Ate blinked, tilting her head sideways. "Oy? Off? What do you mean?" she asked, trully puzzled. What could be off about her? She was perfectly fine, as sharp as a razor! ADD kicked in though, and her moment of mental paralysis waned away as fast as it came, a big smile stapled on her face. "Oh oh, can I hear them?"

"Nevermind..." a stab of envy shot through the white female for some reason. She smiled and nodded, feeling another kick of her babies paws. She wondered where the rest of the pride was. She started makeing her way back to her chambers of the den. She needed rest and it would soon be time for the world to see what gods could produce for childeren. Her babies would be nothing less than beautiful.

Cortana was just heading back towards the dens. She wore a few new scrapes a bruises from a lone hyena that had tried to make it past the boarder, but he was quickly sent of yowling. She layed down near the entrance of a cave and started to like her wound clean, so they would heal cleaner, even if they were just a few minor scrapes. As her queen approached she bowed her head respectfully.

Laeyna smiled to Cortana as she passed her, "The borders are alright now, I'm assuming?" she looked to her. "I'm sorry I had to lay it on you but I don't think it would be wise for a Queen to be checking her borders this deep into, you know." Her eyes flickered to her, "Thank you," her head tilted to the side as she resumed to go into the deepest chambers of the den.

Later in the night while the pride was entering the den as they had been called in for the night, Queen Laeyna went into labour. After minutes had passes into almost an hour the result seemed to be three beautiful cubs. Two females and one male. She smiled looking to all three of them. A roar wrang through the dens, echoing signaling the birth of the princesses and the prince of Amazon Beauties.

Peacefully amidst her siblings, the little white female nursed, quiet. Nothing else mattered but the warmth and milk of her mother, oblivious to those who came by eventually to see the newborns and greet their Queen.
Ate nuzzled her darling love with a newfound glee, one that was far warmer than the cold snort that recieved the two who shared her blood. Those could live or die, for all she cared. Mere tools to an end, to humiliate. These three little bundles though, were her pride and joy, fruits of her and her love's, with a little help of an indebted someone... Maybe they oughta break the news to him... Maaaaybe...
Shangri La was one who came around, though slowly and with a yawn. More cubs graced the pride, royals at that (and hopefully not as creepy as that yellow hurricane...), one's who'd hopefully at least help wear down Gihhlea's apparently endless supply of energy, alas the reason why she practically dragged herself across the grounds. "Perty kittens ye have, m'ladies... Grats."

Mirrin, after being scared about shitless from the queen's sudden roar, plodded toward the den. New babies seemed to be poping out of the wood work, and here she was, older than most here, and still a cub. It was depressing, as she wanted to be in love,(but with a male? god no!) But she had always heard that cubs never knew love. She snorted at that, tell that to my half brother. She poked her head out from behind Shangri La, and smiled at the queen. "They are beautiful, m'ladies. Congratulations."

Laeyna looked to them, they were beautiful. The two females heir to the throne. Whichever one proved to want it more and was a true warrior, she thought. Her head looked to the male, he was god. Beautiful as well. However, he wouldn't be able to stay in the pride as soon as he hit adult hood. That included Adonis, he was growing quickly and she would soon boot him. Not to be mean, just the rules and Phillip knew it coming in. She nosed Ate's cheek and then looked to her feeding childeren. They were all so pretty. "Thank you," she replied to Shangri La. "Would you like to come see them Mirrin?" she looked to the little female cub.

Mirrin dipped her head in a deep bow and stepped foward, glancing at each cub. They each were beautiful, as most new borns are. It was as clear as day who their mothers were. Each holding a bit of their parents. Smiling, she spoke softly. "Have you named them yet, m'ladies?"

She looked to them and she shook her head, "I have been thinking of some," she was going to name them after some of the gods that the two leggers believed in and heard of. It was obvious that her childeren were as beautiful as gods and surely they would be just as strong as their blood was of the highest.

Mirrin nodded. There was a male cub...what would become of him? Pride rules say that he would have to leave...How hard is that going to be? Laeyna would be upset i'm sure...as would Ate, watching their som leave. But that is the rules. And treating him differently because of his parents would not be fair. He is of Royal blood, so maybe...ahh whatever. I'll let them figure that out. She glanced over each cub. They were beautiful.

"My darling, the look upon your face is confusion. Why is this?" she was Queen and Mirrin was of her pride and anyone in it was like a sister or a daughter and this worried her. She didn't want anyone upset by things that occured in the pride this was supposed to be relaxation and a safe place.

"Wellll...whats to become of the male? Is he going to be allowed to stay, or will he have to leave?" She may be older than most here, but her cub curiosity had not waned. She knew the son of Phillip would soon be kicked out, and she wondered the fate of this male as well.

"I was kinda wanderin' that too..." Shangri acknowledged, watching said male kit thoughtfully. There were Laeyna, the Queen of the pride, side by side with Ate, a typical rulebreaker (not that there was anything wrong with it, but this was a special case...). So, it was with some surprise that the answer came from Ate and not the muse's lips, and fairly quickly.
"He may be royalish and all, but no matter how we love our little runt, he'll hit the way when the time comes. I do like my share of tweaking and bending, but this pride is a female haven for us to stay away from bothersome males, and that's that." It seemed almost dispassionate and uncaring, but the little nickname and the low sigh that followed gave away the trickster's more motherly side surfacing.

Laeyna nodded, "Rules are rules and he will not be here when he hits adult hood. And if he returns he will be dealt with like all other males whom try to enter this pride. But it will not come to that." a slight smile apearred on her face looking to Ate; she was changing. "Zeus." she stated. "His name will be Zeus.

Mirrin smiled. "Zeus. Isn't that a god of a two-legger?" She glanced at the prince, and smiled. Maybe he won't be as bad as the other males. After all, he is being raised by a bunch of male hating females. Thats way they were called the amazons, after all.
