Akin looked to Shairi and Afu then to his daughters...he laid by Kichea, "Goodnight Shairi," he said in a rather sorrowful voice. He laid his head upon his own paws, curled his tail upon Kichea's and was unable to get sleep for awhile and then dozed off in exaustion.

Casai awoke in the morning, early, which was a surprise, as she was normally the one to sleep in. She sat up, yawning before she decided that she would go for a walk, perhaps get a drink before the sun was too high to travel much. She was old enough, wasn't she?
Not long after Casai woke, Afu too woke, looking around. He noticed the absence of the cub, and stood, startled. "Casai?" He whispered, trying not to wake anyone else. They all deserved their rest, times were rough, and everyone would need their energy today...

Nass awoke shortly after Casai left, she had felt it. She looked to her father whom was slumbering peacefully, everyonce in awhile he moved his paws or uttered a huff. She smiled and then looked to Afu who called out Casai's name. "Hey," she whispered looking to him, and then questioned where her sister went and it showed upon her expression.

Afu turned his head, looking for the voice. His eyes fell upon Ness, and he smiled. "Good morning, little one... or should I be saying, Aunt Nesseken?" He smirked, as he sat down, trying to remain calm. "Can I ask you where your sister would go so early?"
Casai, having no real set destination, meandered through the pride's territory, the tall grasses rippling above her silver form. She smiled as she hummed a song to herself.

Nessie looked to Afu as she stretched and got up..."No..." she looked up to him, and looked around wearily. "We should wake mother or father." her eyes looked to him seriously...hell would be there to pay if Akin awoke and no one found his beloved daughter. Her eyes flickered to her nephew.

Afu nodded as he walked over and nosed his mother, who awoke sleepily. "Mother... Casai is missing..." He said in a whisper.
Shairi, who was only half awake, sat up abruptly. "Casai? Missing?" She looked around. "When?"

Nessie blinked looking to Shairi, "When we woke up." she whispered as Afu had, not waking Akin nor Kichea...yet. Her orbs looked to Shairi's hopefully.

Shairi rose. "If I do not return with her by the time they are awake, tell them i've gone to look for her." She cast a look twoard her parents. Her father was coarse, and harsh at times, but he loved them all. Ifanything were to happen to one of them, Shairi knew he would not recover fromt he loss.
Afu nodded. "I will keep watch for her here. If she should return, I will roar with all my might."
Shairi nodded and nuzzled her son, and her sister. "I'll be back soon... i hope."
Casai, unawares of the turmoil she had caused, raeched the watering hole in the Pride's territory. She looked down into the water, seeing her reflection. She puffed out her chest and roared at her reflection, sadly not even rippling the water. She growled almost angrily, and batted a paw at the water, causeing it to splash up. "Hey!" She said offended, as if it was the water's fault she was now wet.

Nass watched her sister disappear to look for her sister and she looked to Afu. "Your huge." She still couldn't get over his size, she hadn't laid eyes upon a bunch of large males so it was quite intriguing. His white mane looked really fluffy to but she made no comment upon that one. Her ears flickered to him, she often made random comments when there was nothing else to do...a.k.a her getting bored.
