Demyx doubted his friend would let himself be killed by something like ice cream, but it didn't hurt to be -sure-...
As for looking silly, Demyx's position in the Organization was the equivalent of someone like Tseng bouncing around excited about ice cream. Then again, the young sitarist had never really cared about appearing calm, or menacing, or anything like that.

"It's just a name since the stuff is usually so chocolaty that you can't finish it. Suppose to be cake not ice cream but i guess the flavor could be the same" Though he didn't think you could really get fudge icing out of fudge sauce for the same effect.

Kaleb's eyes widened. "Th-there's a cake too?" he asked, glancing at Riley with a disbelieving expression. If the ice cream was good, the cake version would be complete bliss.

Kaleb's mouth was watering just listening to the description, Riley must have been trying to torture him or something. With some effort he shook it off and smiled at Demyx. "I-I don't think I've ever had something with too much chocolate." Although if Riley told the truth about that cake, he hadn't tried nearly enough chocolate deserts.

Demyx merely stared as Riley went on about the chocolate cake. Yeah, that was -way- too much chocolate for him. And, even if he did manage to eat it, he'd probably have some horribly sugar high and then be sick as hell...
Yes, Luxord would surely not approve of that, better stick to his usual choice of ice cream.

"I think there's a cake store 'round 'ere that sells it ... they have these really huge triple fudge cookies to go with it too." He really shouldn't have paid attention to cake places but Rufus had a sweet tooth some times and he'd been sent out for desert before.

Kaleb bit down on his lower lip to keep from licking it. Now he was sure Riley was just saying those things to torture him, since it wasn't like he would buy himself chocolate cake or cookies.

Now, chocolate might not have been his first choice, but huge cookies were always something that peaked his interest. Big chocolate cookies sounded really really -really- good.
"They really have huge cookies?"

Kaleb mentally promised himself he wouldn't cave and ask Riley where the shop was located. Even if the deserts were cheap, he really didn't need them, and should take whatever methods he could to keep himself away from them. So much chocolate really wasn't healthy at all.
"I-I think we're close to the ice cream shop," Kaleb said, turning a corner to take them onto a large street lined with commercial buildings and restaurants.

A cookie that big was sure to induce a stomachache, but damn it sounded good. Grinning quite a bit at the idea of a huge cookie, the sitarist followed Kaleb as he turned the corner.

He made a note to find Kaleb one of those cakes since he knew his partner wouldn't go buy it on his own.
"So ... what's tha place called?" He eyed all the signs that lined the street.

Kaleb thought about that for a minute, but instead of replying right away he just pointed. "There, it's that one with the red striped awning and the cardboard ice cream cone." He grinned and picked up his pace, but then paused. "I-I think I have a pair of coupons, if you guys want to go ahead, I'll get them and meet you in the shop."
Without waiting for a reply, he made sure nobody on the street was paying any attention before stepping through a portal to his apartment, where he proceeded to rummage around. He couldn't remember where he had put the flyer with the coupons, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.
