once had to call home doing her months of private meditation.
Cal stuck out her hand to touch the metal door knob with the tips of her fingers. Frozen cold. So cold it burned, but it didn't seem to burn as much as the pain dwelling deep withing her heart. Flashbacks of the moments she spent with Wakara in this cabin learning self-discipline through fasting and hours of silent meditation laced her thoughts with the happiest memories she could recall with her mentor. Calypso wrapped her entire hand around the knob, twisting the cold, burning metal in her palm until an almost inaudible click was heard.
With little might, Cal pushed opened the door and entered the musty cabin. It was small; almost too small. The only pieces of furniture in the one roomed cabin was a cot-- large enough for one person-- bearing a thin cotton blanket and a long closed wooden box which sat to the left of the room. To the right connected to the wall underneath a dusty window was a water pump and a bucket underneath. How she survived living in this condition with little to eat and drink, Cal did not know.
After admiring the dark room which did not hold electrical or even fire power, Cal used what little light there was in the room to find her way to the wooden box sitting at the end of the cot. Carefully, she lifted the top of the box. Cob webs stretched and broke, and spiders scampered out of the way once feeling Cal's presence. Inside, the box only contained two things: an extra set of her steel plated armor, and the Shadow Blade personally hand crafted by Wakara herself. Even the imprint she left, a black rose and a thin electric covering, were still freshly visible.
With what little time she had after the event, Calypso undressed herself from the formal, now torn, gown and stiletto heels. For a moment she stood half naked, letting her body take in the burning cold pain winter had brought, when her eyes caught sight of a mark burned into her inner wrist just below her hand. Again it was Wakara's emblem: the black rose. The sight of this marvelous memorial nearly brought tears to Calypso's eyes, but because of the cold biting at her very flesh, she lost all need to express her emotions.
Calypso picked up the cold metal plated armor and found the straps. She easily slipped the armor on and belted it in the correct areas. The only warmth she had now was from the cotton padding underneath the metal which gave little comfort against her most sensitive areas. Even still it protected her most from any melee attacks. With a sigh, Cal picked up the sword. The black material glowed a strikingly stunning sapphire color, illuminating most of the small cabin room. The appearance of the blade brought a small smile to Calypso. "Even though Wakara is no longer here with me, her aura still shines as bright as ever."
After retrieving her last possessions of metal plated foot and hand gear, Calypso folded the formal gown as neatly as possible and laid it carefully in the long wooden box, closing and sealing it for good afterwards. Now fully dressed and prepared for whatever may lay in front of her, Cal walked out of the cabin and headed back towards the still dumbfounded council party to at least give some reassurance and order.

Styx growled at the situation, he was becoming more and more filled with anger every second, who could have done this to such a wise being? It must have been someone with an absolutely despicable heart, and no soul what-so-ever. Styx sniffed a bit, causing a small puff of black energy to shoot from his human nostrals and dissepate in the air before him. He then said, "You know, I just thought of something...Perhaps the councilors would be safest at my home...It is a fortress, on the border between the mortal world and the Underworld, its the mouth of the River of The Underworld. But, it is also protected by various magical wards and enchantments, only the most powerful of magics would be able to breach the protection that my ancestor put in place hundreds of thousands of years ago. Unless you have another idea Kaze, it may make a good place for us to simply continue the meeting, and then they could be moved to a new location." He crossed his arms and looked at his Half-Draconic ally, perhaps it was something they could bring up with the other councilors, he looked up and said, "Evelline! Did you hear my suggestion? What do you think?"

Glancing back at Styx with a somewhat weary gaze, the silver dragon released a heavy sigh as she nodded her head. “I do believe that we need to find a more secure place in order to protect the demon by the name of Calypso, I believe, so the fortress at the base of the Underworld does seem like a good place to return to.” she absent-mindedly agreed, lifting her head once more as she uncrossed her massive arms, seeming rather confused with this whole ordeal that continued to develop.
“However, this decision does not depend on me alone, but rather, the others as well.” With that said and done, she rose to a stand, pushing herself off the pilar before, that is, she glided slowly to the ground.

"Wait, you mean the River Styx? Yea I heard of that place...Sounds creepy." Kinn was already against the idea. "Well, if that thing wanted to attack us, I think it would have done so already. Obviously that demon knew something that the rest of us didn't. And it's also obvious that whatever killed her wanted to make sure that Wakara was not able to tell anyone else about it. That make sense?" He kept his hands at his hips and let the weight rest on one leg. The end of the red scarf blew ferociously in the wind. The only reason Kinn might think of going to this place was to escape the cold and the wind.
"You all aren't that important or you'd be dead ya know?" Kinn looked over to Styx and then to their ex-enemy, Kaze. It was strange to be so close to such a creature and be peaceful. Normally a fight would have occured. The half demon and half angel kept quiet with eyes never looking back at Kinn. An abomination to earth, that's what this Kaze is.

"Sounds like a good plan Styx... just need too wait for Calypso too return." Crusher said with a heavy sigh brushing a few strands of his long green hair out of his face. He was looking toward the destroyed building thinking back on all the moments in which he had seen Wakara happy. Crusher was glad that he was able to show Wakara what he had become before her death. "Heh... some kind of reunion..." Crusher said in a quiet voice.
Crusher glanced toward Kinn slightly. "Or perhaps whatever killed Wakara is toying with us. Waiting for our next move to occur. It would have been just a matter of time until she would have told Kaze or I, so that seems like the likely answer." He looked away from Kinn and back toward the destroyed building ahead of him.

Styx looked over at Kinn and said, "Well...Therein lies a benefit to going to my home...Being at the mouth of the river, there is a possibility that we could speak with Wakara's spirit, that is if the spirit would agree to speak with the living...We could potentially find out what she knew that her assassin didn't want us to know...Its a stretch, but may be worth a try at least." Styx said this rather matter of factly, though he was not trying to brag. There was a limit to his powers, which only extended to communicating with spirits, anything beyond that, such as summoning them to battle, or ressurecting the dead was beyond him...Those were abilities that it is said, only his ancestor, the one who established Draconic control over the river had achieved, and even that was only legend.

"You do not know the importance that Wakara held. To demons, she could have been queen. I doubt that the demon race would be much obliged to see both humans and dragons breaking into their territory. Skeptical, like any other race, you all shall be first to blame by demons. Not even my presence would stop such forces." He looked up at the dragons with no smile or any emotion in his face. Kaze was still hurting from earlier physical pain and as well as emotonal. "The nation of angels...There will be less chance of any intruders if we were to go there." Kaze too was held in high regard with the angels.
"And...if anyone were to ever speak to Wakara's spirit, I'm sure it would only be a selected few." Crusher, Calypso, a few others and of course himself. "If anyone is against my idea, speak so now."
Kinn nodded in a form of agreement. "Angels and holy figures seem a lot better than dead monsters. I vote heaven!" Heaven was not the correct term to be used for the Angelic nation. It was sometimes called the kingdom of the skies. Kinneas, since he was a child, wished to see what it would be likfe but knew his enemies resided in such a place.
