"Hmm?" Max quickly turned, hearing the sound of a bomb sizzling. Pulling out his bow, thinking it was a Bombchu, he turned to see a young teen staring right into a Bombchu's insane-looking eyes. Pulling back his bow, Max added an arrow to his bow, arming it, then carefully and quickly aiming at the Bombchu before anything, or anybody, was damaged. He released the bowstring, letting the arrow fly.
The arrow shot directly into the tail of the Bombchu, which was the most dangerous part of it. It exploded on contact, thankfully away from the young man in front of it.
Max jumped over a small rock, running over to him. "Hey, are you okay?"

Clearing some of the dust off of his shirt, he nodded and looked over at the other boy.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just seem to have some bad luck today and keep running into them. Thanks."
He picked up the blue rupee and shined that off quickly, holding it to the sun. Looking over at the boy who helped him out, he asked, "Do you want it?"

"Nah, I'm good. You can have it." Max laughed. "I've got plenty. So, what's your name? I'm Max." Max held out his hand to the boy to do a traditional hand-shake, then turned behind him. "This is Rednal. He's a priest." Max pointed to Rednal, then to Seya. "This is some random girl that came out of nowhere." Then, turning to Pum, and spat at the ground. "This is the stupid floating purple ball of stupid." Max said, then coughed. "Where did that stupid insult come from?"

Cole continued on the fields until the point where he was extremely tired. Cole had never travelled this much in his entire life. Cole continued to walk along what seemed to be an endless field. " I think I see the purple. " Cole said as he squinted and continued on.

Colt laughed and shook Max's hand, while stuffing the precious gem into his right pocket. He nodded at each and everyone of the people in the group and took a step back to look at the scorched earth the Bombchu had left.
"My name's Colt," he said, turning back at them. "I'm good friends with the Deku folk, so if you heroes wanna stop by anytime it'll be completely welcome. Where are all of you from?"

Cole ran toward what he thought was purple and it ended up being Pum. But there were other people with him. " Finally you stupid purple ball of stupid. You finally did something right. " Cole said as Pum looked confused as Cole and Max used the same line. Pum for once was speechless.

"Ahh, the Deku are nice people." Max said, putting away his bow on his back. "They make nice wooden weaponry." Max said, remembering how his father bought him his first sword from a Deku Merchant when he was little. Sniffing softly to hold back the tears of his father, he thought of tough thoughts, and blinked them away. "Alright, so, Pum, where to now?"
Turning to see Cole, Max stopped and flinched. "You stole my line!" Max cried out.

Cole looked at Max and grunted. " You know Pum is my fairy and I have been calling him that for many years. " Cole said as he glared back at Max and smiled. " Its alright. He gets pretty annoying. The name's Cole and I was the one who sent people to help the Deku Tree. " Cole said as he looked at the group. " Good enough. "

"I need to head back to the forest soon, actually. If you'd like to come with me I'll introduce all of you to the Deku," Colt offered, laughing at the memories of silly stories such as Deku Kings cooking monkeys alive for supposedly stealing princesses. The Deku had a very long and rich history, full of stories even some of the toughest men may not be able to take without getting excited.

"Alright, Cole... So, what's the Deku Tree's problem?" Max said. "Pum's too stupid to tell me anything besides insults..." Max grunted, then spat in Pum's general direction. At least he'll be partially under control with Cole there to calm him down.
Max turned to Colton. "Well, actually, we could head to the forest. However..." Max said, glancing at Pum and Cole, then glancing back. "We kind of need to help them, if it is as serious as I think it is." Max tilted his head towards the group. "Wanna come with us? We could use all the help we can get!"

Cole looked at Max and smiled. " Okay let me lay it down simply. I am a Kokiri and the Deku Tree is dying. Evil spirits have corrupted the Deku and the forest is suffering. Evil monsters have appeared around the forest and inside the tree itself. The tree will soon die and that means the life of an entire race will die as well. " Cole said as he looked at the Deku boy. " Well the lost woods connect to every part of the forested areas so connecting to the Deku Kingdom really isn't that hard. " Cole said as Pum floated behind him.

"Alright. So... Can it wait?" Max sighed. "I know it seems like a horrible time, but I'm tired, hungry, and want some R&R. Has it been going on for a while, or can it wait just a little bit longer?" Max sighed, taking out a piece of bread he had saved until now. It was stale, of course. Sighing, he threw it into the fields.

Cole looked at him and smiled. Cole ran off toward the forest again in a bit of rage. Cole was running back to the forest to solve the problem himself. Cole continued through the field until he actually reached the edge of the forest. " Some heroes. " Cole said walking back into the forest.

"Well." Seya watched rather calmly as Cole ran across the Fields and out of her sight. "That was..." Interesting was the word she wanted to use but she wasn't really sure if it described the situation properly. "Well... maybe we could drop by Castle Town to get supplies and then go to the forest and see if Cole still wants our help?" she suggested, not having any other ideas. "And I'm going to ignore that." Turning to Colt, she said, "My name is Seya. I'm from a little town I don't think you'll have heard of, so no use telling you. Most of the people could only agree on one name, anyways, and that was 'home'."
She was surprised to find that those last few words were so hard to say, and blinked and turned away- the former to prevent tears, and the second to make sure that if the tears came nobody would be able to see them.

"We can always do what we want in the Kokiri Village. I'm sure they're gonna accept any help we got. They'll let us in." Max hypothesized. "And, Cole might not want us to, but I'm sure he'll let us--- Arghh!!!" Max lurched over in sheer pain, grabbing his shirt and pulling it away from his chest. The burns were still there, and Max was trying to keep things from touching it, which only made it hurt more.
"What... The... Hell!!?" Max growled, panting. "I hope... They... Have good... Medics... At... Kokiri Village..." Max said. "Let's get out of here."
