Yhea! One up for the Generals! Oh, sorry about the misplaced enthusiasm. Anyway, It has been stated that Males can't be dancers. They must be bards. At least in SOTS.

Name: Michael
Affinity: Wind
Preferred Class:It has to be Shamans/Druids, come on if there all like Canas who can have good Def/Res/Skill you just give them a Nosferatu and send them on there way, Plus the Nosferatu and Luna spells can be a life saver against some of the harder Bosses, Like Limstella or Sonia

Name: John
Affinity: Fire
Preferred Class: I choose Rogue. Though they're far from the strongest units as far as attack and defenses go, Rogues have many other valuable qualities, including the ability to "relieve the enemy of" rare items, which I'm very glad of. I loved Assassins, but the loss of the ability to steal bothered me.

Edit>>> Name: James
Affinity: Fire
Preferred Classes: Swordsmasters and Assassins. They are the ultimate in slaughtering countless enemies. Swordsmasters have the high crit hit rate for massive damaged (hitting twice) and the assassins have there one hit KO's. Hands down the most deadly alliance out there.

*gets the point*
Though you know, I've never heard the "unicorns prefer women" anywhere other than..HP 4 eek
I used to read a lot of mythology but obvioulsy I havent been keeping up ^^;
And I couldnt be a wyvern >.> A friend gets very...objective whenever he sees them since they have front legs. Which they shouldnt. Apparently xp
Perhaps I'll wait a while before choosing one. That way I can be more original ^^ Though you do have to feel sorry for Heath crying

So what if the wyvern has front legs or the goblins are bigger? D&D and LotR isn't like a rule booklet for anything fantasy. Hell i've seen ppl get mad because Cloud (FF7) could lift such a big sword. So what? It's fantasy, it's not real. There shouldn't be rule. Yeah Pegasus Knights are restricted to girls in FE. Why? it's like that, its the world. Druids can't control nature, but darkness. Why? It's just like that. And Wyverns have front legs. Why? Because it looks nice. That's all... Gah... Sorry for the useless blah.

I'd both agree and disagree with that.
I wouldn't say "there are no laws," but I would agree that one fantasy-verse shouldn't dictate the way all of them work. But a fantasy world should be consistent with its own internal logic. If it's established early on that, say, magic can only be cast by cutting off part of your own body, then someone shouldn't suddenly be able to cast magic without doing that later on, for example.
I'm a writer, so I probably spend more time thinking about this kind of thing than most people, though. sweatdrop

Name: Matt
Affinity: Wind
Favorite classes: Well, to be honest, there are a lot of them. I like thieves, (who doesn't like people that can take out anything in one hit if they are lucky?) although that may have something to do with the whole name thing (Matt -- Matthew). Not to mention the fact that Matthew is so wise and witty. Swordmasters, well, I don't feel like I even have to justify this one. And lastly, Heroes. These guys (i.e. Raven, not necessarily Harken) can kick serious a**! One time, I was playing a link battle against my friend who had a full team of level 20/20 characters. My highest was level 17/20, and Raven was 15/20. My entire team was obliterated (obviously), but not before Raven single-handedly took down three (3!!!!!!!!) of my buddie's characters from full health.
