Lyndis I had a laptop, but Ghin's sick. And I don't have the cart. So I'm stuck with the home computer, which is usually occupied. xp So it's going to take me a while to get anywhere. Las Vegas, eh? Well, I've some tips for you. (I was watching World's Best Las Vegas travel scams the other night) WATCH YOUR MONEY! Unless you want to end up poorer than you are already. xp Did you know there is enough money in Las Vegas alone to cover the national debt? Also, don't trust random people on the streets selling stuff too good to be true. wink Nuu! Sick kitteh = bad. I only HAVE a home computer that my sister and I are CONSTANTLY warring for possession of. I'm only going there for two days, and it's not like I'm allowed to gamble. We're just going to shows and stuff, and my uncle's paying for it... xd Can't I just buy ONE lapdance?!

(random guessing and selecting can only get you so far)
Edit: well i was just planing to edit the post to throw in the name sense i did'nt even want to try to spell it, and i hate the word 'through', i hate it with the passion (btw i suck at spelling = google and MSword are my friends)

(random guessing and selecting can only get you so far) First of all, the title is Seima no Kouseki. The commands are in the same order as the English versions. Rescue comes first if you're next to a ally that can be rescued, then trade for any ally. Attack if you're next to an enemy. Then Items, then End. If a unit has more than 5 items than you also have the merchant command. * through and commands. Try gamefaqs or something, that's where I looked up stuff for the new character upgrades.

Takako's right. The menus are the same as the English. What I decided to do was to write down the commands in order. When I didn't know what one did, I experimented with it, found out what it did, and wrote it down. After a while, I learned to memorize and recognize the characters in accordance with the English translations. As for find out the storyline and such, I might suggest checking out the FESS boards. 3nodding

yea i noticed the menus are almost the same but i was more interested in the items so i dont use something i didnt mean to. ya know? and yea the story line ... heh its lost on me, oh well time to learn Jap.

Aw, I liked Ephraim and Eirik. Got them up to A. Although I think part of the reason I like them so much is because I also got Ephraim and Tahna up to B, and I think it's hilarious that this gorgeous girl is all over him and he just ignores it and won't shut up about his sister. Ah, incest. And while Summer's only got translations through chapter five or so last I checked, she does excellent work, so they're definitely worth taking a look at--and even though full script translations are only posted to that point, there are still enough Japanese speakers wandering around that someone should be able to answer questions about the general gist of most things. *coughs, comes out of Forumwhore Mode* Man, I'm starting to sound like I'm a military recruiter or something. gonk I've just gotten up to chapter 17 of Seima, but I've stopped moving the plot forward so I can levelwhore in the tower. I'm trying to get weapon levels all maxed out...and I think I'm going to try and train a few more of my guys up to promote, even though I've got more than a full party. Although most of the FE games don't encourage it, I'm still a levelwhore at heart, so finally playing an FE where I can really let loose my inner levelskank gives me a warm fuzzy feeling from head to toe. Also: Ephraim's sprite animations as a Master Lord: SEX. heart whee

Being a Fire Emblem fan has desensitized me to incest or something. When I first got into FE4, I was like "eew, no!"
And now I am a shameless, shameless EltoLache fan. And I found one of my old fics, written a couple years ago when I was still all "EEW NO INCEST ELTOSHAN DOES NOT LIKE HIS SISTER" and was reading it and was all "....I wrote this? eek "
Mainly, if it's interesting from a plot standpoint and causes angsty complications, I'm all for it. Hence, I adore Eltoshan/Lachesis, and one-sided Priscilla/Raven. Ephraim/Eirik doesn't seem to be angsty, but it doesn't bother me, either.
People who decide to throw two characters together and make them screw just because they can, on the other hand, frighten me. Like, if I found Johan/Johalva, or Florina/Farina/Fiora, or Rebecca/Dart, I'd be all gonk gonk gonk gonk
I'm down with the canoncest, but mostly because of the impact it has on the story. Random incest for the sake of it = eew, no. xp
