I am Unromantic_Phantom, but, to save time, most people refer to me as UP. When I was younger I used to get in trouble at school for reading too much. The teachers always had a hard time with it because they were having to tell me to stop reading instead of start. It also infuriated them because I managed to pull off decent grades in most of my classes. I ended up with the highest average in my science class.
Anyway, some of my favorite books and series are The Belgariad and Mallorean, Harry Potter, Redwall, Phantom of the Opera (I liked it, and had read the book before the movie came out!), A Wrinkle in Time, and that's all I can think of currently. I do read manga however, and one of my favorite series is Petshop of Horrors even though the last volume had a completely different tone from the rest of the series.

Hi. You can just call me mosrael and leave out the 2. It's named after the second or sixth bell in the abhorsen series. This is my first ever post here.
I'll read just about everything. Now, the current genre I'm obsessed with is mysteries set in historical times, especially ancient Rome. My all time favorite series is probably Harry Potter. I know a lot of people like it, but I like the series because of its excellent examples of foreshadowing.

Hello! I'm Robahn Hobyah, which is a based on a bit of folklore that only one other person on Gaia has seemed to get. Oh well, no matter. My favorite books or authors? Well, its easier just to say, "whichever ones I like" rather than put out a list. My reading habits are varied and moderatly esoteric, so sometimes I'm reading rather unusual books. Hmm, but a general list... Authors: Asimov, Heinlin, Herbert, Brin, Chaucer, Milton, Cooper, Adams, Dee Brown, Doyle, Tolkein, Shakespear Oh never mind, you get the idea I have many favorite books, but my all time favorite (from way back in the 1st grade) is The Secret Garden. At first, no real reason for it, but as I grew older I began to rather heavily identify with Lord Craven. So there ya go

He's one of the characters that I haven't really found myself in. Yet. But I love that book too. It's written in such a voice that I can read it over and over again, and each time I'll find it just as new as it was the first time I read it.
