Octyx tilted his skull abit as she looked abck at him, but streightened it out after a few seconds, than raised a brow as her eyes shifted to the river. If she had tried to run, he would most likely have to go through the troubles of bringing her back to the town, which he didn't really want to do what with what possibly could be across the river. He let out a sigh of partial releif though as she turned and started to walk into the city. He followed right behind her. As he follows her, he glances around at the peoples reactions, most of which made him frown. As she stops and looks down, he blinks abit and nearly walks into her, yet catches himself and takes a step back. He gives the last person who had gave her a face a sharp glare than looks at her. He frowns abit than takes a step so that he was beside her and clears his throat. He thoguht that probably now would be the best time to apologize, though he wasn't quite sure on how he would do it. He wasn't all too great at saying that he was sorry, yet he gave it his best shot. "Excuse me... Mika, but.. I must apologize for my previous words against you." he stops for a second to sigh softly. "I just have abit of a temper issue people tell me.."

Mika glanced up to him (Cause she's mad short and has to look up like that xD) tilting her skull, "Why are you apologizing?" She once again didn't realize she had spoken before saying it, and quickly stopped there. Apologies were a new thing for her to recieve. After realizing she had spoken, she frowned a bit, "I'm.. sorry." Without a moment to wait, she quickly moved ahead, trying to ignore the looks she recieved as she passed, now walking at a much quicker pace.

The man dropped his hand once again, looking back to Octyx, his expression clearly drawn with anger, "I was just about to ask you the same damned thing." His face in general seemed slightly lethargic and his stance shakey as he seemed to be drunk. He lifted his hand once again shakily to point to Mika, "If you're such a tough a** guard, why the hell did you let trash like that in here?" He quickly grabbed another bottle from the floor and threw it in Mika's direction as well. Mika ducked once again, hearing the glass break away from her, but a lone shard seemed to have hit her opposite arm. She glanced down to the small trickle of blood the came from her new wound as the man simply smiled. She on the other hand, was a bit lost in thought, not sure of what to do at that exact moment.

Mika's orbs widened as she heard them begin to "fight", immidiatly looking back over to the two. Her orbs never left them as Octyx dragged the man closer to her and told her to apologize. The man simply removed his hands, wiping away the blood with one of them, "To hell I will. I wouldn't degrade myself and apologize to one of their kind." He snorted and spit on the ground in front of Mika despite the pain he was clearly in. She had no idea why Octyx was even doing all this, feeling that it wasn't really worth it to her. She looked back to Octyx, the confusion evident in her face.

Mika's auds twitched a bit as she saw the man get kicked, watching as Octyx moved. Though, she still seemed frozen in place, since normally she would simply move along and not have stopped this long. She glanced down to the man before following to where Octyx motioned to, keeping her head down once again. There was so much she didn't understand, but knew it was not her place to get answers to any of it.

Mika stops in front of him and looks up to him, her orbs a bit weary at this point because of what had just happened. She shakes her skull as if to "wake" herself from the last events and then shrugs her shoulders, "I guess." She only really ate when she could and had never been asked that question, but she thought she should respond to it. Having no experience being in the presence with someone for so long, she could only guess how to be polite.
