"You do so bounce, I've seen you do it enough times." Meryl affirmed chuckling, "Whenever you get excited, or started wrestling around with children. You can as bad as is Milly sometimes."  

[Shuichi Vash-kun]

=He blushed and stuck his tongue out at her+

"Hmph excuse me if I like to bounce. It's fun"  

[Saiyana2]

Meryl smiled, "I never said it wasn't but there is a time and a place for bouncing and at the moment you are not in any shape to bounce. Now give me a couple of minutes to make sure Knives is secure and then we'll go downstairs and I fix you a real meal."  

[Shuichi Vash-kun]

=He laughed+

"Hhehe I'm not really hungry Meryl. I'll be ok.I just need some air. i've been stuck in that room forever"  

[Saiyana2]

Meryl grinned at Vash, a twinkle in her eye " Are you sure, not even for a donut or two?"  

[Shuichi Vash-kun]

+Vash stopped and looked at her with a smirk+

"Hmm how about air first, donut later?"  

[Saiyana2]

Meryls laugh tinkled and she grinned at him "Oh all right but no further than the porch chair."  

[Shuichi Vash-kun]

+He smirked at her from the doorway and stuck his tongue out like a little kid before bolting for the stairs, feeling much better than he had+

"Hah! You're gonna have to make me first!"  

[Saiyana2]

His actions starteld Meryl and she chased after hiim yelling,"You come back here Broomhead!!"  

[Shuichi Vash-kun]

+He laughed and made it to the top of the stairs before leaping down them two at a time+

"Hhehe come on slow poke!"  

[Saiyana2]

Meryl dashed after shouting in worry and concern, "Be careful Vash you might fal.ll.ll.ll...." but suddenly tripped over the rug he had rumpled as he had made his first long step, losing her own balance started tumbling headfirst down the steep staircase.  

[Shuichi Vash-kun]

+Vash stopped with a gasp halfway down the stairs and he raced back, using his longer legs to propel him and he caught her right before she fell, inadvertily slamming backwards against the wall with her falling over him as he clung to her+

"Ouch!...Meryl you ok?"  

[Saiyana2]

Meryl's eyes werestill wide with fear from the tumble and she was shaking in reaction. "Oh..., Vash..," was all she could say as she clung to him like a small child half sobbing in relief that he had caught her.  

[Shuichi Vash-kun]

+He frowned a bit and hugged her close trying to stop her tears+

"Hey it's ok it's over. you're safe now. Come on don't cry Meryl..."  

[Saiyana2]

Meryl slowly got over her fright, relaxing into the safe feeling of his arms holding her. Still trembling with her heart pounding she looked up into his face, "Oh Vash! If you hadn't caught me I might have broken my neck or something." She blinked away the last of her tears and then suddenly realized that their faces were bare inches part, her eyes widened as their breaths mingled.
