And, as the evening waxed on and time passed on through all this time they had been going on about all these things, the sun had set and the stars were coming out. and the light bounced off his hair and on her eyes. the light of the sky illuminated them; and her white materia orb gave a soft glow. She was sure this must have been how her mother felt when she had met her father. Aeris had never known him really. She knew her mother and her were robbed from her father. She didn't know for sure; but she figured it was a safe guess with Hojo since her father wasn't a specimen that he was killed on sight. That was a sadness to her as well. She had been pretty much alone. Sure, her friends had been with her for a time; but they in time had not been able to stick with her either. She had escaped and not one had come to find her. She could remember when they were young and she sat on a desk and happily placed flower petals over his hair. And, she remembered a time when she had planted a flower seed in a cup for him. "Whatever happened to that flower I made you? When we were in the labs, I potted a small seed in a cup for you. Did you keep that?"

He smiled for a moment, then pulled out the cup. "Yes. It's still here. Maybe you can look at it for me. I'm not very good with plants." He chuckled for a moment. I remember you had a party of some individuals. How are they? I haven't heard any news of you so I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask." Adjusting some nearby flower pedels on his hair, he kinda liked being played with. It seemed to bring a certain joy in his heart.

Seeing it, she realized then perhaps he had never forgotten those days. Maybe he remembered her and her mother leaving. She wondered what kind of impression her mother had on him. Of course, her mother had a major impression on her. They were very close; and her mother treated her like she was the only person who mattered. She learned how to be so caring and nurturing from her. "Of course, I can help your flower." She smiled and almost had to laugh. It was really something to imagine the larger than life Sephiroth toting around a small flower inside his armor. She thought it was probably something not a soul knew about. Then again, she always had her white materia her mother had given to her; and that never left her person either. When he mentioned her friends, she was unaware of his rather knowing of Cloud and Zack. "Well, yeah. It is a long story; but this boy named Cloud I met by accident. He fell through the roof of my church onto my flowerbed. And, then Tseng came busting in trying to take me back to the shinra headquarters. Of course, that wasn't happening; so we ran away. Then, I ended up going with him to get his friend out of trouble at Don Corneo's house. And, then we went on a lot of journeys. I was with a pretty big group. But, you know.. most of them didn't really consider me normal. I guess I am kind of weird to a lot of people. My clothes don't look the newest. I guess I'm too nosy and talkative for people sometimes."

He heard the name "Cloud" and it almost got him angry. "Cloud... I know of him. Hearing his name almost makes me want to slice him in two. The battles we had. The blood that was shed." Snaps out of if. "But, I would rather be with you than worrying about fighting Cloud. Such a thing is deep within the past. I almost come to think that sometimes, being a tool for the foul corporation was fun. Now that I have met you, I would rather be with you than to destroy any cities or ruin this world. Seeing you again is all I will ever need." He smiles once more, now more relaxed than ever.

She scooted a little away and towards teh edge of the water. She put her hands on the ground and looked at her reflection in teh water with a backdrop of a moon and stars. She felt safe and belonging for the first in a very long time. Sure, being with avalanche she was with people helping a cause. But, this wasn't about causes. Well, maybe it was.. it was a personal one. One that did something for her for a change. It's nice to do for others; but at some point everyone needs another to do for them. Such passionate feelings he was igniting in her. She almost felt bad. She had been really close with Cloud for a while. She never did know though what kind of feeling he had towards her. He was never upfront about it at all; but here was Sephiroth. He was openly make a declaration of love for her. Who couldn't want that? She wrapped her tail around the rear of her body as she sat there, moonlight shining down on her.

Sephiroth moved towards her. sat down, and hugged her once more. "What's wrong? You seemed so happy before, but now something seems to be bothering you. Perhaps I can help." Splashing a little water on her feet, trying to do his best to cheer her up. "I always want you to be happy. I know that both of us have lived hard and long lives, but we need to move on and enjoy the many things around us. The sky is wonderful, this lake is wonderful..." He places his head upon hers. "... and even you are wonderful." He gently grabs her hand and remains silent from there.

