Aw dude thats messed up :/. "Some people should get used to viet people". Well thats not gonna happen as long as thats not your heritage. I mean, sorry if I ever mis-spell or mis-read anybodies name, but I just moved to Texas and before that I had never known any vietnamese people. Its gonna happen though guys. You will never stop encountering people mis-pronouncing or mis-spelling your name if its not a common one or a name you cant just plainly sound out. It might be a pain, but no one should be blamed harshly for it.
LOL! That reminds me when I first saw the name "Nguyen" I was like "Negooyen" o.0, but I've learned how to pronounce it now ^.^.

There are people that I've met here in Arizona that can't say Elba or spell it correctly. I'm either called Alba or they spell it that way or as Elva. Do I get angry? Of course not, it's human nature to mess up on things that are new to us. No human is going to know right off the bat how to pronounce or spell a name whether they've heard it before, its from a different heritage or whatever. With an attitude like that, you're not going to get far whatsoever.
But anyway, I digress and this is the intro to yourself thread.... to any new members, I'm Elba or Punkers, the originator and first President of the JCC who is off in Arizona for college. Welcome to the club, I hope that you are enjoying yourself.
