Kaleb blushed brightly. "I-I'm sorry, I-I'll try not to be so nervous," he said, fidgeting quite nervously. "A-and I d-don't intend on exploring any parts of the building," he added quickly. He knew where Rufus' office was, and that was all he needed to know.

"Good" He grinned. "I would hate to have to send Reno to fetch you if you wandered somewhere you weren't suppose to" Some of the lower levels were blocked against Kaleb's kind of magic and his new Turk wouldn't be able to get out on his own.

"Th-there won't be any problems, sir," Kaleb said, shaking his head quickly. He looked down at his drink and was surprised to note it was almost gone. With a near-panicked expression, he attempted the same invisible shield spell he had cast earlier, and nervously chewed on his lip. The shield spell worked, but only just barely, and it's strength and thickness wavered unreliably.

"Good. I would suggest getting yourself another drink but i believe Reno has already tampered with them all" He looked toward Reno who was currently poking at Rude for something and shook his head.

Kaleb wasn't sure if he wanted to drink what was left of what he had, just in case it completely ruined whatever ability he had left to channel. He wasn't even sure he would trust himself with the portal spell at his current level of impairment. "I-I don't think I'm very thirsty," he said timidly.

"If you wish." He snagged a glass off a tray as someone passed with one and clinked it against Tseng's. It seemed like Rufus had already had his fair share of the alcohol.

Kaleb wouldn't have been so hesitant to drink if he were brave enough to ask for a ride home, but that was probably for the best since his cheeks were already a little flushed. He just nodded in response to Rufus, and adjusted his glasses as he looked down at his near-empty glass.

"I'm sure Rude can give you a ride home ... since he's got a make sure Reno gets home." Not that he expected Reno would go home but either way.

Kaleb blushed a bit. "I-I w-wouldn't want to impose," he said quickly, he knew Rude lived across town and wouldn't want the other to have to go out of his way after the party.

"It's either that or after Reno's managed to convince you to have a few more drinks you end up stuck here all night." He grinned at Kaleb.
The red-head, almost as if attracted to talk of himself, leaned on Kaleb and licked his cheek again. "Still stuck having no fun with the Boss?"

Kaleb looked absolutely terrified at the thought of staying at the office overnight, especially after all that talk about the head of the science department. Then again, he was also afraid of Reno talking him into another drink, and ending up waking up naked with two other guys again. As it was, he jumped with a terrified squeak when Reno leaned on him, and blushed like mad at the lick.

"Aww Rufus, what did you do to the poor kid? Trying to scare him out of his wits?" He leaned heavily on Kaleb.
"I was doing no such thing." He stuck his nose up and waved his glass at Reno.

Kaleb certainly looked scared out of his wits, and he took another swallow from his glass before remembering he didn't want to be drinking that. He choked back a bit of a whimper. "Reno, do you think Rude would mind giving me a ride home so I don't have to stay at the office all night?" He asked in a very quiet, very scared voice.

Kaleb blushed again at the lick. "I-I really don't know what you mean, but I don't want to be any trouble," he said glancing over his shoulder and inadvertedly giving Reno that cute look.