"Nothing is really wrong. It's a lot of right all happening at once I guess. And, it's not like things to be happening right for me. You haven't seen any of those Shin-Ra goons here have you? I mean.. you know even for hte rest of my life.. Hojo has still been trying to get me back there. I mean.. I really owe Cloud, Tifa and Barret. They broke me out of there once." Her tail swished a little here and there. The lake was pretty. She could see the reflection of his head on hers. She found it almost a dream if she didn't know already she was awake and really here experiencing it.

"I haven't seen them and I really don't want to because all they will end up doing is ruining this place. I will make sure that Hojo will never lay his hands on you for no being should ever be treated like an "experiment". If I ever see Shin-Ra again...." He grabbed a blade of grass with his other hand and tossed it into the wind. Then, he was massaging her hand with his other hand, also looking at the reflection in the water.

She remembered Cloud giving the same promise, even Zack had issued the same hollow promises. She felt certain that he meant it. Who had met the end of his blade and lived? She wondered why she hadn't been able to run into him again earlier in her life. she thought back to the night the threesome broke her out of the shinra labs. They probably might not have succeeded; except that the whole building was in chaos after Sephiroth had returned there to get Jenova's body. How many times had they nearly been in the same place like that? Had they been drawn back to each other over all this time? And to think he had been so close to killing her more than once in the recent past. Not just today.. but that time before time warped them out of that world. She felt like some angel must have interceded for them to both be brought here at the same time that they should finally be reunited. The image of him with her in the water; she looked back at him. "Please, don't let anything upset you so much you'll throw everything away just because you're angry. Please... just promise you'll come talk to me before you do anything drastic anymore." She realized it was a tall order. He wasn't exactly someone who was known for being able to stop before he did something if he was angry, not to mention completely impulsive in the moment.

Still massaging her hand. Ever since that incident in the Shinra labs, he has never came back to that terrible corporation and he never will. He knows his life too good to spend it going back to be a soldier or a killer. He other things to take his mind other than death and destruction. He would never throw that away even if it ment sacraficing his life for love. He has found something precious to him and he will never throw it away. For once, becoming angry and throwing everything away would be futile to him.

She could remember being with him as a little girl; but back then he never acted like he liked her being around. She half turned her body to look up at him. She took the hand that had been massaging hers and brought it up to the side of her face. She held it there. Her eyes moved up to meet his. Now, there it was. A deep well inside him, and she was getting past the mirky smokescreen she had ran into earlier when trying it. She wanted to say something, but her words escaped her. So, all she did was smile.

He understood fully and kissed her. He never felt this way before about anyone, but he was glad to have shared this experience with her. So much was left unsaid and so much was left undone. But, he was finally able to find the meaning that he was looking for and there is no looking back now. He closed his eyes for he wanted to enjoy every moment of this wonderful night. To him, the stars were nothing compaired to her beauty and kindness.

When he kissed her, her momentary will evaporated, and she felt herself pulled in. She closed her eyes and her cheeks burned a deep pink. His open show of affections for her was sweeping her away. It was like the whole world was fading away; and only they existed. The world spun around and even though it wasn't really happening. It felt like they were floating on air with their hair and fur flickering about. Her tail began to move back and forth with a fury now. It was beated and in a set rhythm, unlike it's normal quiet and unresponsive state. He was unlocking deeper feelings in her that were setting her on fire, and she wasn't gonna fight it either. She drew her body in closer to him refusing to break the moment.

He decided to hug her as well while he was kissing. He felt a deep burning sensation in his heart, like something that was lost was now found. He could also forget the troubles of this world as long as he had her to share his feelings and thoughts. Sephiroth felt that he was high and as a kite and that nothing was going to get him down. He longed for this moment and now that it has come true, he was glad. He wrapped his tail around her's, hoping that this moment would last forever.

"I wonder if we're allowed to build homes here. Cuz, I think us having a small cottage here in the garden would really be swell. I mean... I'm assuming you are wanting to keep me for life. You keep saying how you're not gonna let me go and all." She said in hushed tones. It was hard to find her breath. Talking made her feel more like the world was reappearing, but she was finding it harder to resist it. The passion that exuded from him; it was intoxicating and was completely enveloping her. "We need somewhere we can go."
