Zero opened an eye, which could barely be seen though the dark sunglasses. He was groggy and a bit sore, the booth was no replacement for a bed. Zero let out a quiet groan and brought his hand up to rest his chin in it. He looked up at the new face and spoke in a very unexcited tone, "Eh? And who might you be?"

((seeing as the great general requires the new lances to be used, I'm using a back up charater fro the lance, check the star command-charlie lance for a bio))
"Name's Issac, you?" a slight german accent came through. He picked up the bottle Zero was drinking from, looked at it and set it down in disgust. "Double shot o'wisky, no ice" he called to the bar keep and sat down in the booth across from Zero.

"...Zero." He brought both hands up in front of his face, interlocking his fingers as if studying the young man. He raised an eyebrow, perhaps questioning why he was here...or just why he picked up the drink. He agreed with the look on Issac's face though, this was one of the dozens of drinks that Zero had that tasted like motor oil or tar, but it was still from the bet with the bartender so he didn't have to pay for it at least. He did prefer drinks that actually tasted appealing, since he never felt the 'buzz' that most people felt from the liquor. He sighed, "So...tell me a little about yourself, Issac."

"Well, I used to be one of the best in the Earidanus Scout Legion," Issac said "The carrier my unit and I were attached to jumped out of the [insert random star system here] system when the Civle war started up. Mutnie abord the ship a guess." He wated for a responce from Zero, none came. His head was down on the table. "I didn't think it was that boring," he said tilting his head still looking at Zero with a very martian look. His drink arrived

"It wasn't boring" He looked up with a grin, "...but I have heard better. I'm just tired from staying up all night drinking, I had a bet to win."

"And that bet is.......what, exactly?" Issac queried, he took a sip of his wisky and quickly downed the rest. "Meh........ I've had better" The Bar Keep glared at Issac

Zero look at the bar keep then back too Issac, "Heh, I made a bet with the bar keep here that I could drink anything he could come up with without succumbing to alcohol poisoning or vomiting, if I won I didn't have to pay. And it would have been one hell of a bill." He gulped down more of the 'tar-flavored' drink.

"So how many bottles have you gone through?" Issac asked. An old tune started to play through the bar, Blue man Group's rendition of White Rabbit. "Nice" Issac smiled "Finaly, someone with a taste for music." He got up and went to the bar for more wisky. "This time give me the stuff made on Earidanus the Fifth." He said to the bar keep, who went into the back room. When the Bar keep returned he was toting a large trapezoid shaped bottle. Issac snapped it from his hands and started to walk back to the booth. "Hey, private stock, gotta pay for it." Keep said. "How about this," Issac mused, his back still to the Keep "If I can kill this bottle and not be comatose, half off. If I do knock my self out, I'll give you the contents of my wallet. Deal?" Issac continued to the booth, set the bottle down. He then took half the bottles monetary worth out of his wallet and went back to the Bar keep. "Now its time for drinkin'!!"

Zero laughed to himself as he overheard the deal. He spoke quietly, "If you say it like that, you could pass out and only have a penny's worth in your wallet. Either way it sounds like the bartender is gonna get screwed."

"Hmmm...you'd think a basic training camp might allow you access to some type of bar after a while. But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do." Zero smiled and put his arms up in an I-don't-know posture.

((Went on vacation)) Issac took a drink straight from the bottle. "Ah, haven't had this in a while." Issac smiled, licking his lips "and ya got it all wrong Zero." Issac waited for any responce. "Brewing this was a part of basic. The Earidanus needed the trade, and the military stepped up. Not only did some of the biggest colonies send troops to be trained on the fifth and third worlds, but they also sent for alcohol and lots of it.

A woman dressed in heavy plated armor, looking straight out of a medieval fantasy novel, heavily stepped into the bar, practically attracting everyone's attention as her steps thudded along. She had a scarf over her face, so it was hard to tell what she looked like. Across her back was the biggest sword that most people had ever seen, and why she still used something ridiculously large in this day and age baffled them. She slowly walked over towards the bar, keeping a bit of distance from the otherp people sitting at the bar. She looked around the bar, obviously lost.
